The heating elements drop down from the ceiling: cool and unexpected. They have vibrant color changing lights that give the place a festive feel. Mirrors cover one wall. Well organized props. Lot parking with some spaces reserved for the studio. I did their $10 for 10 days Black Friday special and enjoyed several of their classes including some excellent unheated yin classes with Cassandra and some flex, flow and power vinyasa classes. I really loved that Cassandra allowed you to rest and meditate in the postures and was not overly talkative during the class. The hottest class I took here was up to 99 degrees. They also have a Bikram style class at 105. The $10 for 10 days special was an amazing value but their drop ins are $30 and their 10 class pack is $269. Their monthly membership is pretty reasonable for $129 if you practice frequently. I'd love to come back to this studio occasionally but don't want to pay so much for a drop in or ten class. If I didn't currently have a lot of passes at other studios right now I'd do their monthly membership as that's definitely worth the price. Experienced instructors. I liked the vibe here a lot. One of the owners was around to greet folks before class for a few classes I attended and was very friendly. The other yoga practitioners here also seemed pretty chill and nonjudgmental unlike some other studios in the area where you find some snobbishness and oneupmanship. Pretty five star experience but subtracting a star for the priciness of the drop ins and 10 class packs. Definitely encourage you to give it a try as their regular new member special is a great deal for four weeks at $39. The owner told me they may be adding Pilates to the schedule. I will keep an eye on their website and may consider the monthly when my passes at other studios expire. I also like that they have classes later in the evening and on Saturday afternoons. Happy that I checked this place out.

These classes were amazing and so were the energetic, friendly and skilled instructors whose creativity and personalities powered the classes.. I am 76 1/2 years old and felt perfectly comfortable in an environment where I was encouraged to go at my own pace. My husband felt totally comfortable in the Barre class as did the other man there.Excellent management. Can't wait to return with an unlimited class membership.

However, there are some common ground In Harmony Yoga has to be a 4 star yoga studio. It's locally owned, offers inexpensive classes, has nice instructors and a reasonable schedule. I have been coming here for Hot Warrior Yoga with my boyfriend for two weeks. Our instructor David, is very nice and attentive, and he also cares about injuries. If you are like my boyfriend, have injured knee or back, David always reminds you alternative poses. Also David emphasis on the breathing techniques as well as the poses, it helps beginners like me a lot.

How am I the first person to review The Yoga Loft? I barely do yoga…read more That said, I started coming to this studio a couple of months ago, and since then have attended several classes. So while I may not have a good feel for the breadth of this studio's offerings, I certainly have enough experience with the place to share some thoughts. Quick story. For the past few years I've been having some trouble with my back. Nothing serious. Just muscle strain. But my wife was tired of hearing me complain about it, and I was tired of complaining too. Our collective thought was that the stretching and core strengthening of yoga might be just the thing I needed. But I had never done yoga before. And my flexibility was abysmal. Forget about touching my toes, I can barely touch my knees. So my wife found a few local studios that had a gentle yoga class. The Yoga Loft was one of them. And it just so happens that not only did the class fit well into my calendar, this studio just happens to be in the same building as my favorite cheesemonger. Done. And done. So I ran out and bought a yoga mat and some yoga pants. Now I'm doing yoga, and I like it. This class in particular focuses on making sure participants aren't overdoing it. Mary encourages her students to check-in with their bodies periodically, and offers alternatives to the poses just in case things get too intense. I love that. And I love how I feel after each class. I still can't touch my toes. But I think I'm getting closer to my knees. And without a doubt, this class is starting me down a healthier path. Well, at least a path with greater flexibility and maybe core strength. Because the health benefits from the class may be slightly diminished by my lunches at the cheese store next door. Which sometimes include an afternoon beer. Yoga followed by amazing cheese and great beer? That's my kind of exercise program.

Parking is easy and I agree with other reviewers about the easy community feel between staff and class members. The studio is beautiful and clean, with a calming view of trees through three big picture windows. I have to say too, I do not take for granted that a heated yoga studio will smell clean- and Radiance has it down! I took two different classes here while I was in town. One with Abby, who stood out as straightforward, fun, and very capable teacher. I love a yoga class where people can laugh and feel natural, and she fosters that so well. The other class was with Becca, who has a totally different style- her class was calming, gentle, and very encouraging. I enjoyed both! The classes are heated with infrared but are only up to around 88 degrees so it wasn't too draining. Both teachers walked around class and gave verbal group cues but I didn't notice any individual corrections- so if that's important to you, I would ask about it when you come. One thing to note logistics-wise is that there are no showers or locker rooms, though the bathrooms are big enough to change in and people clear out pretty quickly after class ends so you aren't waiting long. There are open cubbies in the entry area and it felt safe to leave my stuff there especially since there's desk staff in full view the whole time. I really enjoyed checking this place out and plan to come back when I'm around again! Highly recommend.

(If you have been to a yoga classes that felt like an 80's workout led by a flight attendant or a class where the instructor was surrounded by such a massive haze of nag champa and new age lingo that they didn't seem to notice that there were other people in the room, then you might know what I'm talking about!) Radiance on the other hand, is one of my favorite studios. The teachers are present, grounded, insightful, brilliant at accommodating all levels and they are amazing, real, actual humans. The studio has a great balance of committed practice, mindfulness and even (my personal favorite) playfulness. Instructors are inspiring. They lead by example but also make personal contact and adjustments. (Which is so important) I always feel welcome and invited when I come in and leave feeling refreshed, renewed and invigorated.

Being overweight when I first started yoga, I'd tried other studios and was really uncomfortable. Not here. Pam is very open about how her yoga practice has helped her live a healthier life and she's incredibly welcoming to all shapes an sizes. Don't be scared that you're too fat or in-flexible or anything less than; you're not and Pam has a way of bringing out your personal beauty with each class. My yoga practice here has also helped me to have my own "ah-ha" moments and helped me realize my own potential and worth. I could go on, but instead I'll encourage you to try it for yourself.

I've taken classes with Cathy, Rima and Ben and found them all to be excellent teachers, welcoming, knowledgeable and focused on their students' needs. The studio is well equipped and uncluttered; classes are not too crowded; and, one leaves class feeling refreshed and renewed.
