Radiant made my dad's celebration of life truly unforgettable. Caitlin Mikasa, the General Manager, was kind, responsive, accommodating, and wonderful to work with from start to finish. She helped plan every detail, and our guests repeatedly praised the delicious food, excellent beer, and outstanding service. Kane, our bartender, was warm and welcoming and struck the perfect balance between respect for the occasion and celebration of a life well lived. We came in late on a Saturday night and it wasn't too crowded. We ordered beer at the counter and brought it outside. They went around to inform everyone when it was last call for food and then again when it was last call for beer. They have a lot of good beer options. Since it was my first time, I went for the German pils. I plan to come back, as a fan of Radiant beer. Their bathrooms are clean and they have their sinks outside the main bathroom so you can wash your hands without going inside, which is so convenient. My wife and I have driven past Radiant so many times on our way home, but this time would be our first time we decided to drop in. Here's the lowdown. Pull into the parking lot but not big by any means, there's a few spaces, not more than a handful though. We were fortunate that as we pulled in, someone had just started on their way out. Enter the building and it's quite inviting. To the right there was a sort of entertainment space where families are most definitely welcome. Making our way through the hall, you'll enter the main area where you'll find a fridge with cold ones ready for a grab and go. Just ahead is the counter where we were greeted by friendly staff. Grab a menu and place your order. They've got a nice range of food and of course beers. We decided to keep it simple and try some light finger foods to snack while we sipped on our brew. Cauliflower and beer battered fries were both perfect. Light, crisp and delicious. I'm definitely looking forward to another visit and bringing an appetite. I ordered their Gaining Momentum Hazzy IPA and was very impressed with the well balanced hazzy feel and hoppy notes. Parking is usually difficult if you get there later in the day. I see people parking in closed businesses but it doesn't explicitly say radiant parking so it's sketchy. Their parking is clearly marked. The beers are good and food is okay. They do a lot of theme nights which are usually fun to go to and super crowded. I really enjoy coming here because it's family and pet-friendly, which makes it a great place to bring your dog. The food is great, and they have a nice selection of beer and wine. My only concern is that it's often very difficult to find a place to sit, especially on the outdoor patio where most pet owners can sit. There appears to be additional outdoor space that could be used for more seating, but there are barrel tables that are quite small and don't leave much room for food and drinks and we have to stand. This place covers nearly all my beer needs. The Barley wine is 14.2%, the white wine is 13.0% the Hazy IPA's are fruity and slightly dank and the Belgium is rich and dry. Full of flavor. The pizza( the works) was crispy, charred and tasty to go smoothly with our beers. Not only is a full kitchen available, but there's two separate areas. A recreation room and a tap room. My favorite beer I've had here was called "Just between us", and I believe it was a hazy IPA. Very good. The food is also good. Pizza and the caprese salad is good. The chicken bites weren't my favorite, and the ranch was meh but not terrible. The only issue is that I wish they were more consistent with their non alcoholic options. My parents & friend stopped by here before an Angels game since they allowed outside food on their premises (we brought In-N-Out) and of course to grab a beer beforehand. The several beers that we tried here were delicious! I really liked my Hazy beer. It was a really hot day, and even though the entire inside areas (on both sides) were full, we found a table outside and were able to tilt the umbrellas which allowed our whole party of 4 to be in shade while we ate and drank as well. There was inside and outside seating available, the place looks small when driving by but it's actually much bigger than I expected.
