He even trusted them to do work on his teeth! After we left he even said it himself that he really likes it here cause everyone is so nice. This coming from your child puts you at ease, especially since you can't be in the room with them when work is being done. They have our full trust!

They left a great impression! The dental technician was Gladys and she was also really good with our son. I was expecting kicking, screaming, and in the end he enjoyed it so much he wanted to go back. Literally what else could you ask for in a pediatric dentist??

Person on the phone "okay, yes we can see her," I get to her appointment to be told the price will be different then on the phone and that the doctor will refer her to a pediatric dentist. On the outside of the clinic you see them promoting pediatric dentistry. The front desk person then says we have a pediatric dentist that comes in sees our pediatric patients one to two times a month. I asked then how old do you have to be to be seen here. She said 6 months and up. I said so then why will my daughter not be seen. She said she can see her but she won't be touched. She said she would just refer you out. This place is a waste of time, money, and a joke.

Once passed back they have their teeth cleaned and get a dental check up. At our initial visit my 4 year old son had decay and was going to need sedation for his visit. I was very skeptical about the procedure but the Dr was very patient in explaining everything that was going to happen during his visit. For his treatment visit he was brought back alone ( I wasn't sure who was more nervous me or him) but I received text message updates during his visit and he did great! He came out with great prizes and He was excited to come back!!! He told me , he got to play with superheros, watched Finding Dory and it didn't hurt!! A few months ago my 3 year old needed to get treatment with sedation and I knew he was in the best hands. We had another great experience! And my 3 yr old is also excited to go back! Thank you Dr. Ibarra and all of Houston Pediatric Dentistry Team for making this such an amazing experience, not only for my little ones but for myself!!!!

Instead of taking the time to answer my questions, she seemed impatient and eager to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. As a parent calling a pediatric dental office, I expected a more understanding and supportive interaction, especially during a busy morning start-of-the-week time. Customer service is extremely important, and unfortunately, this interaction left a very poor first impression. Definitely not coming to this office.

I got to tell you, through all these years, Dr.Bogert maintained pretty much the same staff. His hygienists are top notch at what they do. This third kid of mine is a nightmare patient. He starts screaming before he even walks in the room. Trust me when I say he is difficult. I have had my fair share of ninja skills screaming kids working in ER for over 10 yrs. We all worked as a team, they got him in and out in under five minutes. You will never have a feel like they are overwhelmed with their job in general or with your little ninja baby. Their front desk makes it as easier as possible for you to complete paperwork. I didn't have his dental insurance info with me but ladies at the front office knew what dental insurance my company uses and found all they need with just little to no effort from me!

Two of his teeth came out unexpectedly in the first year. I wondered if that happened because of the work. Today, my grandson just had more work done elsewhere. He had to have 2 primary molars removed because the roots were dissolving. I was shown the X-rays and told the bad work done previously by Dr Bogart was causing the need to remove the teeth. They said they couldn't take him in be they where going to put him to sleep and I told them I got him out of school and missed work for this and I confirmed with the school he didn't eat or drink nothing! All that to say, I waited WAY TOO LONG to see Dr. Burch - she instantly was able to come up with a plan for my dental work after a good cleaning, and has already fixed 2 awful crown jobs for me, solving an issue of terrible tooth sensitivity that kept me from chewing on the left side of my mouth for almost 2 years prior. She is an angel! Dr. Burch is so good at what she does, and doesn't stop until the work is perfect, even if it's inconvenient. I would HIGHLY recommend Burchwood Dental to anyone!
