I used to always shop at this Kroger location so how did I miss it? This was my first time at MINT. Their office is really nice. I love the modern decor. The young ladies at the front desk were very friendly. One of them handed me an iPad so I could easily fill out the required paperwork for new patients. When they called me back, the first thing they did was take x-rays. It was quick and easy. Next, we went to a room for more x-rays. And then the dental assistant did a mold of my teeth for the free whitening tray new patients receive. Nice bonus! Then the dental hygienist came in to do my cleaning. It was rough. I'm not going to lie. She warned me it would be uncomfortable and she was right. But it wasn't her fault at all. It was my fault for letting the tartar build up so much. Next time I'll be back in six months so it won't be so bad. I'm sure most people don't look forward to going to the dentist. I know I was kind of dreading it since it's been a long time. But everyone was friendly and they put me at ease. I like how they let you listen to Pandora or watch Netflix. But it was hard to watch my movie while they were in my mouth! Overall, this was a very positive experience. I plan on returning in December. My appointment has already been scheduled!

She ripped down between 2 of my teeth on the top row in front. When she was cleaning them, she split the bottom edge of my tooth. Not long after the visit I began eating. The tooth edge where she split it chipped off. I now have a chip located on the outer bottom edge of the tooth. Also, last year this same dental hygienist chipped off one of my lower front teeth in the back with a dental probe while also cleaning my teeth. This now causes me distress, because I can feel the tooth damage every time I run my tongue against my teeth. I won't be coming back again to Castle Dental on Fairmont parkway. Castle Dental has a good dentist Dr. Craig Mclure at this location, but not a good dental hygienist. I will be going somewhere else to have my teeth cleaned. Even if it means finding a new dentist somewhere else, I refuse to let that same dental hygienist clean my teeth.

I read reviews on yelp to find a good orthodontist. I came for a consultation (free). From the…read moremoment I walked in, everyone was very nice. Customer service here is definitely 100%. The tech that took me back took pictures of my teeth. She explained every step, gave me a tour, and made my first visit fee very in depth. I waited for a few minutes and I was greeted by Nicole. She is the coordinater that helps you with the financial aspect of your treatment. I was immediately greeted with a warm handshake from the doctor. His consultation was so in depth and not rushed at all. He answered every question I had, even the silly ones. I thought that traditional braces was going to be my only answer but he assured me that I can have the same treatment in the same amount of time with Invisalign for the same cost (they have a promotion right now). I'm 31 years old, sign me up for clear retainer braces! I never realized that it's so much more than just having straight teeth. He explained to me about my bite, the shape of my teeth, side effects that I have now that I didn't even know was because of my current structure. He went into detail how and why my teeth will shift and what to expect. For a free consultation this was so in depth and really blew me away. Nicole made it easy for payments. It's pretty up front. You make a down payment. The more you put down, the lower your payments. It's not rocket science like some of the previous reviews I read. It's very easy to see how many months it will take to pay off the amount. If you choose to pay it off early that's fine. She was willing to work with me if I needed help with payments but everything was fine. It's like having a bill due every month that's auto drafted and you pick the date. She was very nice and explained everything in details. Last step was getting my teeth scanned for the Invisalign to get my trays. Super easy. Fast. The tech even removed my old retainer on my bottom teeth that was permanent. She made sure I was in no pain since the water is cold. I simply had to raise my hand and she would stop and hold my tooth from the ache of the cold. That's an extra step that no hygentist has ever done. She told me that my trays will arrive in 4-6 weeks. I look forward to future visits here and a straight healthy smile. P.S. They have free drinks and ice cream in the waiting area which is so cool!
