I contracted with his company to have the Delta Ultra Pro II Backup Power System by Eco Flow installed at my home, and thus far I'm very pleased. This technology is so new that the County Inspector said mine was the third one he had seen. This was the first time Wes had installed one, and even though there were some minor complication(s) with the initial link up process; after much research and surprisingly excellent and timely responses from Eco Flow Customer Service regarding those issues, he was able to resolve them. A slight caveat; make darn certain that you research the system's capabilities and how you want to integrate it with your home. The technology can be a bit tricky, which means it's important to understand what it can do, and what it can't do. Wes explained to me that the two batteries I chose to start with should adequately suffice my power needs during an unexpected outage. So far, his assessment is on point. We had thunderstorm one night a few weeks ago, and our grid power went out. However, my wife and I didn't know that until we tried to turn on an electrical appliance that is not backed up by the Ultra Pro ll. Yes, the switch over was just that seamless. Definitely have a keen understanding of how many batteries will be required to sustain the residual operations you want powered once the power grid goes offline. Due to the cost, I decided to start with just two batteries, but plan to add another soon. I strongly recommend that once you're ready to pull the trigger on purchasing one, you won't regret it. The workmanship was fantastic, and my consultant , Nick, was super helpful. He basically held my hand through the whole process, and managed the timeline. They handled the permitting, and the approval with my HOA, the gas technicians, installing the gas pressure sensors and new gas lines, as well as the after inspection with the City. The city inspectors only had minor comments/concerns, which the team at Generator SuperCenter took care of quickly. Once complete, Nick came out and showed me how to operate and set up the weekly service and maintenance tests. If I had any issues, I could contact the service team through the app and schedule any service requests! The Generac mobile app is also helpful to see the status and history of my generator, and super helpful -- especially if you're away! Value wise, I thought the price was very reasonable. The price was all inclusive and I just paid the initial down payment and then the balance the day the workmen came. I bought through Costco, so at the end I got $1600 gift card to spend at Costco. If I had to do it again, I'd do it in the spring or fall, as they had to shut off my electricity for 5-6 hours. One last tip, make sure you keep records of all paperwork and payments, as this is also proof for improvements made to your home.
