Treatment was expensive, but they were courteous and helped us figure out the best treatment options within our price range. Overall have found them to be pleasant to work with. Until this past year. Have had numerous issues, but the absolute worst was when we started taking my other dog. She's not a fan of the vet and needs anxiety meds to go. They didn't approve of the meds from the previous vet and wrote a new rx. So we show up and she is still stressed. Is the med not working?? Oh it's working. Only problem is that they wrote the instructions wrong, and prescribed a half dose. I was livid! What if they had made an error which increased the dose and killed my dog?!!! Let alone the wasted time and travel. They "fixed" the rx for correct quantity. However, I had to recently refill. Guess what? Her meds STILL have the wrong instructions!! This practice has definitely switched from caring about their patients to wanting money. As much as possible. They told me if I want to discuss their F*** ups, I'll have to schedule an appointment. So I have to pay, and travel to them, to discuss their horribly dangerous practices, such as leaving a controlled medication out of its lock box. Not supposed to be handled by anyone other than the vet, yet somehow front desk person found it just sitting on a shelf, unsecured. Went ahead and processed the sale without the vet. Against what they said were their own policies. I do not understand what has happened to this vet, other than greed, but I am no longer sure if it is a safe environment for my pets. They also messed with our dogs vaccinations to such an epic degree! Telling us they only did some of the vaccines that were needed. Tooo bad, so sad. They changed his vaccines so he would have to come in 5x/year instead of 1-2. Why did they do this??? Money. By only giving 6month vaccinations (and not telling us of their decision to change his routine) and changing as much as they could, they could now charge for multiple appts and vaccines. Oh, that's stressful for you and your pup? TOO BAD!! WE NEED MORE MONEY!!!! Money has changed this from a loving, caring vet, to one who screws owners and their pets so they can make quotas. Quotas. At the expense of our loved fluffy ones. Not on my watch. Never again will we return.

We tried another holistic vet, but they were waaaaaaay on the side of holistic care and we were hoping to find someone trained in both traditional medicine and holistic medicine. I figured it would hurt to try Dr. Doug as he seemed like the perfect fit for what we wanted and is also well respected in the community. Everyone we interacted with, from the ladies on the phone to make the appointment to the staff the day off and Dr. Doug were all exceptionally kind. I arrived and was greeted warmly. We were taken to a room and the tech was awesome. Dr. Doug was everything I hoped he would be. The entire place is clean and kind of serene which I'm not used to, but was so thankful to find. Most notably, for whatever reason, my dog was the calmest and most relaxed that she's ever been while getting medical care. It was just such a great experience for both of us. Dr. Doug spent almost an hour and a half doing a very thorough deep dive in her history and made some recommendations that I'm excited to try. While it's too far to be our regular vet, we will absolutely continue working with Dr. Doug and hopefully his unique perspective will help us better manage our dogs health and diagnosis.

They offered us Prednisone to help shrink the tumor and to give us a little time. They sent her home in a two handled harness and told me she would need it the rest of her life. I've learned so much with Sophie's illness I try to share what I learned. Do NOT vaccinate your pet every year because a vet told you to. They may not need it and you're putting your loved one at risk. Dont feed grocery store food or anything that starts with meat by products in their ingredients. Food can kill them. Maybe not today but maybe in 2,3,4 etc years. It is NOT good healthy food just because you pay more. Do the research if you love your pet as I do! Look into those vaccine's and flea meds. Toxic! There r holistic products that work just as well and will not give them cancer or brain tumors. Every vet has a different education just like our Doctors. Dr. Maro and her staff were great (quick, efficient, no delays in treating her pain and placing an IV). They updated us every step of the way on everything from costs to her condition. They ordered testing that pinpointed her illness - it was pancreatitis, and she was critically ill. They not only got a diagnosis the same day, but put her on the road to recovery. All the staff and doctors worked as a team to support us and her, and the vet techs were so kind. Dr. Analeu performed an ultrasound and Dr. Jones took over (the following day) on my grand-dog's care until she was able to come home. We are very happy with their services and highly recommend them.
