Started taking one of our dogs here a few years back once our local vet went downhill in their care. Treatment was expensive, but they were courteous and helped us figure out the best treatment options within our price range. Overall have found them to be pleasant to work with. Until this past year. Have had numerous issues, but the absolute worst was when we started taking my other dog. She's not a fan of the vet and needs anxiety meds to go. They didn't approve of the meds from the previous vet and wrote a new rx. So we show up and she is still stressed. Is the med not working?? Oh it's working. Only problem is that they wrote the instructions wrong, and prescribed a half dose. I was livid! What if they had made an error which increased the dose and killed my dog?!!! Let alone the wasted time and travel. They "fixed" the rx for correct quantity. However, I had to recently refill. Guess what? Her meds STILL have the wrong instructions!! This practice has definitely switched from caring about their patients to wanting money. As much as possible. They told me if I want to discuss their F*** ups, I'll have to schedule an appointment. So I have to pay, and travel to them, to discuss their horribly dangerous practices, such as leaving a controlled medication out of its lock box. Not supposed to be handled by anyone other than the vet, yet somehow front desk person found it just sitting on a shelf, unsecured. Went ahead and processed the sale without the vet. Against what they said were their own policies. I do not understand what has happened to this vet, other than greed, but I am no longer sure if it is a safe environment for my pets. They also messed with our dogs vaccinations to such an epic degree! Telling us they only did some of the vaccines that were needed. Tooo bad, so sad. They changed his vaccines so he would have to come in 5x/year instead of 1-2. Why did they do this??? Money. By only giving 6month vaccinations (and not telling us of their decision to change his routine) and changing as much as they could, they could now charge for multiple appts and vaccines. Oh, that's stressful for you and your pup? TOO BAD!! WE NEED MORE MONEY!!!! Money has changed this from a loving, caring vet, to one who screws owners and their pets so they can make quotas. Quotas. At the expense of our loved fluffy ones. Not on my watch. Never again will we return. read more

Tech stated "you're just used to seeing him heavier, he's still within the normal body score range" My dog died Saturday am in my arms after 3 weeks of the wrong treatment and misdiagnosis I believe he had Acute kidney failure caused by poisoning Dogs don't die of gastritis My dog died Saturday weighing 127lbs from kidney failure not gastritis I will not have my other dogs treated by this vet read more

This is my Sonny. He died on November 26th. He was treated for 3 days outpatient by Dr Maro. I would drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the evening. He was jaundice from a liver tumor and daily got sicker. Every day she would send a tech to my car with details of his day and refuse to talk to us. Daily his treatment was close to or over a thousand dollars. I asked her through the techs was he suffering, was he dying regularly, the answer was no. On the 25th we took Sonny to the Elwood hospital after waiting 2 hours she finally met with us. The first 1/2 hour she discussed her mother and the Covid vaccine when she finally got around to Sonny we asked her where we would be in a week , meaning as a doctor how does she think Sonny is doing? Her response, that's up to you. His blood work was worse yet, his Ultrasound even more bad news. But yet, they sold us $599 worth of herbs. My Sonny had a stroke the next day. No response from Dr Maro. I'm certain that's because there is nothing left to sell us. Zero compassion from this hospital. Everything is about what herb they can sell you. Incidentally, all of these herbs can be purchased for 1/2 of the price on the internet. Google her name. I wish I had before I let her touch my poor dog. She clearly missed the do no harm memo. Cranberry Holistic Pet Care - This is my Sonny - Veterinarians Near Me - Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania

I strongly DO NOT recommend Cranberry Holistic Pet Care. Why? Because while removing my cat Cleo from his carrier for an exam and treatment, they allowed him to get loose and jump into the ceiling -- where he remained for nine days before his eventual escape from the building. This happened because Dr. Jones and the technician assisting did not "follow protocol" according to the owner Dr. Cynthia Maro. The following is the background and sequence of events. Cleo is a semi-feral cat who was trapped, neutered and released the previous year. Over time he became socialized to me, and it was my intention to adopt him following a required veterinary appointment. I called Cranberry Holistic Pet Care, explained that Cleo was semi-feral and they agreed to treat him. When meeting with Dr. Jones prior to treatment, I reiterated that Cleo was semi-feral and should be sedated for his safety and theirs. Within a few minutes of taking Cleo back, Dr. Jones informed me that he had jumped into the ceiling. He advised the best course of action was to set a humane trap and wait it out. The next morning Cleo was still not trapped. I requested a professional trapper to come in and set additional traps; for access to the ceiling to lure him out; and permission to insert my cameras into the ceiling. All requests were met with opposition, and I was told that it would be best to allow him to calm down -- when he got hungry, he would go into the trap. On days three and four, I was told by a manager that Cleo was coming down at night after closing, and they believed he would enter the trap soon. If not, there was a plan in place to have a professional come in to trap him over the holiday weekend if needed. I asked to be called and informed when that was to occur so that I could be present. Instead, on day five I received a text from practice manager Bruce indicating that Cleo was still not trapped and I would be updated later. I drove down to place a note on the door that I wanted to be called the next time -- where I found the owner Dr. Maro waiting for the trapper to arrive. I was finally allowed in and saw a trap in a closet that was uncovered and a stale can of cat food that I had dropped off three days prior (along with my unopened cans). The trapper was unsuccessful in locating Cleo. Dr. Maro stated that Cleo must have escaped between deliveries and/or staff entering and exiting through the back door, despite knowing there was a cat loose in their building. I saw no evidence to suggest Cleo ever came down, so I insisted my cameras be placed into the ceiling -- along with additional traps inside and outside. On days six and seven, I accessed my cameras and saw images and slight movements that I thought to be Cleo. I asked for a home inspector to use infrared heat sensing equipment to examine the building and they agreed. I sent them the images per their request. On day eight, at MY expense, the inspector I hired located Cleo in the soffit area outside of the building and was able to track Cleo running back and forth along the length of the building. Bruce's solution was to cut a section away and release him without an option of securing Cleo. I stated that was unacceptable and it was agreed to insert cameras the next day. The next morning (day nine), I texted Dr. Maro and Bruce stating that for nine days I had been respectful to their practice and their other patients, but Cleo's safe return to me needed to be a top priority. I received no response for two hours. I became very concerned and headed to the office -- where I discovered a section of soffit pulled away. Bruce showed up five minutes later and claimed Cleo's weight must have caused the soffit to break, despite the fact that he had been running through the soffit the previous day with no problems. I directly asked Bruce if he cut the soffit purposefully because it's what he suggested the day before. He became angry and shouted "I am a salaried employee and came down on my personal time to check the traps to try and abide by your wishes." My WISH...was to have left the practice with my cat on the same day as the appointment without incident. Instead Cleo was now left untreated, displaced, and trapped in an unsafe environment between two busy interstates. I understand a mistake can happen, but I feel the events that transpired over the nine days that followed exhibited gross negligence, and a lack of concern and compassion for an animal as one would expect from a veterinary practice. I feel compelled to post my experience for you to decide if this is a practice you would entrust your pet to. Thankfully, this nightmare does have a happy ending. After FOUR weeks of searching, hanging posters, trail cams, humane traps, and many tears....Cleo appeared at my front door! He miraculously found his way home, five miles from the vets office. read more

She's an excellent and compassionate vet and while I also use other vets that are closer to the city for some standard procedures, the only vet I've ever been able to talk to things like NAET/AK, homeopathic and raw food diets with is her....I will see her as long as she's in practice. read more

I would give it zero if I could!!!! a friend of min took her semi feral cat there for treatment & was told they could help. last Wednesday The cat was lost & told it must have got out. Pee marks were appearing on the ceiling They called a trapper no luck after being there for days. Long story short my friend paid a home inspector $200 yesterday & was able to locate where the cat was my friend even brought her own camera's to locate him Bruce & Dr did noy respond so she went this morning & there was a hole cut & was told the cat was gone they are rude defensive & uncaring DoNot take your animal to this vet!! read more

I am so happy that these vets took care of my cat and dog over the past few months. They were kind, wonderful, proactive, and got me in with short notice on 2 separate visits when my own vet wouldn't take us. Not only do they have an amazing number of surgeries and special services which I never thought I would find when I moved here (acupuncture and chiropractic), and tests, they made an accurate and quikc medical diagnosis (I didn't have to go for a referral for my Charlie's CT, because they did it there). And both pets are acting younger and eating healthier foods (who knew that there's so much junk in a lot of pet food?). Charlie and Buster would give them 10 stars each, if they could. read more

I have seen Dr. Wong and Dr. Marco both were extremely nice and explained things very well. They use some great alternative treatments for cats and dogs (that I know of). It can be pricey but they list everything out for you and let you decide how to move forward with treatment for your animal. In my case it has been both cats and a dog. I'm always impressed with the knowledge of the Vets. Also front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. read more

I don't feel welcome there. To me, this is a lot about trust. I was going to be 5 minutes late, so I politely called while on my way to say so, and I am told to basically hurry. that does no good. once you are going to be late, you are going to be late. please do not say or imply to hurry. being there 4 minutes late or 5 minutes late does not matter. So, I get there, and apologize for being late, and do not hear an acknowledgement. But further, I wait 5 minutes before seeing ANYBODY anyway. I also had a bit of a struggle with two dogs, and was asked to weigh them myself. It was not a big deal, but who is the customer here?? I want to feel like a valued customer. This is no cheap endeavor here. You have to spend 200 dollars for an initial consult, and you don't even know if you will like the vet or agree with what they say. I understand doctors get top dollar, but this is pricey and I am sure the going rate. That said, I do like the vet. I am sure she is competent. My wife has told me to follow my gut, and it just doesn't feel right. And oh, by the way, whatever happened to the business saying 'thank you'. I will do my own research to help my dogs And by the way, I am willing to spend whatever it takes to help my dogs, but it won't be here. read more
