I have been going to Radiant for about 2 or 3 years. I see Selena for waxing and Davida for spray tans. The atmosphere at this salon is positive and uplifting there are several "affirmations" on the walls around the studio and uplifting music in the air. Let me start by saying Brazilian waxing is not my favorite thing, it is awkward and personal but Selena's professional, calm disposition puts me at ease. I have followed her from 2 salons because she is that good and worth it. I never have any breakouts after her waxing's. She has been shaping my eyebrows for several years and I absolutely love the way they look. We have the best conversations, which sounds weird, but she is just the kind of person you want to talk to plus she has a photographic memory, NOT KIDDING! She is one of those rare people that is able to recall anything I have told her. It's fun because when I see her I don't even remember what we talked about but she recalls everything and we just continue our conversations from where we left off. I love, love, love Davida too! She does my spray tans. I have fair skin and freckles. She is the only person I have gotten a spray tan from that knows what she is doing. I am never ORANGE or excessively dark. She offers ranges of color and I get the light to medium. No streaks, no polka dots, (some places missed) it's perfect every time. Also, Davida is a firecracker of energy! She is just one of those people that walks into a room and brings the sunshine with her. Loved my experience at Radiant Studios, I have gone to Itan for almost 10 years. They do have more of an "orange tan". The gotti look.. not opposed to that however, at radiant you will get more of a natural tan, but you still get a beautiful golden glow. Davida, my spray specialist always accommodates my needs. I always want to go darker and she makes sure to do just that, but also makes sure my tan doesn't look fake... also tons of different solutions (color) to choose from. Thank you, Davida! I dont normally rate places if I'm disappointed with the services on the 1st experience (I dont find fair) but this isnt a restaurant where you can hope that maybe they were just having a busy or off day this is my hoohaw they dealt with . I went in after reading all the great reviews and was super excited after losing my regular waxer. The girl was sweet and welcoming but did not seem to know how to go about in waxing that area (brazilian). She was just waxing all willy nilly and going over the same parts over and over only to leave the shop with plenty of small hairs still. I could tell I was going to end up with ingrowns, non of my other brazilians ever felt like that. It's as if the hairs were just tearing Sure enough, I am now dealing with SO MANY ingrowns which I've never had to deal with before. The wax felt like super cheap Sally's wax so it might have even been that? ‍ Normally they charge around $48 I believe but they give you half off on your first visit in hopes you go back... I'm really sorry for having to leave such a negative review but my experience there was super disappointing and my hoohaw now feels super uncomfortable. read more
