I recently had a mammogram that revealed there was something wrong. I was so frightened that I could not cope, I could not sleep, I could not even think straight. I thought of those before me who had died from breast cancer. I was also engaged to be married and there was no way I was going to enter into a relationship knowing I was sick. I was thinking of ending my life. I was so upset I went to Radiology Limited to try and talk to someone. The kindness and care that I received from Austin, the manager, and his staff literally saved me. With their help and support I was able to see a way forward that saved my life and gave me hope. My doctor ordered a CT scan, to be done stat. It was faxed at 9:50am. It was close to noon, when I called, the Rep stated she didn't see any orders to call the physician and be sure it was sent. I did and the medical assistant stated it was sent at 9:50am, she shows fax confirmed. I called rad ltd again, waited 20 minutes until I spoke to a schedule rep, she stated nothing has been received, there was nothing she could do, I explained my situation, and she didn't seem to care. I had a radiographic procedure today at Radiology Limited at 4640 E. Fort Lowell. This procedure is not typical and only a few are done daily. The radiographic technician in charge of my case was Alejandro who was knowledgeable, kind, and most professional. He made me feel very comfortable. Due to a rare event that I suffer (completely unrelated to the procedure ) we were unable to complete the procedure in its totality. Alejandro was quick to go into action in caring for me and to get assistance as needed. I have full confidence with this team. Additionally, the front desk staff and the facility manager have been stellar in meeting our needs. Applause to this radiographic team! read more

Guess what? Gave a bad review of RL a year ago. Their 'SCHEDULING OFFICE' sent us to an appointment nearly an hour away. My wife needed a scan, they set it for 6:30 in the morning. Got their 15 minutes early, THE WHOLE MEDICAL BUILDING WAS CLOSED, WE KEPT KNOCKING ON THE DOORS UNTIL 6:40am. My wife is 83, and has hardships. After driving home in rush hour traffic I did the YELP and Google poor reviews. Today her doctor ordered another scan. We called RL Central Scheduling, it was 'TERRIBLE' and guess what??? They have our record of the appointment from a year ago. As I said in past review, the RL SCHEDULING OFFICE responded to the YELP COMPLAINT but not to my wife and I. No apology, nothing... So this scheduler dug into the their mistake and claimed they tried calling us twice to reschedule. They abandoned not being able to reach us. THEIR RECORD THE SCHEDULER READ DID NOT INDICATE THEY HAD LEFT A VOICE MESSAGE. Our phone allows voice messages from all callers, even if they are an 'unknown' caller. But blocks the actual call since it's not in our contacts. That way we can call them back. So this scheduler began this rant on how they do everything possible to fix mistakes. When I asked, "When was the apology letter mailed to us and who from?" It shut her up!!! So much for her defense of RL. It really got under her skin when I told her that I looked up their GOOGLE & YELP REVIEWS A YEAR AGO AND TOLD HER, "2-2.5 stars", "yeah, I should not of even tried again today." So told her we won't need a service from a company like theirs because the DOCTOR/OWNERS had to believe their scheduling staff would attempt to fix things. A terrible deceitful business with staff trying to turn the blame back onto clients by saying we couldn't reach you by phone. I am a retired doctor with a history of multiple cancers who has had relatively positive experiences with Radiology ltd in the past. But no more. The oncologist understandably won't see me until I have scan results ready for his/her review. It's going on 3 days now of waiting for CT results that will determine whether or not I have cancer once again. 3 days! I was told I could request a CD disc, which would take another 5 days of waiting before I could pick it up and take to my doctor myself. 5 days! A CT disc of X-rays can be produced in a few minutes. Waiting time for results is important for better treatment outcomes. Therefore, I will no longer be using Radiology ltd. read more

This is the second time I've come to this location. The customer experience when first arriving is far below the other locations. I walked in and not one person said a word. I waited by the sign while the female at the welcome sign just looked at her computer. She basically ignored me. Finally I said, can I sign in somewhere and she said wait by the sign and I will be with you in a bit. She then went back to her computer. Finally she yelled out, what's your name. After I told her she said sit down and we'll call you up. So here I sit, hoping to get called up. I will go to other locations in the future because the service is better. read more

I went here recently for an MRI. They require masks and when you enter there is a person that gives you a mask without the metal which was nice as I hadn't thought about that. You get checked in and then are called to a booth to give insurance information (even if you pre-register). Seating is taped off so you won't have anyone next to you. I was called in quickly. They have locking changing rooms where I put on the scrubs. You get a locker for your things and wait in another area. It was a short wait. They let me choose music to listen to as they have Pandora which is nice to relax you. You have headphones to wear while you are given the test. I kept my eyes closed as I don't like closed spaces but music was appreciated. When I was finished they offered a bottle of water. The personnel were pleasant and nice. They have a patient portal where you can check on results. read more

After a long process to schedule a US arterial doppler where I was at a Rad location and still had to call on the phone to schedule it ( don't know why the lady there couldn't do it) I showed up at 7:12 for my appointment at the Alvernoon location, paid the fee and while waiting the same receptionist comes to me to let me know that they dont do these types of test. Too quick to charge but too slow to knlw what type of services your business and can not do. Mind you at least 3 different people Looked at the order. Very basic. Then the redund takes time to get to ones account. What if that is all I had ? Train your staff better and be more interested in the patients than in collecting $. read more

Highly recommend coming here!!! I am not one that enjoys doing anything medically wise. Normally doctors, and clinics for x-rays, eyes or anything else seem to be a long waste of time. Not the case here at this location, the check-in was fast and efficient and the X-ray technician was friendly and pleasant. Kind of like he knew that professional courtesy starts with treating the customer right and not acting like a rude know-it-all and making you feel dumb for just being there. I think I was in and out in like 30min ... I wish more businesses would follow your lead. I did not have to deal with the billing department ... from what I have read here on other posts, it looks like it might need to take a lesson from your other departments. If you're looking for timely accurate readings of any imaging - RUN RUN RUN in the other direction. I had an x-ray taken which clearly showed a broken bone WITH a fragment on the image. The "radiologist" said the report was "normal" and went on to say that there was "no acute fracture." The technician saw it and commented, though being clever to offer the verbage of "I'm not a doctor, but this is abnormal." I've since had others confirm the broken bone. When I reported this back to Radiology ltd, I was first ignored for weeks, then dismissed and then assigned chores at my own expense (time and financial). No one here cares! Go elsewhere. I pursued this to the top levels disbelieving that any employer would knowingly keep an unskilled person on staff. I was wrong, they just don't care and had no interest in making things right. 7 people check in at front desk 730am sharp when Rad LTD opens. Only 2 of 7 called back before 8:05am when I get called back. Poorly run office disrespectful of patient time. Why were we instructed to be there at 730am when staff starts seeing patients at 8am? The human factors/wait times need serious improvement. read more

From scheduling to the Radiologist I was impressed. I come from 18 years in the Medical field and my last 8 years were in Radiology. Everyone was efficient and very kind. Being new to Tucson and having to find all new everything, especially anything medical is difficult in the best of circumstances so in times like this I appreciate my experience today being perfect. if I could give this place zero stars, I would. I had an abdominal ultrasound scheduled which required fasting. no food no water. when I arrived, I was informed my appointment was cancelled 4 days prior due to an error on their part. no phone call, no text, no email to inform me. The lady behind the desk then asked if I would like to reschedule for 1pm the same day.... for a procedure that requires you to fast without water and food. of course I said no. their service was horrendous and quite infuriating. no accountability on their part. I received a bill for my ultrasound mammogram. I sent them the payment. I received another bill. When I called they had no idea what was going on. Finally they told me it would take 7 to 10 days to check on the account. After I insisted on someone checking sooner they called me back to say I could disregard the bill. The techies were fabulous and kind. They knew what they were doing. The front office staff was horrible. I'm about to travel and needed an MRI today or would have to wait a month. I was waiting for the preauthorization from my ortho and he had not sent notes over yet. There are two options # 1 is I want the procedure and will pay if my insurance does not or #2 is I will pay and do not bill my insurance. I marked # 1 and they refused service stating if I wanted it today it would have to be box #2 Asked for a manager and a director and they were all combative - they have to put it on there as options but there are none - they just want the money and don't want to deal with insurance if they think your in enough pain to pay it .. They need some training in legalities of their services..also some customer service training could benefit the front office staff. read more

Let me start by saying I have no love for Radiology way, way to many bad experiences at their Wilmot office but mom needed to go. I called yesterday and spoke to CC who was awesome (first surprise), she had an opening at the Camp Lowell location for 820 this morning so I said we would take it. We arrived at 812 and parked right out front. Parking was tight with not many available spaces but we were lucky. When we walked in the lady at the front desk was fixing a sign that a loose child had broken. His father was standing near by and told the child not to break or touch it again. The woman greeted us and inquired of my mom's first name. She asked us to be seated and said she'd be right over. A few minutes later she came over with a tablet and checked my mom in right there and then! While she's checking mom in, I notice the loose child who is at least 4 has disappeared behind the main greeting desk and appears to be getting into something... all the while his father is chatting on the phone. The lady returns to the desk and shoo's the child out. A moment later he's back behind the desk. A technician comes and gets my mom at 835, and our appointment isn't until 840! As mom is walking back with the tech the little boy is now kicking the partial wall that separates where you walk in and where you can sit down at a terminal and check in with pretty good force. His dad just watches and continue to talk on the phone. After about eight good kicks, the receptionist lady says to the little boy, "Honey, what are you doing to our wall? Please don't kick it." He continues to kick the wall with no input from his father. About three minutes later the man stands up and tells his son to come on. The little boy kicks the wall two more times and trots off after his dad. My mom comes out at 850 and I ask her if everything is ok. She said she's done! We are out of there. AMAZING! read more

They never answer their phone, so you have to leave a message. Messages don't get returned. After the 11th day, I got a return phone call, but guess what, I wasn't available. Starting with getting an appointment over the phone to the check-in process and ending with the MRI...everyone was very nice and professional. Avoid them at all costs. They'll charge you $400 up front even though your insurance is telling them that you have a zero deductible and the insurance will cover the entire test - just in case. But don't worry, they assure you they'll refund it later when the claim processes, however long that takes. Hope you didn't need that money to feed your children or pay the rent. read more
