This is the first time I've been to this location. Generally, I go to the location that's near Northwest hospital on the northwest side of Tucson. Prior to my appointment radiology unlimited had me register ahead of time with my ID and insurance information, pay my co-pay estimate online ahead of time. Radiology Unlimited sent me Automated Reminders two days ahead of time and the night before by text message and automated call program. The text included the location address, check in time, and procedure protocol; to make sure I was going to the right location. Once I arrived, I just needed to sign a document to verify everything I had filled out ahead of time online. I was called within 2 to 3 minutes of signing that document digitally. My procedure was in and out no fuss.

After I left, they later told me that they had made a mistake. When I returned to have the remaining X-rays done, they couldn't even find the original order in their system, and my doctor had to send a completely new order. Today when I came back again, I was told that X-rays are walk-in only. Despite that, I waited for over an hour and a half. While I was still waiting, they took another patient who arrived about 40 minutes after I did. When I brought this to their attention and complained about the situation, the staff showed very little concern and did not seem to care about resolving the issue. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Not completing the doctor's order the first time, losing the paperwork, and then making patients wait excessively while taking others ahead of them is extremely frustrating. I hope the facility improves its organization and patient care so others don't have to go through the same experience.

What I love about them, is the ease in making appointments (you can make your next years appointment at the current appointment), pre-check-in processes, and the efficiency once you are actually at your appointment. Date of service: 2/9/2026, 9 am. Despite having a bit of scanxiety, this has been a positive environment. I feel seen and respected, unlike another imaging group I've seen in Tucson. As a breast cancer patient who will be being scanned on the regular for recurrence, I was anxious about this 1 year scan. Ultimately, I feel very good about the treatment & quality of care. If you know where the Trader Joe's is on Campbell, go ahead and turn into their parking lot and go to the back right where you'll see a separate building where Banner Advanced Imaging is located. Good parking close to front door. TLDR: Quality, caring staff. Excellent facility. Highly recommend. Disability accessible throughout.
