Really helpful, with a huge selection. Will be back now that I know they either have what I need or they will get it for me. I came in today (Sunday) around 12:40pm and I get similar treatment every time I'm in there. I am a femme presenting person and they all treat me like I don't exist and usually leave the interaction with the cashier being made to feel stupid. I see them having full on conversations with people and then when I come up to purchase something, I'm treated like I don't know what I'm doing and not paid attention to, even when I am right in front of them checking out. And on multiple occasions have been met with a similar experience from the cashier. Today I found myself standing waiting to be rung up, while the employee at the counter attended solely to a patron going through a binder of mtg cards. I recognize a need for supervision and attention required for customers reviewing the card catalogue. However, my partner and I stood for some time waiting to be helped without so much of a check in to let us know if we need assistance or otherwise. In the future a quick "i'll be with you momentarily" could suffice. Additionally, once we are finally asked if we are checking out the cashier proceeds to split his attention between us and the customer with the binder. So much so that my partner and I spend unnecessary moments trying to make our purchase using Apple Pay when the machine needed to be reset. Ultimately, our dissatisfaction comes from a lack of consideration to all customers in the store. I recognize my purchases may not be as lucrative as those who play mtg or 40k. But I would hope my continued patronage would be worth some standard shared across the btg staff. This is not my experience every time but is certainly not the first. However, I do hope the next time I visit to be a more courteous one.

After waiting beyond the expected timeframe, I called once to check on the status of my order. Instead of receiving assistance, the person on the phone seemed irritated that I was simply asking for an update. I am not asking for free parts or special treatment -- I am paying for my items. As a customer, it is completely reasonable to expect clear communication and respectful service, especially when an order is delayed. It's frustrating to feel like I'm inconveniencing staff by checking on something I paid for. I drive 30-40 minutes to support this store and was even planning to purchase a new X-Maxx, but after this experience, I've decided not to move forward with that purchase. For comparison, I've had consistently positive experiences at HobbyTown, where the staff is helpful, respectful, and willing to assist customers -- especially those who are newer to the hobby. That level of professionalism makes a big difference and is the reason I'm more inclined to continue spending my money there. Customer service matters. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because the way customers are treated directly impacts whether they return or take their business elsewhere.

Really great hobby shop for all things trains. They have an amazing selection of trains, including all different gauges, also miniature buildings, animals, people and everything else for your trains set. We didn't have an opportunity to stay too long so I'll be back to take a more in depth look in the near future. The staff are very helpful and super knowledgeable so come with questions and leave with answers. They also have a display with several trains set up with buttons for people to try to see what lights up or makes sound. The trains were not moving while we were there and they were kind of busy in the lead up to Christmas so we didn't ask to have them running, but I'm sure they would have turned them on if we had asked.

A brick and mortar store that you hope will never shut its doors. They sell many unique toys,…read moremodels, and trains, perfect for 5-12 year old birthdays or arrested 40 somethings. They recently cleaned up a little so it's less overwhelming and looks more like a store than a hoarder's wet dream. The employees are lovely on the first floor. They are sometimes just as lovely on the second floor. It's a destination worthy place and they need to sell t-shirts.
