I had to call them to be told when my print was done because they did not alert me. When I got to the store to pick them up and they showed me them they had left their fingerprints and dirt all over the glass and never even cleaned the glass. These were things I had wanted on my wall for Thanksgiving and the girl knew that when I handed them over to be reminded framed. I told her I couldn't accept that with the fingerprints all over the inside and outside of the glass and that they needed to clean the glass. I was a bit incredulous that I would actually have to tell a picture framer that! When I called in today I talked to Taylor again and was told that she couldn't be bothered with this until at least Monday, and she's not scheduled to be in production in the framing shop until then, 4 days later. This is an order that they botched by not following through and cleaning the glass. And this is an order they're not standing behind and fixing in a timely manner. I called back to speak to the manager. However the same girl Taylor answered and she hung up on me. Moral of this lesson? Never get your pictures framed at Michael's anymore, if you want quality and prompt service

Be sure to give them a call to schedule your visit. They are only allowing 2 people in at a time to ensure social distancing. Their collection of yarn is phenomenal. This ain't Joann's. Expect to pay a pretty penny for some high quality yarn (which, those of us that knit and crochet are already used to). If they don't have something you want, they can get it for you. And they have patterns galore! Lora was doing larger group classes and they had a regular group coming there before COVID hit. Now she does private classes for 1-2 people at a time. Classes are $25 per 1 hour session and sessions are as needed. They do Monday through Saturday private classes. The loveable cat Daisy is very sweet and helps make the place feel welcoming.

I've slowly come back into doing cross-stitch and it's been tough to find a local store with supplies, designs, and hand-dyed floss and fabric. There were a few kits at Reddi-Arts prior to their closure, but I haven't found much that isn't, at least, an hour drive away now. While the cross-stitch/embroidery section was a bit smaller than I hoped, I was excited to find some great Satsuma Street designs, some hand-dyed thread, and some different fabrics that were available. I definitely could come by with a floss color key and gather all I need for any project. I didn't get a chance to fully explore the books or even get into where the majority of PV Arts & Crafts fabric is held, but I'm looking forward to my next trip to delve in even more. As I was on my lunch, I didn't have too much time to poke around further into the store, so I'll have to make a return trip when I don't have a time restriction. This is a spot that is much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside, and everyone would benefit for having some time to explore.
