This is actually a review of the cafeteria at the San Dimas community Hospital. You just asked the…read morefront desk if you could go in and visit the cafeteria they give you a pass. They are always friendly and the food is great. Definitely call for hours. They're open for breakfast and lunch and they have a good selection. The cooks prepare a variety of items to choose from. I usually go down and pick up breakfast on days that I don't want to cook. The prices can't be beat. They also offer free soda, fountain, and coffee and tea. We've always been pleased with everything that we've gotten there from breakfast burritos to specialty lunch items. If you're in the community, check out the San Dimas community hospitals cafeteria. We were discharged after 3 days and they gave no answers as to the symptoms. Only thing they said was to go straight to surgery. Why surgery when nothing was found in the Ultrasound, MRI, and CT Scan? Oh I know why...wo the doctor can bill you and collect from your insurance...thats why! The entirety of stay was deep down disgusting (bedsheets had blood stains and another had some kind of yellowish stain), power outages a and broken call remote, and nurses that can not give you answers or reassurance. I don't know, but this place downright nees to reevaluate their staff. Yes, and when submitting for your medical records, don't trust what's on the discharge papers or whatever paper they give you...the email address they provide is WRONG! Now the release of medical record will be delayed indefinitely unless you call them personally to check in the status. They will tell you to resubmit. I have so much more to say and share, but just STAY AWAY! Their website say they are known for their "family-like environment"...from my experience...eh... no. If you want quality care, professionalism, and professional doctors that REALLY CARE, go elsewhere...anywhere but Dan Dimas Community. There is a reason why I'm posting this. He told me to buy new shoes. He wanted to schedule a follow up appt which I quickly declined. He doesn't listen to what you're telling him. Had to repeat myself several times September 2024 I visited Dr Oghoorian at pacific foot and ankle. He diagnosed my issue as being a neuroma inside three minutes without the use old fancy equipment. I am now receiving treatment and am on the road to being pain free. I feel ripped off going to Dr Goldblatt. He doesn't have a clue about very common conditions. I question his competency. On July 1, my father, who was on hospice for advanced cancer, was rushed there by ambulance because he was experiencing severe stomach pain. Despite being in obvious distress, he waited over an hour in the emergency room before being placed in a room. He was never admitted to the hospital. Once the staff learned he was on hospice, it felt as though they had already decided there was nothing worth doing. He was given morphine and an X-ray of his stomach, but no other treatment options or interventions were discussed with our family. The physician was dismissive and repeatedly implied that because my father was on hospice, there wasn't much to do. We understand what hospice means, but every patient deserves compassion, dignity, and thoughtful medical care. The lack of empathy from the staff was devastating. When my mother asked a nurse why more morphine was being given after my father was already unconscious and heavily sedated, she was met with an attitude instead of understanding. After my father passed away, the physician who informed our family delivered the news in a cold, detached manner, even suggesting that because he was on hospice, this outcome was expected. No family should have to receive such heartbreaking news without compassion. What hurts the most is not just that my father died there, but the way our family was treated during his final hours. We will always wonder if he would have received more compassionate care had the ambulance taken him to Kaiser, where he had always been treated with dignity and respect. I hope no other family has to experience what we did. During the most vulnerable moments of a person's life, kindness, empathy, and respect matter just as much as medical treatment.
