[[HIGHLIGHT]]It was loud when we walked in Raffurty's, the music turned up high.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside wasn't as large as I expected, the area oddly shaped so there were not many tables to go with a large bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Much of the seating is instead outside, both covered and some picnic tables uncovered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was easy to imagine this would be a standout place on Main St when they are busy. It was not very busy when we were there for lunch[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. For my lunch I tried their Reuben Sandwich, which was very flavorful. You could really taste the corned beef. Delicious and a little messy, I was very happy with my choice. Once we were done it took too long to pay and leave, which resulted in a less than desirable ending to an otherwise great lunch choice. I should mention they offer lunch specials during the week, we were there on a Sunday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A cool place to hang out with indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are super friendly and attentive. The drinks are good and the food isnt bad. I would recommend the cucumber margarita but pass on the nachos trio as it is a but bland. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This bar is pretty cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has TVs. It looks like a great place to watch a game.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I popped in here for lunch. The wings were fried really good and the sauces that came with were very good. The tater tots are fried really well and my husband got a taco shell thing that was actually pretty good as well.The taco meal came with a shot which the server forgot so make sure you remind them! read more

Had a great night here last night! Of all our visits to Main St. not sure why this place hasn't been on our radar. For a "Bar & Grill" the food is wonderful!! We had an assortment from fish & chips, sandwiches & yummy shrimp tacos! Everything was delicious & eaten up. Good drinks. Service was on point! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Live music on the patio. They had a young super fun band outside which is where we spent our night even though inside seems like a cool vibe too[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We stopped in for food & drinks but stayed because of the band. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only downside is they should have cleared a couple tables by the stage bc while we did get some moves in, we would've liked to go up & dance ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fun Friday we'll definitely go back when they have the live band again ! read more

This spot is a gem!! We always have a great time here, you can't get a bad bartender here! Seriously fast drinks even when it's packed. The food was sooooo good too, it was like eating at a restaurant but faster! Also need that food to keep the night going, and they served food late too! read more

Possibly the worst bar in America. They heavily promote as a University of Michigan bar, including staff wearing Michigan gear. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But the Duke basketball game was on most of the tvs, at full volume.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked the manager ( possibly the owner) what was going on and he proceeded to scold me for my impertinence, following me back to my table demanding that I be polite. I subsequently waited 45 minutes for a hamburger that tasted like a hockey puck, couldn't get a beer, then [[HIGHLIGHT]]ended up walking through piss water in the men's room from an overflowed toilet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more

was there sat for kareoke the person that turned in there song right before me sang but yet 14 singers later i still did not sing then they started allowing people that already sang to sing again ...im not an asshole but i would like to sing at least once ....but the people that pay to move ahead get in as many times as they want to pay thats great for the d.j but it screws over the other customers that come in to sing and have drinks i was there 3 hours and did not get 1 song in and by the time he said he put me in for kareoke would have been over anyways... so i wont be back for kareoke so thats 50 bucks of drinks from the bar and 10 bucks tip that wont be coming back all so the d.j could line his pockets with cash " read more

Had a great time today. The barkeep was incredible. She held down tables, bar patrons, a visiting dog, and my bad humor. She laughed at every joke, and that is not easy. I enjoyed sitting outside watching the four 40" tvs with games of March Madness Then there was the extra help she had, the guy continually stopped by, checked on the 8 tables outside while running around clearing tables and changing tvs inside and out. Great service!!! But that is not part of the review. For the review I had the fish fry. Let me say it was a good fry. Fish was excellent, paired with well salted fries too. Closed early. Deliberately ran to the door and locked it on us as we were walking towards it. Just wanted to watch the end of the World Series. They saw us watching from outside and shut the tv off and smiled at us. As we walked off they unlocked the door and screamed at us that they close at midnight and to leave them alone. It was 11:45. I am a local. Have always heard bad things about the place. This is 2 blocks from my house and I will never go there again. This is 10/27. The workers need to be fired. read more

Amazing drinks and food receptive management. Taylor upstairs went way beyond to make sure we were taken care of and super satisfied with drink and food. Kiddos for this amazing place we will definitely be back to. Bonus is you like Mc Cudusys should tray it out after a show!!!!!!!!! DJ very grateful with a wide play list and super nice. So they were doing trivia and it was VERY loud but quite entertaining. It took a minute to get a servers attention no one said hi when we walked in or anything so I think they could work on that I mean just to acknowledge that somebody sees you and will attend to you shortly. The Caesar salad was ok for me it just had way too much dressing. Chicken strips were fresh and fries so you can tell their stuff is not frozen processed crap. So that's a plus. Overall we had an enjoyable experience and I would go back again. read more

Great bar - lots of TVs, great staff, fun crowd but the food was horrendous. Tried the Lombardi cheese curds - very misleading name and not edible. Pizza was small, no flavor, and undercooked - better off eating a frozen pizza at home. Would never eat there again but would visit for the bar. read more

This visit was prompted by meeting a new work colleague and friends that were visiting Florida and staying in Tampa. Sarasota was a good mid-point to meet. Raffurty's Bar & Grill has indoor and outdoor seating. Our party of four sat outside and ordered a selection of typical bar food and drinks. Everything was better than average with stand-outs being the Macho Nachos with Chicken and the Cheese Curds. My husband is selective regarding anything cheese, so the Cheese Curds getting his approval is noteworthy. Service was good. The environment was good. We didn't notice live music during the two hour visit on Friday but we've heard it happens regularly. We would definitely go back. read more

Cool sports bar for football games. The atmosphere inside and out is awesome. You see t shirts and jerseys from all over the country which I like. People with different tastes all getting along drinking a few and eating pretty good food. Plenty of outdoor seating but the inside was pretty packed. If you want an inside seat you should show up before football games are on. Plenty of TVs outside with all the games on. Bags set up outside to play. Friendly wait staff and good food. read more

First time at this bar at this great Eagles bar. Wings were awesome and pretzel bits beer cheese were awesome. The two girls behind the bar were awesome and took care of the whole place all by themselves. Met the owner, and he was even cleaning up tables and helping out. A must go to for any game, or just having a drink and really good food and service. read more

First time at Raffurty's and definitely won't be my last! Our group had the top floor last night and we all were amazed at this place! Fabulous bar area with lots of tables and A/C plus a gorgeous outdoor area too with sofas and a fire pit! Food was great and lots of selection. Terrific service and attentive staff all around. We loved the atmosphere and totally enjoyed the live band! And to top it off, a free parking garage attached! Raffurty's has it all. Loved this place! read more

We enjoyed a FANTASTIC rehearsal dinner in the Treehouse space at Raffurty's Bar and Grill. The food and drinks were great, the bartenders were friendly, and our guests enjoyed spending the evening on the outdoor terrace. Raffurty's allowed us to drop off flowers early that day and they even set up a microphone and speaker for our friends and family to give speeches. The Raffurty's team was totally accommodating. Awesome spot--I'm glad our wedding planner recommended it to us! read more

Love it here. The owner and staff are always really nice and "On the move" You can hang out by the bar or outside tables . Also pretty seating and light outside upstairs . All different age groups /. Just a nice feel to it. Also food and drinks not over priced and they are always doing something new. On Main st ( across from a parking garage -if you need that) and easy to walk around the neighborhood. read more

Hi everyone! We had our baby shower last weekend at Raffurty's "Big House South" Bar & Grill and I couldn't say more about our positive experience! Karl and Lianna went above and beyond to make everything run seamlessly and beautifully. It was a perfect day and we're so grateful for their excellent service, great food, and private treehouse location on the second story of the restaurant, which accommodated our large group so comfortably. Shamrock is a soccer-focused pub and is probably Ground Zero for big tournaments. My only suggestion would be to have plastic bags on hand for those of us who did carryout (five sandwiches + chips). The sandwiches were very tasty!

We enjoyed a couple of beers and although there was sound background music playing, it wasn't TOO loud to have a conversation, like a lot of bars (at least in Miami). There's no food at Growler's, but the bartender suggested that we order from one of the nearby restaurants and have them bring it over. We ended up leaving to eat, explore a bit, and then return to Growler's later that night for some live music. However, we did see some people order food and the restaurant nextdoor walked the food right over. Around 9 or so, a couple of bands started playing. It seems like a pretty cool place where new artists can get a start. One of the women who played said it was her first show ever. The bands were pretty good and the bar started to fill up as the night progressed. If we return to Sarasota, we'll hit Growler's up again for a laid back night.

The sushi is incredible, the presentation is beautiful, and you can tell how much thought goes into the entire experience.
