Bar food can be unexpectedly good sometimes though I don't think this qualifies as bar food. I think this place is a restaurant with a full bar (two actually, North Point) and a back room for live music. They also have an outside patio and soundstage for music as well. The decor is standard bar fare with several large TVs, though only on one side and the back of the bar (if you sit on the other side, you don't have any TVs facing you, mild complaint). The staff is fast, friendly and efficient. Dinner on a Friday night at 6:00pm will have you waiting a little longer than you might be used to but that's to be expected. My friend got the Cuban slider which he liked a lot and the tuna slider which he thought was okay. He thought the pineapple overpowered the tuna's flavor. The fries were done perfectly and he ordered two mixed drinks that were poured properly. I had the Cuban slider which was tasty, the pork on it had been smoked which I hadn't had in a Cuban before (chef's kiss). I love my Cuban sandwiches but the American slider was a whole other level. The burger, the cheese, the onions were all cooked to perfection but the balsamic vinegar sauce on it was unreal. It's the best burger I've had since The Knockout at Hurley Huddle in Mississippi. The only disappointment was the Mac n cheese side. The texture was just short of ideal as it wasn't quite gooey enough with the melted cheese. The flavor though fell flat. Just mac with cheese sauce - it didn't taste salted at all and I saw no black flecks in it for pepper. There's nothing wrong with that if you use something other than white American cheese for the sauce, without it though, the sauce lacks any substantive flavor. In and of itself, it was okay, compared to the sliders though, it was surprising that it didn't have a better flavor. I say 4 1/2 out of 5 stars if I could rate it that way, but since I can't, 4 will do. But I definitely will be back, those sliders are something else and I have about a dozen more to try (you mix n match single sliders when you order and the sides are separate). read more

I loved the vibe in this place. It was very chill with a wide age range of folks enjoying their day. Me and my husband went with the 3 sliders each. We also had cheese curds to share. I had the CBRT, the Ruben and the Cod. My husband had CBRT, the Ruben, Chicken & Biscuit. They were all really but. For me I loved the Cod the best. The cheese curds were perfect. No cheese leakage. The only thing I wish there was more of was sauces. All the things we had contained very limited amounts of sauce. For starters the pickle spears were so crispy. And in more of a panko breading than a batter. Definitely could tell they were made in house. The sliders. OMG !! We got a Cuban a crabby and a tuna. The Cuban was delish ! The crabby was so full of crab meat !! And the tuna wow just wow it was perfectly seared and pink in the middle still. Delish !! Also had fries and slaw. Both were spot on. Unique approach to sliders and foodies will be delighted. Not sure which sliders we like the best so we always order quite a selection and share. Ahi Tuna is perfectly prepared. Very interesting combos and plating is lovely. These sliders are BIG and I can't quite eat two of them unless I'm really hungry. Husband can eat all three though! In from a large city. This food was spectacular. My teenage son had 3 different sliders, all of which he declared delicious, plus the Big Mac smashed taco which he also loved. I had Pulled Pork Avocado toast which was filling and fun. The waitress was super cool. If I lived in Cedar Rapids I would visit here often to try all the different things on this creative menu. The room itself is low-key like any bar and grill, with the TVs showing sports. The vibe is pleasant here and I was more than pleased. Each slider on the menu is served as one slider, but they are sliders so get a few. Don't worry about the price . Heard this place was pretty good, so came on a Thursday night to check it out. Thursdays are all day $3 domestic tall boys, wells, and seltzers. Your typical beer selection - nothing too special - just the regular stuff you see everywhere. The slider/food options are pretty wide spread. For the sliders there are biscuits, potato buns, and pretzel buns. They ask that you don't make changes to the sliders and personally I don't think you need to. Beef sliders, chicken (grilled and breaded) sliders, seafood sliders, and pork sliders. I got the chicken and biscuits with jalapeño honey. It was pretty good. They said the chicken is hand breaded and you can tell. There is a huge crunch factor and I'd recommend. I also tried the Sugar Teet with peaches and balsamic glaze and the Muenster slider with the fried onions and tomato jam - both different, but very good. There were several that looked appetizing so it was hard to choose. I would say the average eater only needs two, but if you're feeling hungry get three and share sides. They are bigger than your average slider and border on being a sandwich. Something I wasn't upset with. Everyone inside seemed to be having a good time. It's connected to North Point, so you can hear some voices from there. Overall cool concept and there's something for everyone including all day breakfast. How their kitchen is able to remember all the ingredients we will never know. They must have some great cheat sheets. Go check them out! read more

Love this concept! Mix and match sliders - options of 1 - 2 or 3 sliders! I enjoyed a Raspberry Brie burger and the chicken and biscuit. Really like them both, but wish the biscuit was warm - mine was cold to the touch and a little dry. I also enjoyed a side of fries - perfectly seasoned! Drink options are fun - I wanted a blueberry Basil smash, however they did not have basil so wasn't available. I then went with a draft beer (3 options on tap!) - I only received about 3/4ths of a pint as they ran out of my sour. A little bummed as it was good and would have loved a second one? Service was good - they accidentally mixed our order up with someone else at first so our sides went to their table. Our sides then came out after we finished our sliders. Had a meal catered from here and did their slider boxes for a birthday party! Food was amazing, ready on time, great service, and very fair price. We couldn't stay for a drink but definitely a chill place. Great setup with lots of tvs, outdoor patio seating and fireplaces. Would be a great place to catch a game or party into the night. Great place and love the concept. They have a number of unique burger, chicken, pork, seafood and biscuit sliders that you can mix and match. I tried the Muenster Jam slider and it was even better than I thought it would be. I also tried the Big Mac and Gouda smashed tacos (trying to cut carbs), again they hit it out of the park. The fries were perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The service was just as great as the food. The staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable on the menu and children friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my family. I've been waiting for a place like this in Cedar Rapids for a long time. I can definitely see this as a place that sticks around and my children will bring their children 20 years down the road for lunch.
