My mother has a legally recognized service dog in Massachusetts, so we didn't anticipate any issues. We spent about 15 minutes browsing and had items we intended to purchase. When my mother's back started hurting, I grabbed her small dog to help. At that point, two employees approached us in an aggressive and confrontational manner, demanding to know why she had the dog and insisting it needed to leave. The way this was handled was extremely upsetting and, frankly, humiliating, especially toward an elderly customer with anxiety in the first place. Rather than addressing the situation respectfully, we felt singled out and surrounded while simply trying to shop. I ended up taking the dog out to the car, and we left shortly after. Unfortunately, this experience completely overshadowed what should have been a simple visit. Between the high prices and the way customers are treated, I would strongly recommend choosing one of the many other thrift stores in the area. Compassion and basic respect go a long way, and this was a very disappointing experience.

I have stood at the counter 25 minutes waiting to return a purchase and the manager was unbelievably slower and had to ask an employee for help to do the return. Total time wasted? 35 minutes! Will not do it again!!!

Someone in the store had enough and tried to correct the man, she spoke plainly but matter of factly. The man grew flustered, screaming at her, chasing her down the street to call her a "liberal" and a "Karen". This woman had a small child with her, it was really gross to see him accost her after she had already left. The people working at the store kept loudly calling him a "customer" even though he was just stationed at the door, not looking around or shopping. Doesn't seem very Christian to berate women with children over something so trivial. It made everyone in the store uneasy. I'm sure that woman won't be back, I won't be back, I saw several people put their things down and file out of the store.

The main reason for the sales though, that I could see, was that the price point here is much higher for similar items you could find at other vintage shops. Staff very friendly and informative, clean, packed with great stuff, just a high price point keeps this place from being stellar. I thought it'd be a small 'hole in the wall' type place! Boy was I wrong! I barely made it through 1/3 of it before I had to leave and go to my appointment. This place had sooo many cool things in separate booths... think flea market type set-up. Most of the items were antique things but they had a good many modern things, as well. The biggest differences between this store and a flea market is a simple fact that each booth was nicely arranged and meticulously clean. The staff were all extremely kind and very jovial. We laughed a lot while just shooting the breeze as complete strangers! It's amazing the commonalities people have across several generations. The staff here easily reminded me of that very fact! Prices are very affordable here. For that reason, I am excited to have found another place to escape everyday responsibilities and look for that one specific thing that I just have to have! So I went up there to see if I could get my money back and they keep saying so and so is not here today and that only CSM which is Britany can do it. Still waiting for my money they stole.
