My mother has a legally recognized service dog in Massachusetts, so we didn't anticipate any issues. We spent about 15 minutes browsing and had items we intended to purchase. When my mother's back started hurting, I grabbed her small dog to help. At that point, two employees approached us in an aggressive and confrontational manner, demanding to know why she had the dog and insisting it needed to leave. The way this was handled was extremely upsetting and, frankly, humiliating, especially toward an elderly customer with anxiety in the first place. Rather than addressing the situation respectfully, we felt singled out and surrounded while simply trying to shop. I ended up taking the dog out to the car, and we left shortly after. Unfortunately, this experience completely overshadowed what should have been a simple visit. Between the high prices and the way customers are treated, I would strongly recommend choosing one of the many other thrift stores in the area. Compassion and basic respect go a long way, and this was a very disappointing experience.

This appeared to be the case throughout the shoppe even though multiple vendors sell here. A smaller-sized home, it has been converted & wonderfully transformed into a vintage shoppe. Within the six or so rooms, visitors will find vinyl albums; vintage clothing (one full room of it); many jewelry displays for men & woman; dishware & serving pieces; wall art; home decor; lamps; MCM furniture; & much more. Parking spots on busy San Marco Avenue are few & far between, but there is plenty of free parallel parking along the many side streets. (Probably the best parking is directly behind the building.) Best to avoid this area around dinnertime. It took us a great deal of time to leave the crowded area. I suggest visiting @ other times to avoid the heavy traffic. And you have to browse slowly because there are so many items and you don't want to miss something. I spent some time in the clothing section. There were lots of jean jackets, t-shirts, dresses, cowboy boots and purses. I found A New Orleans t-shirt that was my favorite color, blue. Bonus, I even found some birthday gifts. You will also find lots of artwork, furniture, lamps, kitchen items, toys and some obscure things you probably haven't seen in 20 or 30 years. The whole back section of the building was nothing but books. So if you're a bookworm here's a new spot. The store opened in 2020 and just celebrated 6 years this month. I thought it'd be a small 'hole in the wall' type place! Boy was I wrong! I barely made it through 1/3 of it before I had to leave and go to my appointment. This place had sooo many cool things in separate booths... think flea market type set-up. Most of the items were antique things but they had a good many modern things, as well. The biggest differences between this store and a flea market is a simple fact that each booth was nicely arranged and meticulously clean. The staff were all extremely kind and very jovial. We laughed a lot while just shooting the breeze as complete strangers! It's amazing the commonalities people have across several generations. The staff here easily reminded me of that very fact! Prices are very affordable here. For that reason, I am excited to have found another place to escape everyday responsibilities and look for that one specific thing that I just have to have! Can't wait to take my extended family to this new 'treasure' that I found!
