Stopped by Now and Then Mall this past weekend, and almost purchased a couple items. I had my eyes on a globe and an old Planet of The Apes board game from the 70s. Regardless of what you're into for collectibles, you'll probably find it here. It's is packed with different vendors and collectibles of all kinds. There were also a ton of sales going on. The main reason for the sales though, that I could see, was that the price point here is much higher for similar items you could find at other vintage shops. Staff very friendly and informative, clean, packed with great stuff, just a high price point keeps this place from being stellar. This place had a lot to take in, a little overwhelming for me and not well organized. I also felt many of the prices were high which probably explained why so many booths had "sales". We didn't buy anything, due to prices not being a good value. read more

Decided to stop by here this weekend while visiting our sailor at Mayport Naval Base. We were greeted at the door and had a conversation with the ladies behind the counter before leaving. The place has a good number of antiques, including quite a few things I had never seen before. The temperature is on point, as most other places have a problem balancing the space and keeping you comfortable while perusing, which was probably due to the high ceilings. When we arrived, the place did seem as if it had a top floor, but it does not and even though walking through is manageable, there are some tight turns, along with nooks and crannies, which may hinder a person with a wheelchair from enjoying their products. These were the only two reasons why I rated them 4 stars and suggest they consider relocating to a larger place to branch out, as even I had a hard time seeing everything they had without worrying about breakage. Unfortunately, I only found one item I had to have, but ended up putting it back after realizing it had a little damage. Either way, I do recommend you stop by and have a look. read more

We've visited a few times and this place is ok, but we won't be visiting again after our experience today. As we were leaving the store an older man, who was working there taunted my one year old daughter saying you're going to get wet haha, you're going to get wet (due to it raining) and followed us out the door looking right at her and laughing about it. It scared my daughter and felt really creepy as we rushed out the door. The other person on staff even told him to stop and back off, as my wife said, "Why is he following us." - We will not be returning. read more

Now and Then is an antique mall with over 20 vendors, located in a shopping center next to Yum, a Southern Market. Curiosity got the best of me and I ventured inside after I purchased some treats from Yum. I'm a fan of vintage keepsake Christmas ornaments, along with Norman Rockwell and Thomas Kinkade Christmas collectibles, so I never pass up an opportunity to browse a good antique shop. I was pleased with the setup, and enjoyed wandering the multitude of rooms that held items of all categories for sale from local vendors. It was nice to see that everything was neatly arranged, easy to shop, and free from clutter. Seeing the different rotary phones, vintage casserole dishes, and countless volumes of Better Homes and Gardens cookbooks brought back fond memories of Grandma's house. Tis the season, so Christmas trees were abundant, beautifully decorated with ornaments for sale. The prices were more than fair, and I was able to snag a 1991 Oreo Christmas cookie tin and a 1997 JCPenney Norman Rockwell collectible ornament for under ten dollars! A big thank you to the two cheerful ladies at the front counter, who were more than happy to help me find my treasures! All in all, a highly rewarding experience! I love wandering through antique malls. This charming shop is in the same plaza as YUM- so after grabbing a bunch of baked goods, waking through all the various booths was fun! Plenty of antiques, arts & random finds. I found lots of goodies here that sparked interest! We escaped reality for over an hour- back left corner has even more flanked on both sides! Even the restrooms are full with merchandise. John found some military books~ his favorite! And an ornament for his sister. You never see everything- so take you time & enjoy. read more

Still love this antique mall w/ its 20+ vendors, but the quality of merchandise seems a little less impressive than it was 2-3 years ago (fewer quality furniture pieces). There are still some quality antique & vintage finds here. It's a very clean & organized mall w/ a wide array of merchandise. The 10k & 14k jewelry selection is excellent, & if it's costume necklaces you want, one dealer offers hundreds of them @ $3 each. (See pic.) This is a "mall" with vendor booths. There are many booths to look at and a huge variety of items for sale. Several cases of gold and silver jewelry as well as fashion pieces. Lots of furniture, mirrors, decor and small items for sale. Owners are helpful and shop is fun. Easy to find lots of interesting things in there. It's an eclectic mix. Good people. Good finds. This antique gem has been around since 2007. Nestled within the Morgan Shopping Plaza, it occupies 4,000 sq feet & is owned & staffed by the most friendly, professional & helpful women. Tucked away in the corner space of a strip mall, & w/ a sign that simply reads "Antiques, etc," Now & Then Mall offers reasonably priced antique collectibles in ALL genres. Lots of Native American & old Florida relics here, but also lots of vintage 14k jewelry, costume jewelry, furniture, lamps, art, soaps, candles, clothing (including fur coats & bomber jackets), kitchenware, & art. The staff was so helpful explaining which Jacksonville-area antique shops are a must see & which ones are lacking; we left knowing we'd return soon. read more
