I have been to this office several times and have always been treated quickly and thoroughly. I had to have some tests done on Friday and they called me Saturday afternoon with the results! I have been here twice due to fear of a broken bone and they x-rayed and sent results to radiology just to be sure. Contacted me the same day. One of the greatest blessings in my life was to meet Dr. Rahimi six years ago. He was my grandma's doctor in the hospital. I knew he was special from the moment I met him. He took excellent care of my grandma, but he also took car of us, her family. He is compassionate, honest, and attentive in every way. We think of him as family, because that is how he treats us. I arrived to this office and wasn't sure what to expect. I'm always hesitant to see a new doctor. However, this particular visit: I arrived, was greeted and welcomed with a smile. Although the receptionist was clearly busy, she made sure to maintain her professionalism the entire time. I filled out paperwork and went back to see the doctor. The assistants were all polite and friendly. The dr. Explained every step and answered questions. I received a RX and took it to the pharmacy right next door (so convenient). 5 stars for this place! read more

It was my second time that I had to go there . No appointment ,no contact. Just walked in. The staff are so kind, knowledgeable,helpful and awesome. The place is clean and its environment is so welcoming. They took care of me so fast , provided me with some urgent medication , and gave me all emotional supports I needed besides all professional diagnosis and prescription. Highly recommend. Just as an urgent care should be--Nice and new, competent med staff, friendly employees, efficient service and peace of mind. They are staffed appropriately, the wait time was much better than most doc appts, and they gave me the attention and time needed to assess what was going on. Great office, I was seen within 10 mins for vitals etc. Staff is great, Dr is great. Highly recommend. Very convenient with pharmacy next door which is much quicker than the chain stores. Literally I had my prescription in less than 15 mins from the time it was called in which means a lot when you are feeling horrible to get in and get out. This office is incredible- a fast in and out every time we visit. Plus they actually CARE about you! I had a fainting spell after drawing blood (sorry I'm feeble like that) and they were all over me, the doctor even went next door to buy me a Gatorade! I stopped going to a regular doctor and just make appointments here now. There's no reason to leave the Penninsula when you have great physicians like these right in your neighborhood. This office is great! I went in to get a physical done for sports without an appointment and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a doctor. The physical only cost $35 no insurance and lasted about 10 minutes as well. It's conveniently located for all PV residents and is walk in, which is great, but I'd still recommend making an appointment. read more

Sliced my finger open and did not want to go to PV Urgent Care and wait in a dirty waiting room for two hours to be seen so tried out Ocean Front Urgent Care on the suggestion of a friend. The office was spotless and the wait-time was almost non-existent. Was seen by Marina, who was assisted by Chris. They were amazing and kind and attentive and took such excellent care of me. I am very pleased with Ocean Front Urgent Care. I went in for chest pain and Dr Rahimi took time to explain what my options were. MA Nena was very nice and helpful. Each time I called in with questions, was able to speak to Nena or Dr Rahimi. My husband went in for Bronchitis and he also agree that Dr Rahimi is easy to talk to and takes his time with his patients. Some urgent care charge as outpatient visit which cost more. But Ocean Front charge like a regular doctor's office visit. I highly recommend it. read more

These folks are true medical professionals, in fact I have made Dr. Rahimi my Primary Care Physician. I found it odd that I had to wait 5 months for an appointment for a simple annual physical exam by another well know medical group over in Torrance so I called Ocean Front Urgent Care and was seen the same day. They ran all of the same tests as any other doctor has in the past and at the usual follow up visit to review my bloodwork and overall health Dr. Rahimi took the extra time to suggest a few minor lifestyle changes that could (and did) improve my health even more. Not just another "get 'em in, get 'em out, next" office, this group puts the health of the patient and the art of medicine first. read more

My parents were visiting for a week, my dad got severe stomach pain on Tuesday , finally went to urgent care on Wednesday. Dr prescribed something to alleviate the pain until we got blood tests back to see whats really going on. Blood Test results would be back by noon Thursday. We called numerous times and were told they would let us know by end of day, then moon the next day, then end of day Friday.... My parents left today with no response from this office. Seriously, this is how you treat patients. Im sure they saw out of town guests and saw $$, I wonder if they even sent the blood sample out to get analyzed. read more

We have been going here for years! This office is so nice and friendly and they will work with you and your insurance to make sure you're getting the right tests and care. I've been here for kidney infections for the last 3 years and they always take me in right away! They have even opened up their office on a holiday just for me to give me an injection I desperately needed. I was so excited to make Dr. Rahimi my primary care physician after I changed insurances. Went in with classic symptoms of a UTI. Incorrectly diagnosed as BPH, which any laymen can discern from a UTI with a cursory google search. By the time I was able to get an appointment with my PCP, the infection had spread so far that it required 3 weeks of aggressive antibiotic therapy. These guys are worse than useless - they are a danger to their patients. read more

Faster than going to my primary care - they are always 100% accurate and take care of the issue quickly and thoroughly. The rest of the staff is equally professional and quick. I almost don't want to write a review because being seen there is so fast, and they take plenty of time with you ... and maybe that would change if too many people started going there. I went in last week on a Monday morning to have an X-ray taken to rule out a fracture. No medical doctor available, but the PA was in the office. Everyone on staff from the receptionist to the X-ray tech was very friendly. X-Rays are immediately sent out to be read by an on-call consulting radiologist so I was given a copy the radiology report within about 15-20 minutes. Had I had a more serious medical condition, I probably would not have stayed to be seen by a PA, but as I was only there to have the X-ray taken I found the service professional and expeditious. If your condition requires being seen by a medical doctor I would call ahead to make sure one is in the office. read more

I went there two years ago for heavy nose bleeding , after I spent most of the night in Torrance hospital for the same problem .so I just walked in and they took me inside right away after I sign the form . Didn't take Dr Rahimi that long to come to the room , Omg couldn't believe how nice and caring he was .he stopped the bleeding , cleaned me up even gave me his cell number and said to call him if any problem . Since then I been going there for everything else including my annual check up . I recommended them to some family and friends and they all thanking me for that. I went to Ocean Front almost three weeks ago, when my horse accidentally bit my thumb. The doctors there were amazing - the thumb got infected and they were so quick to prescribe a different antibiotic, get me on antibiotic shots and advise me to come in about five times for a followup. The nurses and doctors were terrific and I would highly recommend them for either urgent care or regular family care! read more

Very courteous and professional front office staff. Running an urgent care is not easy, its a triage. People bitching and moaning, they have to make the best judgement call on who can be treated and who needs to go to an ER for more thorough exams. They do the best they can to prioritize and not have to keep you suffering in the waiting area. I had a 2" cut and they moved me up to get sewn up. As for the new patient fee's those don't exist. You pay your insurance co-pay which depends on what plan you get. And this is much much better than going to an ER. read more

We moved to the area a year ago and I can't believe how lucky and grateful we are to have such great doctors and medical staff within walking distance! The commitment and dedication to their patients is incredible (and rare). their expertise and knowledge of such a wide variety of conditions and issues is incredible. They have seen us through bronchitis, asthma, staff infections, back problems, chronic stomach issues and most recently my 3 year old who fell down our stairs and split his forehead. It was such a relief to bundle him up and place him in such great hands. We were ushered in immediately and within a 1/2 hour, he was stitched up and walked out the door with his "mickey mouse" glove balloon that the doctor gave him for being such a great little patient. Dr. Rahimi and Nena worked quickly and skillfully despite all my sons tears. They were calming, caring and focused - they are truly a very special team! read more

Today I went to go and see a Dr at the Urgent Care in Palos Verdes because I got a spider bite and wanted to see a Dr because it was not getting better. The front desk lady took my insurance and $35 co-pay from, I asked her to double check if they took my insurance, which she said yes and then told me she was filling in for some body else which I was not interested in. After waiting in the waiting room for around 10 minutes they call me in to one of their medical rooms, after waiting another few minutes a nurse walks in to take my vitals. Then I carried on waiting for the Dr. After a couple minutes the Dr walks in and says she has a problem with my insurance and they trying to sort it out, I carried on waiting eventually the Dr comes in and says that they don't take my insurance and I either have to get a authorization which I did not need to do on my insurance plan or money upfront. After leaving the room I asked the front desk lady why she could not tell me upfront that they did not take my insurance and aloud me to wait in their rooms for 45 minutes when I could of been at my daughters school play. Her answer was that I should be grateful that she is filling in for somebody else and threatened to call the police on me. I then asked for my co-pay back which she made a big fuss about. I hope that this women gets reprimanded or gets told to go, because they way she aloud me to wait and mess with peoples lives is disgusting and incompetent, I will never again go to that Urgent Care. If you do happen to go there watch the way the staff treat you because they incompetent and totally rude and obnoxious. read more

I've been going to this place for a long time, even recommended this place to my friends & relatives..Although i really like the Doctors,my experience here was miserable and i will not come back.the front office staff was very nice, except one of the back office staff who room us in is not only incompetent but simply rude..too bad such a good doctor has such an annoying back office staff...he was rude , unprofessional & he are also obnoxiously loud, I don't feel comfortable around him..same complaint from one of my friend when she visit on the weekend when she was seeking a medical help from this office.talking about other patients problems with the door wide open, whats for lunch..you have a bunch of sick people waiting to see a Dr, yelling like your in a bar is not classy or professional.I've seen it twice already,has no respect to patient privacy & I hope they have someone who is responsible enough to oversee this and make changes to this reoccurring problem. I went to this urgent care about 1 week because my daughter was complaining of ear pain. I've heard so many great about this place from neighbors and friends so I was really eager to check it out. First of all, it's located at Golden Cove Center so really convenient location for me and my family. When I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff but realized there was a couple people waiting in front of me. I completed general new patient paperwork and before I knew it, it was our turn to be seen. Someone took my daughters vitals and then we were greeted by the Physician Assistant, Marina who was such a delight. Usually my daughter is so nervous when she comes to the doctor's, but she was so comfortable with Marina. My daughter has a double ear infection and I told the PA of a certain medication that upsets her stomach so she started her on a different type of antibiotic that she thought would be easier on the tummy. Within a few days later her ear pain went away and no side effects from the med! I highly recommend this place and I actually have made another appointment for myself to see the PA!
