That is so beyond my skill level as I have taught myself how to do haircuts off YouTube. I can do the minimum nothing that requires real skill so I knew I needed to bring him to a professional. Because he wanted the lighting bolt I decided I should take him to a barber shop vs a kid haircut place. I called and booked an appointment for the same day. When we arrived we met our barber, Ashley, who was already waiting by the front, she was professional and ready for us. She offered us a drink, my son choose root beer (this made him feel like a big guy). Ashley then found a cool superhero hair shield and asked what he'd like. For the style all we said was "cool dude haircut with a lighting bolt", we were open to ideas and Ashley took that and helped guide us to what would work best. My son feels so cool after his new cut and he's convinced the lighting bolt makes him run faster (as the person chasing him, I can also agree that the lighting bolt did indeed make him run faster *wipes sweat from forehead and chases son again* :) We were very pleased with Ashley and the staff/facility as a whole and will be back in the future.

I get a nice haircut and shave every time. My only complaint is that I never see the same people when I visit. So the haircut just isn't consistent. I'm not saying it's bad at all. It's just the stylists all interpret it a little differently in my opinion. It could also be they way I describe what I want too so I'll take part of the blame. What should have been a routine appointment became a nightmare. Lien was clearly overwhelmed, trying to juggle too many clients at once--particularly squeezing in several men's haircuts--while I was left to over-process unattended. The result? My long, healthy, blonde hair was fried all the way to the scalp. I was devastated, physically and emotionally, especially heading into the holidays. The damage was so severe that I had no choice but to take legal action--and I won. It was shocking how she tried to lie and deny any wrongdoing, but I had clear, indisputable evidence, and the judge saw right through her. The court recognized the extent of the harm and ordered her to pay for all of my hair repair and damages. After more than a decade of loyalty, I never imagined it would end this way. I would never recommend trusting your hair to Lien Do! No history of good service can excuse such carelessness, dishonesty, and unprofessional behavior. Both of them do a great job with fades, beards, or off-the-wall cuts like my son's Mohawk. They take the time to ensure quality work but are also efficient so you're not sitting in the chair too long. They're both also great to talk to and have relaxing music playing.
