Just knowing him from being a local, while searching for a new PCP I saw that he was listed under my insurance, so I called to make an appointment. Now he is strictly Concierge Medicine. In simple terms that means you have to pay $100 per month minimum or something like that to be a patient -like a membership fee- and then he will see you and accept your insurance. It just makes me so sad that someone that I really had great respect for no longer has any interest in treating the people that have lived here forever.

Doctor was dismissive of my ailments and recommended physical therapy when it was not even a factor. Dr. Fein told me to get better insurance & that mine was garbage, that he couldn't make any money off of it and was harassing me. Didn't spend more than 5 mins with me. Pushing his political views every second. When I was leaving, he made a stir about me not looking at his wall art in his office that he did & made me double back to go in and look at it and pay him compliments. On top of it, I told him I had a mental ailment, which he said I didn't when he didn't know me for a few mins. Last i checked, you're not a physiologist. Really unprofessional mannerisms. He's not a person you would feel comfortable being vulnerable with, I'll say that much. My new doctor listened to me for over an hour and saw what I needed, which was chest x-rays and 6 blood exams -- Never in my life have I dealt with such a negligent medical doctor. Ridiculous.

It took three months for a nurse to properly request prior authorization for a much needed medication, and we ended up paying out of pocket for it. They tell you to leave prescription refill requests on the prescription line, but either no one monitors that line or it doesn't work. One particular receptionist, I believe she is the office manager, is extremely rude and condescending. She doesn't want to listen. She interrupts and talks over people when they are trying to explain something. Not just me, but I witnessed her treating others the same while waiting in the waiting room. Based on a particularly biased comment she made to a coworker, which was heard in the waiting room, it seems she doesn't care much for the elderly either.

Got a prescription and were soon on the path to relief. This is a good place for families to keep in mind to avoid an emergency room visit for any somewhat urgent medical needs (eg. need to be seen but not have their entire vacation suspended by an epic hospital visit) while visiting from our of town.

If it weren't for my trust in Dr. Sklarek, I would have left the practice due to his front desk staff.
