The moment we walked in the door I could tell it would be different. The woman at the front desk was so nice and welcoming. It was such a calming environment. The examiner was a very nice older gentleman. He was so kind and helped ease her nerves. After she passed he went over all the things he marked her off on so she can still improve. I highly recommend taking your kids here for their road test.

Aceable got the paperwork slightly wrong, and Community Driving School worked diligently to help us get everything sorted out so our daughter could get her test taken and have the correct paperwork at the DMV. Howi was the young lady behind the desk who was so kind and patient. Mackenzie was the expert on how everything should look and be properly filled out, and Ahmed was the one who administered the driving test and insisted our daughter's appointment get squeezed in because she missed her appointment time while we sorted the paperwork out. Class act- the whole group. We were so grateful for ALL of them!!

The lesson that day was on drinking and driving. Instead of telling them they are not old enough to drink and they shouldn't that we're teaching them to be cautious and to drink in moderation! THEY ARE 15 and 16YEARS OLD! You teach them absolutely under no circumstances do you ingest alcohol! Not to mention the teacher spent the first 10-15 minutes of her class playing an online game that everyone was watching! Waste of money!

There was absolutely no wait time, and it was a very easy, quick process. They even post their test routes online so you can practice ahead of time. Basically, all I had to do was show up later at DPS with the appropriate paperwork, which made that so much easier. I will definitely be using them again in a couple of years with the next kid.

They also offered a mock test prior to the road test to pinpoint some errors my son was making prior to testing. Call ahead to see what forms and certificates you'll need prior and come prepared. My son was gone long enough to come through the door ecstatic with a pass! Happy kid! They sealed and packaged up the forms for us. Now off back to the DPS to finish the paperwork to drive legally. I came to learn about The Driving Institute, earlier in the year in January - I had a relatively bad experience with another Driving School, after 10hrs of road experience with that school... I was left with no confidence in any of my skills and I barely got any feedback. I booked myself in originally for 2hrs behind the wheel private lessons (which after I passed my driving test - I added in a further 2hrs later in the year to gain some confidence with Interstate and Highway driving), and I must say from the moment I contacted Miranda at The Driving Institute, I was greeted with nothing but friendliness and professionalism. I had my lessons with Mr Rossi [The 2hrs were split into 1hr sessions] and I have to say just after 2hrs, my confidence rose to further than what it was after 10hrs with my previous instructor. He fixed any issues I had within seconds with such simple techniques. He's a great teacher and he knows his stuff! It was well worth my drive from Richardson just for the lessons - I couldn't recommend anyone better to get you ready for these fast and furious Texas roads.
