There were times when I worried about it survival. Because being a cowboy hasn't always been popular. And that's what the general store specializes in. Cowboy gear for women, men and children.. Well, like a popularity certainly not the case anymore at the general store. They have incredible merchandise for both men and women and a few for kids. Their selection makes western wear look cool and stylish. There were definitely items in there I wanted to buy. They had some gorgeous clothes for women. Styles to put wranglers as a shame. These clothes are authentic and yet made of great quality fabrics and materials. I don't think I've ever seen a greater selection of cowboy boots for women and kids. The price goes from about $2000 all the way down to $200. So there's something for everyone. The clothing line for women is very western as you would expect. But the quality is absolutely amazing. Service is really funny. The people waiting on you are definitely a throwback from a different era. They most certainly aren't used to servicing women like me, but they did so graciously with a smile. It's kind of like having your grumpy old grandpa waiting on you, but you know he adores you no matter what. When I left, they were all smiling, and it was clear that they were proud to work there. I spoke with a salesman named Curtis and carefully confirmed that two specific items -- one for me and one for my husband -- were in stock. I explained that this was a long drive involving two freeways and that we did not want to waste the trip. About twenty minutes later, I called again and spoke with the owner/manager because we would have been driving during rush hour traffic that evening. He assured me it was "no problem" to hold the items until the following day and confirmed that Curtis had already set them aside for us. The next day, after making the long drive, Curtis brought out the wrong item entirely. When I reminded him that I had specifically described exactly what we wanted, he tried to steer me toward a completely different product instead. Then he admitted to his boss that the item I wanted had already been sold. This was inconsiderate, unprofessional, and a complete waste of our time, effort, and gasoline. If a store agrees to hold merchandise for customers -- especially customers making a significant trip -- they should honor that commitment. Very aggravating experience. Honestly, we would have been better off ordering from Amazon.

They offer no concessions and are only after your money, once they get your money they don't care about you as a customer, just their bottom line. Super shady and unethical company and they use child labor. Clothes smell weird and chemically upon arrival, very reminiscent of some fast fashion, shein/temu clothing. Terrible experience and the clothing is made for people with big fake butts and breasts (no shade) but the average person does not have that. They glamorize the fake botox plastic surgery look which is cringey. Not the natural form. Their plus sized models just have thick thigs and are not actually plus sized. Save your money and go somewhere else.
