We…read morehad set up an appt with another pool service company that stood us up, so we called Amcon the next day and Darcy in the office had someone here within less than an hour -- and with NO initial $150+ service fee just to show up and take a look, if you can believe that! Michael diagnosed the problem -- our 25-year-old pump and 50+ year old sand filter (!) needed to be replaced. No surprise there. He talked us through the options and provided us with a written proposal the next day with line items for the recommended new equipment and labor costs. The equipment was ordered, then installed by Michael and his co-worker a few days later -- all less than a week from when we had initially called. We were trained on how to operate the shiny new (much more energy efficient and quiet) equipment and Michael was responsive to a couple follow up calls with questions. Everything was totally professional, transparent, efficient, and reliable from start to finish. And our water is clearer than it has ever been!
