Since then I have had multiple leaks patched, a motor replaced, and a control panel replaced. I do the routine maintenance myself (chemicals, cleaning, jet replacement) but I call Poseys for everything that requires opening up the outer shell. Poseys is a small family run business, so when I phone I know to expect that I may need to leave a message, but they usually return the phone call within a day and when they do, I know I will be speaking with the company directly, not a switchboard. Their communication has always been clear, their manner professional, their prices lower than MY estimates, and their work reliably good. Twenty-three years ago I purchased the right spa for my health needs: the right size and shape, the right jet placement, and thanks to Poseys I have not had to replace that spa with a newer model that lacks the features I value. As for Poseys, I just hope their family business continues for as long as I own a spa, because that's the company I want for repairs.

Michael diagnosed the problem -- our 25-year-old pump and 50+ year old sand filter (!) needed to be replaced. No surprise there. He talked us through the options and provided us with a written proposal the next day with line items for the recommended new equipment and labor costs. The equipment was ordered, then installed by Michael and his co-worker a few days later -- all less than a week from when we had initially called. We were trained on how to operate the shiny new (much more energy efficient and quiet) equipment and Michael was responsive to a couple follow up calls with questions. Contacting Don we made appointment for two weeks out to fit our schedule. He arrived on time to trouble shot the problem. Turn out to be a shorted circuit board. This item not available because of the age. Don recommended to replace the whole heater assembly. It was available in stock and would replace my old unit. We agree he would come back and install unit. Again he was on time and very friendly. After a couple of hours everything hooked up and spa ran great. He recommended we install a surge breaker at the power box. Don return after a few days and installed it. Don has become my go to spa guy. He was knowledgeable, and friendly. I would highly recommend him.

After over a month, he installed the switch and said there's no gas at the hot tub. He said it wasn't his responsibility to know that there was no gas. We then had to hire a gas contractor to install a new gas line to the tub, which took another month and cost $600. Did I mention the $25 job with Sound City cost $700 not $25? (There was also a filter to replace he said would cost $200 that cost $400) And that Don left garbage laying around? That he was combative and non professional? Seriously the WORST HOT TUB REPAIR ANYWHERE. Go elsewhere.

ASA Pools & Spas is bar none the best service we've ever had on our architectural and somewhat…read morecomplicated dual pond + waterfall water feature. we have all the equipment of a pool but with greater structural/physical complexity. all other pool & pond service providers in the past paled in comparison to ASA. they would get it to work for awhile, but specific aspects of the feature would cause degradation in pump or water flow thru performance over time, or frequent attendance and servicing was inconsistent. but ASA is starkly different! ASA team approached it with an "engineering excellence" stemming from an incredible understanding (and intelligence) about the technical components of the system, as well as taking a no-challenge-is-too-great attitude. they even took special care to get the minor aesthetic details right (i.e. perfectly flush water level with the coping). after nearly 14 years of messing around with other pool providers, from now on we will only go with ASA as our water feature has performed FLAWLESSLY. they have my HIGHEST recommendation!!
