I had such a lovely and relaxing few days at the Rain Forest Resort. Flying in to Seattle and driving out this way took a while, so I was worried about checking in, before their front desk closed. However; they're open until 9 and when I called to share my arrival time, they were super helpful and reassuring. Check in is at the store across from the Salmon House restaurant. I had booked a lodge room with a view. It's rustic and bare bones but was quiet, clean and comfortable. Plus, you can't beat the lake views right outside your window. Nearby, you can walk to many of the Quinault Rain Forest trails. The location is a bit remote, so do stock up on necessities. One minor consideration is that the lodge rooms don't have a mini fridge. I believe some of their cabins do. I'd definitely stay here again if I were visiting the area. It was a nice property with wonderful staff and a reasonable price. read more

I had no plans on staying in a cabin in the middle of nowhere but I am so glad I did! As a native Floridian visiting Forks, I was a little nervous at first. No working GPS or signal, and I had only booked this place on Expedia prior to my trip, since everything in Forks was fully booked. But let me just say... I ended up LOVING it! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything I could possibly need... Fireplace, WiFi, kitchenette, fridge, TV... you name it! I especially loved all the windows that let in tons of natural light, and the porch out front was such a nice touch. The staff at the office were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even offered me an upgrade for just $15, which I really appreciated. The location itself was absolutely stunning... Surrounded by mountains and overlooking a beautiful lake, it felt like the perfect escape. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this cabin is it. I was not disappointed in the slightest and honestly can't wait to come back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Washington is truly a beautiful state and staying here just solidified my opinion. read more

I had a really nice stay here at Rain Forest Resort Village. After exploring two National Parks and being in and out of different hotels all week, this was a nice relaxing place to stay at to finish up my trip to Washington. Rain Forest Resort Village has fireplace cabins and suites, Village Inn rooms and a RV Campground. They gave me a room with a balcony that had a gorgeous view of Lake Quinault. I enjoyed waking up to the sunset over the lake. The room was nice and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Next to the front desk at Rain Forest Resort Village is a small general store that has pretty much anything you may need. There is also a gift shop and laundromat. The staff here is great and very welcoming. They pointed out a couple of hiking trails for me to do that were nearby. I was able to do the Quinault Rain Forest hike and the short hike to the World's Largest Spruce Tree near the lake. Lake Quinault and the Salmon House Restaurant are across the street from Rain Forest Resort Village. The downtown area of Quinault is just a short drive away. Merriman Falls isn't too far away either if you want to check that out. Overall, my stay here was wonderful and relaxing. You can't beat the gorgeous views of Lake Quinault from your room. read more

Absolutely glowing from our stay here! We got a cabin with a jacuzzi which was absolutely worth it. Everything is charmingly old-fashioned but comfortable and fully functional. You get a private parallel parking spot out front and a beautiful view of the lake. The check-in process was the best I've ever had: congenial, quirky and warm, with an adorable resident dog. There is complimentary cider, and coffee and tea in the inn. Their shop is full of fun, useful memorabilia (including banana slug bags!). Finally, what a beautiful location! Lake Quinault is right across the road and there are a variety of trails and attractions like the world's largest Sitka Spruce. Next time, we definitely want to try their Salmon House restaurant which cooks salmon around 8 different ways! Stay here for a true Washington experience. read more

We ended up staying at the campground last weekend. We'd planned to boondock but came in too late to search out a good spot. All other campgrounds nearby were closed. We happened to stop off to see the big Sitka Spruce and noticed the campground right next to us. We were a tad apprehensive when we heard pricing (having seen the size of the spots), but since it was dark we went ahead. Sites are currently 55$ for hook-up and $45 for none. General facilities aren't available right now, but they've got a porta potty should you dare. The sites are all extremely close together with zero barrier between. Luckily there was only one rv besides us, so having the place virtually to ourselves made the $50 acceptable....although it would be way too close for comfort for us if it had been busy. You can start one of the rainforest trails right behind the store, fun trek. Check-in was extremely friendly, the store has all the necessities. Quiet and peaceful right now, decent wifi (no signal otherwise), and in a good location. It was a 4 star experience for us, but again, only because it was so quiet and empty right now. read more

We absolutely loved this spot. We had no plans of where we were gonna stay as we were doing a trek down through the Olympics. We wanted to see the Sitka Spruce and were immediately taken back by the views. We walked into the office to get wifi to check hotel options as we opted out of Aberdeen. This place was way too pretty to not stay here. We had an AMAZING dinner at the Salmon House Restaurant (garlic bread, steak, blackened salmon) it was all amazing. Small town restaurants are sometimes hit or miss. You never know what you're gonna get, but this really stood out and was better than some fine dining spots that we've had. Joe, the owner is a hard-working man who we saw on the grounds doing what young men should be doing, but it really just shows how much he loves and cares about his property. He's been here since the 70s. We got to hang out with him and the lady at the desk and they were super helpful. I would highly recommend this place and I encourage people to come and stay here and eat at the restaurant and support this family. We will absolutely be back. read more

Nice little place! Stayed here last week with my brothers. This is a nice little cozy and very rustic motel. A little dated by clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was wonderful. We were in the ADA room and it was very comfortable. Huge clean bathroom and I mean huge when compared to the room. Nice little motel located next to the lake. Has a wonderful view of the lake! The only drawback to this place were the outlets. I think every outlet in our room should be changed! They are very loose and anything you plug in will be subjected to falling out, they should spend maybe $20.00 bucks a room and replace every outlet in each room. Other that that, wonderful little place to stay. Comfortable and quiet! read more

Ian was at the front desk & did a stellar job of checking us in and making us feel welcome. The only mark against is the walls are thin. I wouldn't recommend having a conversation that you wanted to keep private as it will be heard by your neighbor. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars. We had spent the day at Olympic National Park. We didn't realize that many motels close at 9pm & without cell service we had trouble finding a place. Luckily, Jose, the front desk clerk at Rain Forest Resort was super helpful! We got a cute place on the first floor with two rooms. Had a weird experience with my credit card here. Tried to book online, but it wouldn't go through. Called and a man had me give my credit card over the phone. Never received the promised confirmation email. Shortly thereafter, my credit card was found to be compromised and I had to close it. Something feels off to me, and I hope the owners will take a look at their online payment merchant to make sure it's safe for their customers. If you want to stay here, I recommend going through a booking site instead of directly through the hotel. read more

We drove over to the coast to see Olympic National Park after spending a couple days Seattle. There aren't too many hotels south of the on the coast, but we found this place just a few miles off the main road and the setting couldn't be more beautiful. It sits right on the east edge of Lake Quinault. The lodge itself it not new, but well maintained. All of the rooms in the hotel portion have a view of the lake. They have some cabins too, and a campground. Very comfortable and relaxing, at a very reasonable price. One of the reasons we picked it though was the sister restaurant just across the street - the Salmon House. When checking in we found the restaurant only did take-out business, and after looking at the menu weren't fond of the idea of getting a $30 salmon dinner in a Styrofoam container. So we found a little tavern in the neighboring town to have dinner. Not a big deal. Everything there runs out of their general store/gift shop, including the ice machine for the hotel. We thought it odd that the store didn't open until 9am, and when we pulled up right before then to check out there was a line of people waiting for it to open. Kind of odd hours, but we survived. This would be a nice place to visit for a getaway for a couple of days to enjoy the area. It really was beautiful, but maybe when the restaurant reopens. read more

Looking at other reviews, apparently there is some disparity between accommodations, so please note that we stayed in cabin #7, across the road from the lake and the restaurant. Our space and our experience was as good as it gets! Our cabin was a nice size with mini fridge and microwave, a very comfortable bed, and an incredibly beautiful view right out onto the lake. It was quiet and so relaxing, the staff was so friendly, and the restaurant is exceptional ( takeout only, which allowed us to sit in our cabin, eat great food, sip our wine, and savor the sunset.) We appreciated being able to get whatever we needed from the store just steps away and to wash clothes in the laundry area just a few steps farther. We truly loved our time here. read more

This review is for the Village Inn motel style rooms that are the first part of the resort you see as you're driving north on the South Shore road. First, this location is exquisite. Although you are right on the road, there is very little road noise, and the views of the lake are eye popping, either out the large picture windows, or from your semi private deck. Rooms are dated and a bit funky in decor due to serial renovations/refurnishings from various decades. Whether you find this vulgar or charming is up to you. We sprung $20 extra per night to get a room with a separate bedroom and it was worth it since I routinely get up 2 hours before Mr. Crankypants so I can sit here & enjoy my coffee while he snores. Be aware the provided coffee pot is tiny so be prepared to brew a couple pots. Bring your own filters and mugs unless you like to use their little filter pods and drink out of paper cups. I do think that for $185 a night there should be a mini fridge at the very least, and probably a microwave as well. There is a tiny TV in the bedroom. The Salmon House restaurant is right across the street and I'll review that separately after we get food there tonight. It is open for takeout only from 4-9 pm. The lounge appears to be closed due to COVID but the little store which is open from 9-9 can sell you a bottle of wine or cold beer. A few badly needed improvements: provide a table to go with the two plastic chairs on the deck. Hey, I need someplace to put my wine! And provide lights in the closets. They're large and handy for stowing your hiking gear and stuff but it's pitch dark in there. Also the bedding needs to be updated. And badly faded photo art in the living room is distractingly ugly. How much does it cost to put new photographic prints into the existing frames? With a little attention to detail, this would be a solid 4 star accommodation. If I return I would probably upgrade next time to one of their cabins with jetted tub and fireplace. read more

The cabin was about what I'd expected. There is little to no internet connection and the furniture it 1970's motel. The only problem was the smell of artificial deodorizer. It was awful, especially when you came into the from the clean fresh air outside. This smell was very strong and really irritated my nose/allergies. read more

My friends stayed here. You have great access to paddle the lake, the views are awesome and there is a laundry, pay showers, and the Salmon house restaurant for yummy food. The post office, store and gift shop are right there too. You can camp, stay in a cabin or in their hotel. read more

I stayed in one of the lakeside cabins and had a generally good time. I do think the cabins are slightly overpriced--they're a little worn inside and quite close together. But ours had a mini fridge and microwave and a partially obstructed but lovely view of the lake. The check in area is also half convenience store, which is quite handy. Service was helpful and friendly. I appreciated that mask wearing was required in the check in area and that everyone seemed to be respectful of this. There's a large green area where you can sit by the lake, and you can also walk to see the world's largest spruce tree (it's right on the property). There's a lot of families and kids playing/yelling so it's not the best place for a romantic getaway. If you can, make sure to get a cabin right on the lake (there are some that are much further set back). read more

The view of the lake made very thing worthwhile, so peaceful and relaxing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We got a room with two queens since they didn't have room with king bed available, it turned out to be more spacious then expected, almost like two connected rooms. Checked in at the little convenient store was interesting, very nice people. No microwave was not a problem but we do wish they have a fridge in the room for us to store some food and drinks. We had a good dinner across the street at the Salmon House then walked around the beautiful lake, a nice ending to a perfect evening. Will stay here again. read more

Definitely recommend! The hotel rooms have a back door and front door which was handy. Rooms are average although bathrooms have been updated recently. The owners were very nice and provide free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for guests just inside the store. Great souvenirs inside as well. The hikes in the area are amazing! The lake doesn't allow motorized boats so it is incredibly peaceful. The resort has the best view on the lake for sunset watchers and all hotel rooms have plenty of seating for folks to watch outside their front doors. The Salmon House restaurant onsite is only doing takeout because of Covid but hopefully everything is back to normal fast. There are so many waterfalls close by that can be viewed from the car. It seemed as if they were everywhere and to my kids dismayed I got out at every one. We added an additional night on our stay because nobody wanted to leave. This is a great place to unplug and unwind. 10 out of 10 will be back again. Thankful that the Quinault Tribe regulates the lake activity to keep this space natural and cared for. read more

My girlfriends and I were running late and we called Ian about a late check-in. He and his new puppy stuck around until after 8pm to make sure we had a warm welcome! Though we didn't get to do as much exploring as we would have liked due to torrential rain, the fireplace cabin #6 was a warm and cozy retreat with a wonderful view. Clean, well equipped with kitchen stuff and linens, and passable internet as long as you're not streaming. Easy access to short trails and waterfalls. Not many dining options nearby, especially after about 8pm, but the on-site take-out only Salmon House restaurant was excellent. read more

Very pretty lakeside campground with water and 30 amp. No dump station however and where you check-in is hard to find- it is the store across the street from the driveway which is very easy to miss. No good visible signs or parking for rigs at check-in point causes issues with traffic. But the grounds are lovely once you get it all figured out. read more

You know that one time? When I was down at the Winchester House of Mystery? On the flashlight tour? There was this moment, when I stopped to take a picture, and the tour group went on without me. Suddenly it was all dark and really quiet, and after about two seconds, I got this little thrill of terror: ohnoit'stheghostsit'stheghostsit'sghosts -- yougottagetouttahere! Pulse rate and breath quickened, I scooted on out of there toot sweetly and ran to catch up with my group, slightly spooked, slightly winded, and thoroughly exhilarated. Now just for the record, the Rain Forest Resort Village did not give me that feeling. The cabin we stayed in was simple and clean, but not so much a cabin as a freestanding motel room with a fireplace and jetted tub that no one used, and kinda icky carpet. And if it doesn't specifically say "kitchen" on the cabin you're reserving, be prepared for sandwiches, microwave meals, or eating out. The people were genuinely nice, and in true small town fashion, kindly facilitated a late check-in by taping our cabin key in an envelope to the door of the general store. But enough about the facilities. Let's talk about the location. Lake Quinault is in the Olympic National Forest. It is quiet and surrounded by old growth. You can lay out on the sandy shores of the lake or swim around in the clear water, you can walk up and down trails, and you can see some of the biggest trees on record. We walked down through bogs and up waterfalls, and we saw sections of forest that looked like a giant had tromped through, flattening thousand-year-old oaks like toothpicks. We walked the mile around the bend in the lake to get a drink at the Lake Quinault Lodge (a subject for its own review), and enjoyed pastoral views everywhere along the way. The Forest Service wants you to know that there are indeed bears in them thar hills, while the books in the gift shop at the Rain Forest Resort Village would like to inform you that the bears they speak of might in all actuality be Sasquatches. Which brings me back to the Winchester Mystery house. Remember that feeling? The scary, thrilling, panicky, exciting feeling that I might have just been tickled by a ghost? Well, out there in the quiet woods, somewhere between the cedar bog and the falls, that feeling came rushing back like a whisper on my neck, when right behind us, we heard the loud and unmistakable grunt of a Sasquatch. One of the three of us says it was a bear. The other says it was a hummingbird. Those two can say whatever they want; I know a Bigfoot when I hear one. read more

A nice family owned business. The boyfriend and I stayed here during a 2 week roadtrip. They have cabins for $160, but we booked a room for $125. The room was very nice and even had a living room! No wi-fii, but there was a TV. The room seemed well maintained and had a cabin feel so we loved it. The rooms with a living room also had a clear and beautiful view of Lake Quinault. The rooms also had a balcony with chairs. There was so much seating in the room - 2 chairs on the balcony, 2 chairs inside facing the window, and a couch. There's a coffee maker in the room, but no microwave or mini-fridge. The family business also has a restaurant and a gift shop. You check in at the gift shop and they close at 9pm, so I'm not sure what you do if you check in too late... but I don't think it's a good idea to be driving too dark in the rainforest either. Ice is located in the gift shop also. If you are staying at the resort, ice is free and you can either get ice in a bucket or just grab the prefilled bags. If you aren't staying there, ice is $2 a bag, which is actually cheaper than most places. read more

I loved this place! I visited with a Living Social deal and couldn't have been happier with my experience except for the torrential downpour, which was of course no one's fault. From booking to arrival the front desk staff stayed in communication and kept my cabin warm for me after I let them know the weather would make me a late arrival. I received a bottle of wine and a certificate for a free app at the local restaurant at check in, which was part of the deal. Upon entering the cabin (I think I had number 1 or 2) I was really happy with the warmth of the room, and the accommodations in general. It is by no means 5 star but for a cabin on the lake it was above my expectations. Liked the fireplace, which was electric, and appreciated the coffee pot, fridge and (I believe) microwave. Some additional things to know... there is a general store for essentials, and that is where you check in. Toiletries are provided, as well as a small television with basic cable. There was also a small table with chairs in my cabin. The location was awesome, and made it easy to check out Lake Quinault. I later made the trip around the peninsula, and found this a great place to have started the trip. Looking forward to another visit! read more

This place was affordable and right in the park so it was super convenient. It has an old mildewly smell, but if you can get over that, the convenience and price make it worth it. They let us check in early and seemed very friendly. The view outside of the rooms are awesome. It's within walking distance of the salmon house which had surprisingly delicious food. We came here for a family hiking trip and we all thoroughly enjoyed our selves. The hike was perfect for us...a bit of a challenge but totally manageable and fun for me, my 5 year and my boyfriend with our 6 month old in a baby carrier. It was well worth the trip. Nothing in particular to see (well except the giant tree at the beginning of the trail) but a great hike nonetheless. If I decide to come back out there, I'll probably save up for a nicer place :) But it's nice and clean and will do if you're just wanting a place to lay your head. read more

Fabulous location right next to Lake Quinault and inside the Quinault National Forest. We stayed one night at the Rain Forest Resort Village while visiting Olympic National Park and were very happy with the accommodations. We stayed on the second floor, in room #219. Although this room was above the laundry, our stay was quiet and peaceful (the laundry room is locked at night). Our room was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals, but we also enjoyed a delicious take-out dinner from The Salmon House, which was right across the street. The sunset over Lake Quinault was incredible. There are hiking trails right behind the resort that take you just a short distance to beautiful waterfalls. The world's largest Sitka Spruce tree nearby is something to see, too! One special note of appreciation - the staff at Rain Forest Resort Village were all very friendly and helpful during and after our stay. I discovered that I'd accidently left behind a small pillow I'd brought from home, and the staff mailed it back to me! read more

No plans! No reservations! No idea where we were going. We just flipped a coin and headed North. After some dead ends, some beaches and some cool little towns, we ended up at Lake Quinault. What we found: Cabin, Fireplace, Lake, Rainforest, and a rustic romantic getaway. Not knowing the area, I just started searching for hotels and came across the Rain Forest Resort. Originally, they quoted me $160 for a cabin. But, we worked our magic and the lady lowered it to $125 (off-season rate). That shows that they have some flexibility and ability to negotiate. After getting settled, we went to the Salmon House Restaurant located only a stones throw from all the cabins. Great food! We started with salmon spread. I thought it would be just a spread. It was a huge piece of smoked salmon, crackers, and small blocks of cream cheese. We were pleasantly surprised. I ordered steak and oysters. She ordered chicken cordon bleu. The food was cooked perfectly and the portions were large. The cabin was rustic and and romantic. It was a nice size and included a fireplace and small deck. The cabin was about 100 yards from the Lake and we had spectacular views. We chose to light the fireplace, drink red wine outside on the deck while the rain pelted the roof, look out upon the lake, and listen to some great music. Regardless of how you spend your evening at the Rain Forest Resort, you will have a great time. read more

We stayed in room 207 on the second floor facing the lake. It was beautiful! We had a living room and a balcony. We spent a lot of time on that balcony. There was a tv but no refrigerator. Clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly! Highly recommend! Also recommend checking out the world's largest spruce up the road. We didn't have time but I imagine the loop around the lake is lovely. South of the spruce there's a gravel road across from the Gatton creek campground that will lead you to the trailhead of a short hike (.5 mile-ish) to a bridge over a beautiful waterfall! read more

We stayed in cabin #9. It's small, but perfect for the 3 of us. I liked that it was a little farther from other cabins so we wouldn't get bothered or bother others with our daughter. It didn't feel like a hotel. We ordered a roll away too for our 3yr old to sleep in. We loved being across the street from the lake and the restaurant. We went on day hikes so the location was perfect. The TV only had 2 channels so that part we didn't like for at night. read more

Stayed in the RV park which is located right next to Quinault Lake and behind the resorts cabins. Enjoyed the quiet evening and a beautiful sunset on the lake. The nearby trails offered a good (short) experience in the rain forest with some of the biggest trees in the world within a few short hikes. The largest Sitka Spruce is literally steps from the campground with a beautiful meadow at its base. Full hookups, better Internet access and an updated shower/restroom facilities would make this park A+ and someplace you could stay longer. Will return if in the area again. TIP RV Spot #1 is right next to the lake and offers the best view. If making a camping reservation that is the spot to book! Might not handle anything over 30'. Note: Fishing on the lake requires a special permit from the Quinault Nation. read more

I admit that I have a sentimental connection to this place, as it was my first job as a kid cleaning the cabins and motels. But this reviewer can be objective, and that's what I plan to do. My experience was in the RV park, the store/office, and the Salmon House restaurant. We took our travel trailer there, trusting we'd have a site available since they do not take reservations. The sites are very close together, but for us it wasn't a problem since there were only 9 of the 31 spots occupied at the most during our three night stay, Thurs-Sun at the end of June. But if your trailer or RV has a slide out, try to to get a spot where you think no one will pull in next to you. Another bummer was there are no picnic tables, so if you know this ahead of time, you will bring an extra table with you. And, there are no fire pits. There are water/electric hookups, but no sewer and no dump station. But alas, the positives outweigh the negatives! The campground itself is very nicely maintained. There is a pay shower--but note that even though it says multiple quarters will accumulate time, don't believe it. Put in one quarter at a time and when it shuts off at 2.5 minutes, put in another--you're going to have to trust my personal experience on this one. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The RV park neighbors the world's largest sitka spruce tree, which is a great photo op. Furthermore, my kids rode their bikes around and around the campsite, paved road and always in my view. The lake is nearby, and we took our chairs down and the kids played and played on the shore building sand castles and whatever else 10 and 4 year-olds do, while my husband and I relaxed, read a book, and took in the beautiful scenery. Lake Quinault is BEAUTIFUL! My experience at the store/office was....interesting. My kids and I walked in, and the two people working just kept talking. They had to see/hear us. I stood at the counter and waited. They talked. Finally, one walked away to check a shelf, and the other just stood there with her back to us. Finally, I said, "I need to register for the RV park," and I was helped. My experiences in the store were good after that, but really...customer service is important to me, and I have no idea why I was ignored. But the store is well stocked for whatever you may need. My last experience was at the Salmon House restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You will not find better food or better service in the area. I know a few of the employees, but I had never met our waitress, but she was very sweet and we had great service, which makes up for the not-so-great store experience on day 1. Overall, will I go here again? YES YES YES!!! And would I recommend it to others? Absolutely! Just be aware of some of the things about the RV park, and even those aren't huge issues. On my next trip, I'll just go one quarter at at a time in the shower, bring my own table for outside, and I will be one happy camper...AND SO WILL YOU! read more

We stayed two night in cabin #9, which overlooked the lake (across the main road and parking lot). The amount of traffic in front of our unit really wasn't that bad. We were very close to the Salmon house restaurant that did not disturb us much. They are only open from 5 to 9 and family's on vacation are a mellow bunch. Sitting on a covered patio in front of the unit was very pleasant as the view of the lake and meadow was worth a million dollars. Good thing as the wi-fi is slow and the small TV only had three stations. Time to unplug and stop posting pictures of food on social media! The cabin is older, sagging and decorated in 60's mis-match, exactly as advertised and we enjoyed the stay. The kitchen was adequately equipped with just enough utensils, pans and appliances. They have the usual motel coffee packs to start your day since you need to wait till 9:00 am for free coffee in the office. This unit had a gas fireplace that we never turned on as they are having a August heat wave (75 degrees constitutes a heat wave here). Very pleasant at night, sweatshirt weather. There is no A/C, but the provided fan on a stick worked just fine. The majority of the cabins are off the main road a 1/2 block and looked very nice. Some had views of the lake from their patio. The motel type rooms all looked like they faced the lake across the road. Much more casual than the Lake Quinault lodge down the road and much cheaper. The staff is super friendly helpful, which I should know since I bugged them to death with little requests. The resort is centrally located for exploring the Lake Quinault area at the southwest end of Olympia Park. We originally planned to drive up to the north part of the park, but there was so many trails and things to do around Lake Quinault we never left here. The couple of rainforest trails are a 'don't miss'. read more

I stayed in a cabin in this lovely town! The views are beautiful from your porch! Trails are close by! I also just wanted to thank the wonderful front desk staff for being so considerate when I felt unsafe due to a stranger. They were nothing but kind! I highly recommend this place! read more

We stayed over the weekend. The clerk at check in was very nice, we originally booked a room but wanted a cabin instead and she was able to do that. At check in she filled me in on local hikes and places to eat. The next day a different person helped us and called around to help us find a mercantile that carried back packs since we forgot ours. The cabin had extra pillows since they only put 2 on the bed. The fireplace is awesome after a long hike. I can't say I have anything negative to say about the cabin since we had only positive experiences. read more
