I had a downspout from the second-floor roof of my house that came loose from the wall. It would only take a ladder and 15-30 minutes to reattach to the downspout strap to the wall. I would have done it myself, but my wife did not want me getting up on the roof. Estimator was on site and I had an estimate in hand in 3 days. Work was scheduled for 3 days later and the crew showed up on time and had all the materials and tools needed. The Shop Van was clean and well taken care of and organized. The lead/foreman walked the job with the estimate in hand to make sure he understood everything that was required for the project. His crew was getting tools and materials ready and as soon as we were done they got started. The gutter colors were a spot on match and blended in with the house so as not to visible. Unfortunately, after an initial message exchange and 2-3 calls/voicemails per direction from the owner, I have seemingly been ghosted. I first had the gutter installed (40 ft. across, 2 story house), which his son did in about an hour. The colors of the gutter and downspout matched the colors of my house. I then had Arnold install gutter covers to prevent any clogging by debris, which he completed in about 30 minutes. We needed rain gutters installed after having our home painted. Arnold (owner) sent a rep out the same day to give us an estimate and then installed the gutters about 10 days later. They showed up on time at 8am and were done in about 3 hours (large home). Gutters matched the house colors perfectly. They also reinstalled bird-stop spikes on the upper level balcony, at no charge, that the painters had removed. They cleaned up after themselves and also cut up the old gutters into small pieces and placed them in our trash can, just in time for trash pick-up day. Arnold's son and 2 other employees were very knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to work with. I was amazed at how neatly their work was done...I wanted to make sure the gutters were as invisible as possible and they did exactly that--from the street you can hardly notice them, even though they are the larger 6-inch gutters (the old 5-inch gutters were not very effective). Our home, which is relatively new, had no rain gutters. We decided to paint the home first and then install rain gutters. Arnold and his team made good suggestions as to downspout locations and gave us a bid. The price was better than we expected. After hiring them, Arnold's team quickly made the installation with no seams in the gutters. We also had a wide choice of colors. They look great and function perfectly. After that, we had Arnold come back to check out a leak in our aluminum patio cover which Arnold had not installed. He assessed the situation and made a recommendation as to the bests way to solve the problem. The price for the fix was again very, very reasonable. Subsequently, he returned and did the job himself. I was initially happy with the work. And, Arnold was super nice, good prices etc... but, he apparently doesn't stand by his work... He came out to our property a few years ago and finished a bunch of rain gutters that another company had bailed on mid project. The install was good for a year or so but there are 2 high flow areas where the rain flows so strong it pours out over the barrier piece that he put up. Also, a few corners leak when it rains. I've been trying for months just to get ahold of someone in his office to get on his schedule for these minor fixes. I called today and they told me that to schedule any repairs it's a $450 minimum no matter what. It's probably only 30 minutes of work to fix but it's $450?! Even though his crew did the original work?! C'mon... beware when you use this company... the prices are good and they're really friendly BUT if you have any issues it's $450 (minimum) to fix... also they're also super good at ghosting you... and stringing you along for a long time. I've left messages and been told several times that they'll try and get me on the schedule... the $450 mandatory service fee is new to me though, felt like I should post to warn others about it.
