Swamp Tour, Tabasco Museum, Jungle Gardens, Baton Rouge's Zoo, Cajun Dome (for concerts), and the place have been friendly & pleasant. The resort has pools, a dog park, golf cart rentals, cabins, a well-stocked store and their customer service, in the office & at the bar, are amazing. Professional and friendly staff. The work-out area is adequate. All areas are well maintained and provide a relaxing environment. Every store, restaurant and other necessary utilities are all within a very reasonable distant from the resort. Great value for their price point. Highly recommend 5 out of 5!! It's a former boarding house that has been turned into an incredibly quaint Bed and Breakfast, with seven rooms and one suite. Two porches and a lovely terrace overlook Bayou Teche and the famed Crawfish bridge (not edible). The owner, Mary Lynn, has a healthy dose of graciousness and kick-in-the-pants humor. She had biscuits and cookies ready for us everyday which we devoured! It's rare that you meet someone who goes out of their way to make sure you're happy and enjoying yourself. She drove us 45 minutes to one of her favorite places- The Blue Moon. We planned to stay one night and were so thrilled with what we had found that we decided to stay for three.

We didn't understand the new pay to park. She explained it and was so sweet. We deal with her often in the casino. hopefully the owners of the place realize what they have in the casino. That crew is the best around!!!!! We stopped going to silvers, and go To BP now. we love that place, the manager is so sweet, u can tell she prides herself, honestly that place has never had someone like her and it shows. Her crew is pretty awesome we like the girls a lot (i watched one day when the dark haired girl took her time to explain to an older couple how to play) she was so helpful! I don't think there are many ppl that go in there that they don't know. they know what we drink, what we play, it's great how well they know their customers. The casino manager will even go to the store and get whatever we need most times it's my cigs. the place is always clean and so inviting. It doesn't get enough credit! And it should!. I read reviews about the store and some of that negativity drowns the good about the place, like the casino. BP Needs more employees like the manager and the girls who work there. i just wanted to thank the manager for explaning the park to pay, and being the friendly face of BP (I know her name don't want to blast it) she works hard and it shows.

The price was better than what I saw bigger businesses charging. The tour was so peaceful, we saw quiet a fee alligators of all different sizes, different types of birds and beautiful swamp nature.
