Not a fan of of this place and I don't like the way the owner conducts business. She has a nice disposition but she needs to learn how to communicate with people and tell the truth. She tells you one thing over the phone and then when you are there in-person it's changes. Also, it's interesting that I got a massage and did the coupling and a few days later I got was diagnosed with shingles in the same spot where the coups were. I should have read the reviews prior to my review and in 5 years she's still trying to cover massages as a medical expense and if you are using a health care card it's not covered. I learned the hard way she also charges additional fees for using your cards and claims she cannot update the receipt. Be careful! read more

I called in today and spoke with the Doctor. I was happy to find out that they were still open, just a different location. The doctor got me right in. The office is super clean and the ambiance is peaceful. I got a deep tissue massage, Kim was amazing! Her hands works so much magic! I've been in accidents and have injuries, she was informative and so polite. She worked hard on getting my knots out. My body now feels so much better & relaxed. Came to this place last week as a first time chiropractor patient for my chronic low back pain. Been avoiding chiropractor care all my life as I didn't believe in the field as an effective treatment, but I've been dealing with my back pain for almost 2 years now seeing my doctor, getting massages, stretching, steroid injections(from doctor), physical therapy, yoga, medications, and nothing has solved my issue so I tried chiropractor at my doctor's suggestion. I was able to get a next morning appointment which was nice as I work night shift. Dr. Chau recommended massage before the adjustment so I took it, massage with Jacob was amazing! Jacob is not a big guy but he knows how to target specific areas of the muscle to create strong/deep pressure and is very knowledgeable on anatomy. I love that he takes the time to listen to your issues and tailors the massage to your preferences. He really made me feel comfortable. The staff at the front desk were all very friendly too. After the massage was the adjustment with Dr. Chau. First was the interview, she spent a few minutes asking me questions but she went through them quickly and I felt like she was just going down the list and not really focusing in on my problem. I told her it was my first time trying out chiropractor and yet she never explained the process of what would happen next, she just told me to get in certain positions and did the adjustments. So far I finished 3 sessions with her and she doesn't provide education on what she is doing or anything. To be fair I didn't ask many questions, but I don't really know what to ask as it was my first time doing chiropractor. When I did try to ask questions, I felt like she was very vague or dismissive on her answers, and I am an RN so I understand the health terminology. She didn't offer xrays during the first visit, and when I asked about it she said they don't do that unnecessarily. I was just thinking how do you know what parts to adjust if you don't have xrays? As for the adjustments themselves, even though my issue is low back pain, she adjusted my neck, waist, and lower back. Or I should say she was able to crack my neck, but struggled to crack my waist and lower back, I've had adjustments with her 3x now and she hasn't been able to make those two areas crack at all, just my neck. She is a nice lady for the most part though at times I felt like she got too defensive as she would cross her arms and take a few steps back when I questioned my treatment, making me feel uncomfortable but as an RN I deal with difficult patients all the time. As the patient I know it's my responsibility to make sure I am getting proper care, that I understand my care, and that I'm seeing results. Overall the massages with Jacob were amazing, 5 stars, and I will be returning for that, but I will look elsewhere for my chiropractor therapy. read more

Love Dr. Chau and her staff. Very professional, courteous and nice. The massages are calming and relaxing. Deep tissue massage is my favorite. The hydro massage is a plus. The back adjustments are scary at first if you're not used to it; but after quite a few, I can feel the difference in my back in a good way. I've also tried the accupuncture and found it very interesting. Overall, this place offers a variety of services in a very clean, private and great smelling space. 2 main issues: 1.) 10 minutes after making my appointment for what would have been my second visit, I received a call and it turned out to be a family emergency. So within 10 minutes of making my appointment I have to call to reschedule. The doctor herself makes these and she told me that this was not ok because she had cancelled someone else's appointment to make mine work... she refused to reschedule my appointment and said to just call the next day to ask if I could still come in. I'm not mad per say but it was really strange that she did that. 2.) The "adjustment" was not good at all. The doctor is either not strong enough to do a proper adjustment on a 6ft 200 lb guy or did something wrong. She got my neck and that's it. Gave up after two attempts on my hips. I wanted to give it one more shot because the next visit is only $70 which is a good deal, but I guess you get what you pay for. Overall I won't be returning. It's just ok and that's considering it's cheap. $120 for the first visit where I got a hydro massage, and massage and an "adjustment" which is using the term loosely. I didn't ask for the Hydro massage and it is free with the right gym membership and most gyms have them. Afterwards I got the massage which was great. I forgot my masseuse's name but it was a tall black guy and he fixed all my issues only reason I gave any stars at all. Afterward was the aforementioned adjustment. read more

What a Lovely experience. I went mostly for the massage, and the experience was great. Leora (spelling?) was very caring and helped move lots of stiffness and soreness out of my muscles. Very healing hands, and I felt extremely rejuvenated after. Thank you! I don't often find adjustments to be my cup of tea, and the adjustments were okay, I didn't crack much because I was so relaxed from the massage. The owner is so nice and sweet, she is very kind and took care of me my first visit and she gave me an adjustment that I definitely needed. My back was killing and I had been able to ignore it for a while until today. Tired of dealing with the pain, I decided to look up a chiropractor that wasn't too far away and skilled in their craft. I found a few places but decided to go with this place. Am I glad I went here.. took me in on the same day, explained the issue, and put me through haven! First, I laid on this hydro massager that was super cool and it felt amazing on my back. Followed by cupping on my back and some other massager that took away the pain. Last was the chiropractor doing her thang, snapping my neck to the left and right. The place was super clean and modern, staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend this place!! I injured my low-back randomly Saturday night (muscle spasm that irritated my sciatic nerve), and was able to get in Monday morning at Rainbow Chiropractic - fortunately. I decided to visit here because they are down the street from my home. I made a same day appoint for 10:00 a.m., came in, completed paperwork, initial consultation, a hydro massage on a machine/bed, an actual person massage targeting the hurt area, then a chiropractic adjustment. The hour massage for first time clients was definitely amazing. Truly relaxing, but the adjustment part was honestly disappointing. Considering the Dr. who adjusted me has been the Dr. I've been talking to from the get go about my upper back problems/ lump on lower part of neck leading to my back . She didn't even adjust my main issue! She adjusted my neck, hips, (which I could've done at home) and tried pulling on my ankles but very lightly. Dr. is a shorter lady and not much muscle in her to do proper adjustments. $100 for first time clients seems a bit much for what you're getting. If you are going for a massage then yes definitely recommend, but as for adjustment no. Staff is very friendly I must say, and made me feel comfortable. read more

First session here went AMAZING and the prices are so affordable. I have been so skeptical and nervous about trusting someone to align my body but Dr.Jeannie Chau is so great. She helped me identify my problem areas and we discussed how we're going to help my sciatic be less painful. I also had a massage by Iliana (sorry if I misspelled your name) and she was seriously the best massage therapist I've had. I felt comfortable the entire time, she informed me of what could be causing my pain and she taught me stretches on how to work on it at home. Overall, I had such a good experience here starting from the front desk receptionist being kind and welcoming, to the excellent massage and my alignment. Very friendly front staff. Also, they include massages with their chiropractic sessions. And the massages were amazing. However, I told Dr. Chau and her front staff that my insurance doesn't include massage therapy. I asked her how she would handle the billing and she stated that the code they use for massages would be covered by my insurance. Guess what, it wasn't. I had to pay $45 per session. If I had known that was the case I wouldn't have gone there. So don't trust what they say when it comes to insurance and billing. Also, I've been to a bunch of chiropractors in my time and I'll say that the adjustment from Dr. Chau was the weakest. She's a tiny woman so if you're at least an average build man then I suggest going elsewhere because you won't feel anything. She's very knowledgeable and kind but just weak with adjustments. read more

I had my first consultation almost a year ago at Rainbow and after seeing another chiropractor today in Redlands , I think this place deserves a 5 star and recognition!! Dr. Chau was so detailed, she took her time and gave my husband and I great advice. The waterbed massager, cupping,and adjustment was superb. With all those services I feel that the price was worth the amount and time (about 45min +). Now, my time with the other chiropractor for my first visit, I spent about 20minutes or less. First time at rainbow chiropractor flexology. I'm always kind of like skeptical about finding a new massage place. I heard about this place from a friend many years ago and thought I'd give it a try ...so I called in this morning to ask a few questions & then I also went in this morning for one hour massage. I thought it was a little weird ,we're even if I payed with cash ,the doctor wanted to take a copy of my picture (driver's license) and then sign a document stating that if I set an appointment and don't show up ,I will be charged to pay a fee .I really like the fact that rainbow chiropractic reflexology does welcome walk-ins.
