I got charged an extra four fucking dollars and I didn't see it until I had put my card on the thing and my car got declined because I only had two fucking dollars in my account because I thought I would only be paying an extra dollar. So I told him I wouldn't be using my card and I turned around and asked my friend for two fucking dollars they did not take off that extra four dollars. Very scammy because what the fuck. I was not happy. I had to take off two of my snacks because he refused to take off the four dollars even though I had said why do you add an extra four dollars for my card and never took it off when I said, I wasn't gonna use my card never coming back here again And they manually put in their prices so they don't scan it. They just put in whatever they want.

Then I said I will just have a coffee. She said she has to make another pot..5 to 10 minutes. GEEZ! I was the only one in the deli! Unfortunately they did not have alot of items to choose from. Very minimal fish selection. They transformed their dining area to accommodate Suishi in the raw but does not open until 430 pm. Hopefully that generates some business! I hope they can clean up the place and have a bigger selection. I will continue to go to the larger and newer organic grocery store in Grass Valley in the meantime.

All of the employees were really helpful and friendly. I was excited get the chance to go again because my first time was almost 10 years ago. They have shaded tables and bench's out front, and both times I've been they have live music. Great place for a vegan! Everything we got was delicious.

They do have everything at this super safeway! They have a large floral department..large bakery...and hot and cold food in the deli. I went here to get suishi but they only had poke bowls available. They also have a meat and fish department with a large selection to choose from. They also have tons of fresh fruit and veggies to choose from along with hot soup to go. There is a Starbucks inside the store and they are getting their Christmas decorations out. The line can get a bit long if you go early! What i do like about this store is that they have alot of premade salads and sandwiches to go which is great if you are in a hurry! I will still go here when i am looking for something special that might not be available at the smaller Safeway. Nice and clean inside!

California regulates that paper bags are 10 cents but retailers can charge more for them. Greedy Grocery Outlet charges 15 cents for them and the employees make it their life's mission so ring you up for every single bag, they act like they will get beaten for letting you get away with double bagging your own groceries. Some items here are a decent price but a lot of items you can actually find cheaper at other stores. Grocery Outlet loves to put "other retailers" prices listed on the tag is some insane outrageous amount to make their overpriced item seem like a good price. It's predatory manipulative marketing. I hate it here but like most Americans I'm given nothing but bad choices and told it's freedom.
