Parking is a bit of a hassle and we ended up paying the $10 for hotel,parking in a lot around the corner. It was worth it as we could walk to restaurants within blocks of the hotel. As for the room itself, it was moderately sized but we had room for all our gear without tripping over anything. The king sized bed was comfortable with 5 pillows provided (the norm seems to be 4 nowadays). The room was very quiet but the bathroom has a sliding barn door which unfortunately doesn't muffle bathroom noises which should be private. Decor is soothing warm neutrals with a small sofa and a desk chair provided for seating. There is a small frig but no microwave. Keurig is provided for in room coffee but I would recommend going down to the lobby where fresh brewed coffee seems to be provided. 22/7. We did not check out the rooftop garden due to the weather. Would've enjoyed a drink in the cozy bar adjacent to the lobby but it doesn't seem to be open yet. I would definitely stay here again should I have the need to overnight in Ellensburg.

So last week, on my way to Seattle I decided to stay the night in beautiful Ellensburg, WA (home to Central Washington University). Since it was just for a couple nights, I decided to get something downtown so I could walk around. I found Hotel Windrow online, booked the room and what a fantastic surprise. This boutique hotel is indeed RIGHT downtown. It's stylish, easy to find, obviously in a great location, and the property includes a hip little lobby bar a space called 'Top of the Berg' which is a rooftop area with fire pits, etc. very cosmopolitan. The rooms were lovely, very homey with a small couch, desk, large bathroom and comfortable bed. I walked two blocks to a fantastic Italian meal (more about that in another review) and overall, had a truly fantastic and easy night. A couple amenities to highlight include ample parking and electric charging spaces for electric cars or hybrids. I love finds like this, and plan on making at least one night stay over a regular occurrence now if I'm traveling on I-90. Recommended.

Contact was made and it went extremely well as they were very knowledgeable and recommended the best way to maneuver our long 5th wheel into a spot that was adjacent to the pond. It was super easy to find. Layout was well planned out. The spots were plentiful. The pond is amazing for dogs. The pathways around the park - including to the Yakima River were well kept. The facilities were great and their store is one of the best I've ever been in. Highly recommend this park! We will be back

There is a large pond in the park that you can use for calm water activities. Our grandsons had a blast making friends, cycling and paddle boarding. There is plenty to do right here at Whispering Pines. There is a bounce pad, two nice playgrounds, a dog area, and as I mentioned before, the pond. The sites are large, level and nestled amongst the trees. There is plenty of wildlife for your viewing enjoyment. The park does have many rules in place for everyone's safety; and they do drive around in their little carts to enforce them. *Mind your manners and you shouldn't have any problems.

I felt I was underwhelmed by the resort as some clients drank cans of booze in the pool and generally seemed to treat the place like a down market cruise ship. For those of you who aren't familiar with the fun that is Crescent Bar -think Grand Canyon-level beautiful scenery and tons of fun, polite and very attractive people all enjoying the sun and the water on a sand berm. The best thing about CB is that it is only 2.5 hours from Seattle. On holiday weekends, you might compare it to holidays at Lake Lanier (Georgia) or Lake Havasu (Arizona). IF you have never gone to Crescent Bar, you really should. It is the most fun you can have outside of skiing or that close to Seattle. . I drove down from Seattle with a few friends on the Friday of Memorial weekend. Despite it being a big holiday at Crescent Bar with space of all either priced at a premium or unavailable, Debbie provided us with an amazing 2/2 condo at Sun Serra complete with her five-star service at a non- holiday price. As soon as we drove in from Seattle, Debbie came out to meet us and even managed to locate convenient parking for our boats and trucks on property without charging us extra. Her kindness and consideration kept coming throughout our stay as she checked in with us a few times to see if we needed anything! Our two bedroom condo was beautiful. The property offered five pools , four hot tubs, and all types of sporting courts. Our condo /townhome proved to be the perfect place to go and relax after a day in the sun and on the water. Overall, from the reviews, the suites looked like a good place for us to stay considering it had everything we needed to stay comfortably - also including an outstanding gym that is open 24/7 for guests to use. My group took advantage of the pool and jacuzzi available as well. The area is near vacation rental homes and, the best part, the columbia river. The view is down right amazing and one that I could look at for hours. The one down side of things is that you NEED to make sure you prepare correctly and bring in ALL your food before you head here. If not, you'll have to drive at least half an hour to the next nearby town to grab groceries or food. There is a wine bar and restaurant that is next door to all the rooms, but it isn't open all the time, so don't count on that being your only source of food. Overall, if you prepare yourself well with food for your stay, this is a great place to stay at when heading out to this area for a vacation.

Everything you might need for an extended stay. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the balcony very much. The area within and around the resort was very clean and well-kept. The resort is situated right outside of a gated community, however, they both share a pool and hot tub, which we were able to enjoy during our stay. PROS: Justin, the office/property manager, was very nice/helpful and made sure we were enjoying our stay, the pool/hot tub area was open until 11pm, in room washer/dryer, small but tasty restaurant right next to the office, very short drive to the boat launch/marina, restaurant option and ice cream shop nearby, clean playground/tennis courts, walkable distance to the river. CONS: no kitchen/cooking basics like oil, salt, pepper, sugar, spices, etc., some dishes/utensils were not cleaned very well, broken igniter button on grill (we used a gas lighter found in the kitchen), kitchen supplies were not similar to other suites our friends were in, i.e. they had saran wrap/foil and we didn't, room rates can get pricey during peak/summer/concert season. TIPS: bring your own cooking necessities/food if you plan on eating in for some meals, esp cooking oil/butter, spices, etc. as no grocery stores are around, bring pool floaties/beach toys if you have kids, bring water (tap water tasted off to us), oh and a boat if you have one laying around.

Our little cabin was a delight, especially since we were coming from California without camping gear. It was perfect for the three of us and we even had a semi-private bathroom right outside our door. If we were tent or RV camping, this would also be my first choice versus camping at The Gorge. The sites were grassy, everything was super clean, nice family vibe, helpful staff, felt very safe, and even some fun activities like crafting and tie-dyeing shirts. One of the best features of staying here is the shuttle service to The Gorge. You can enjoy the show, then come back to a well-run, charming campground that makes everything better!
