What an amazing find in the middle of Ellensburg! The staff at every level was very helpful and customer service oriented. The room was very nice and the bedding was very high quality. We didn't get to the gym but the bar was well stocked and again very friendly bartender on hand to make you your favorite adult beverage. Rates were comparable to other chain hotels in the area but for my dollar I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Lovely place. Our son is a student at CWU and we were in town to visit him. I had booked this place based off of reviews and my son had said it was the nicest hotel in Ellensburg. Our room was fantastic, lovely view from the 4th floor. We didn't check out the restaurant/bar this time due to prior plans and time constraints (I get that Ellensburg is a small town, but the rooftop bar closed at 8 pm which was kind of lame on a Friday night). The room was clean, the bed comfy, and amenities were good. We really liked the C.O. Bigelow shower products as well. My ONLY suggestion would be to have some instructions and info in the room like most hotels have (even the highest end ones I've stayed at provide this). The lights were confusing (could not get the lights around the bathroom mirror to turn off for anything), and our bathroom fan ran nonstop (is this normal? a malfunction?). My husband and I are in our early 40s, and both "high tech" people. I imagine this would have been very frustrating to someone older and less tech savvy. We just ignored the issues as it was a one night stay. However, if there are instructions for lighting, and if a nonstop running bathroom fan is the norm, have that communicated. A little book with info on that as well as other stuff (restaurant hours, nearby attractions, etc.) would have made this a PERFECT stay. Or, I get not wanting items that can't be sanitized due to COVID but there are also hotels with an info channel when you turn your TV on that share info on the room and hotel with you. Nonetheless, still 5 stars and would stay here again.

I haven't slept yet, but the front desk clerk was friendly, the lobby was inviting and beautiful and the room looks great. The hotel is very close to both the University and The Pear and the art galleries. Win win.

Very cool , clean, friendly hotel in downtown Ellensburg . Walkable to lots of restaurants and a grocery store . Clean safe area . Would definitely stay here again :-)

But everything else was so good, this place still earns a 5-star from us. One of our boys had the steak bites kids' meal, and it was legit quality steak and wedges. For appetizers, we ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella Bocconcini which had a flavor profile I hadn't had before, almost like a savory twist on caprese. For the main course, we shared the Coffee Rub Picanha Steak and the Mar y Tierra Paella. These guys can really cook. The mushrooms alone were outstanding. Not to mention, the cocktails were on point as well. We're only here in Ellensburg for the weekend and have many other restaurants to try or we would totally come back!

I will definitely be going back & might try the espresso rubbed steak. I highly recommend, enjoy & you're welcome.

We were blessed! Heidi (the owner) takes a lot of pride in her work at the venue. She was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions almost instantly. The venue includes decoration which heidi calls "the hobby lobby shop" it took so much stress off knowing I didn't have to spend more money on decorations I would never see or use again. Brides it is SO important to take lots of photos and videos. I bought things I didn't need to buy because the hobby lobby shop already had these items. I coordinated a couple extra visits to see the decor and Heidi didn't mind. (Thank you!!) because how can you decide out of all these beautiful antique pieces???! They were in such good condition and I loved having options. & DO NOT skip on a good coordinator. It is so important! It may seem like a high extra expense but it is worth it. I also loved how accommodating Heidi and Joe were for us. Joe is the muscles of this place he makes sure everything is set up so you don't have to. I had our ceremony in a spot no one has had before and they were able to do that effortlessly. We had 200 guest so I wanted to make sure everyone had enough room and by moving it out of the orchard into the field we were able to do so. & I'm so glad we did it was beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful day that we will be able to cherish forever. Thank you Brightside team for absolutely crushing it! And there are other indications, like the melodious chirping toilet, that this hotel is a bit in need of help. Also, it's not the greatest part of town - not their fault but there it is. Maybe no place is the greatest part of town anymore. I knew Ellensburg many years ago and it was very charming. There are still shops, still a rodeo, still a handsome college campus. The amount of delinquents charging around in their loud vehicles was offputting. I will go so far as to theorize that they were circling the hotel in the hopes of preying on the young girls staying there who were part of a softball team (or whichever group might be there at the time). I'm going to say all that and also say that we felt cozy and safe in our room, and we slept fine. Mothers, though, watch your daughters. Luckily (?), there was also a strong police presence in the evening. Staff was friendly, competent; the facilities were fine. One newish hotelish thing is that they took out the coffee machines from the rooms and asked guests to get their coffee in the lobby or ask staff to put the machine back. Did not love this.

Well... we finally did it... and shame on us for waiting so long. Such a very cool place and the vibe was great. An open concept inside, with a couple spots outdoors as you enter inside. My wife and I decided to split our meals and we ended up ordering the Chicken Tinga Street Tacos, as well as, a platter of Chicken Nachos. Both very delicious and the cilantro is simply supreme on this! The radishes was a nice touch, with some sauce over corn tortillas with that Cotiga cheese. I would prefer flour, but I'll take it! We also had the Saison which was light, a bit dry, crisp and sort of lemony. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and the neighboring tables. Had some good conversations with local folks. The tacos were a 10 out of 10, the fire pit was awesome outside and I note several little improvements wherever I look. I haven't been at this place for a couple of years and was passing through so I thought I'd give it a shot, and I'm super glad I did. It is once again on my list of cool places to stop in my travels.
