After a cold, one of my teeth started hurting and within two days my upper lip became badly swollen from a very aggressive abscess. My general dentist told me I might need treatment on two teeth and possibly even lose one of them. I was extremely anxious and worried that the antibiotics were not working fast enough. Dr. Shah-Saini agreed to see me very quickly, carefully reviewed the X-rays, and immediately explained everything in a calm and clear way. She identified that only one tooth needed a root canal, while the second issue was minor and should resolve with antibiotics. Her explanation was detailed, honest, and reassuring. The procedure itself was amazing. Even though infected areas can be difficult to numb, her anesthesia worked perfectly and the entire root canal was completed in less than 30 minutes with impressive technology and skill. She was able to preserve my existing crown by accessing the tooth from the back, which I really appreciated. She also changed my antibiotic, sent the prescription immediately to my pharmacy, and made everything affordable through insurance. Beyond being highly skilled, Dr. Shah-Saini was compassionate, efficient, and genuinely caring during a very stressful situation. I left feeling relieved, informed, and extremely grateful. Before the appointment I signed all those forms online, very efficiently and comfortable, and Susan from the front desk was extremely patient and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Sweta Shah-Saini and her office, Modern Endodontics, to anyone needing endodontic care.

I spoke to the police after receiving the voicemail in which Shah-Saini was ordering me to take down the review and they assured me that it was my right to leave an honest review. I believed that my insurance was billed for a test that wasn't performed and wrote to the dentist's office to gain some clarification in the form of doctor notes, but never received any. I want to share my experience honestly to help others make informed decisions. I have some general tips which I believe might be good practice especially because it is difficult to prove when the dentist violates these, but please use your own judgment: 1) Get it in writing in the form of an email or something similar who your appointment is with, else if you make a phone appointment and/or the details are on the dentist's portal, you may not be able to prove it if they change your appointment to a different dentist. 2) Ask as many questions as you need, and if the dentist gets exasperated, maybe consider going to a different practice. 3) If the dentist tries to make you feel bad for not having a major procedure before, maybe reconsider if they are the best fit for you. 4) If the staff seems unprofessional and/or disrespectful, it is your right to go to a different dentist. 5) See if your dentist is willing to give you a summary of your visit, and check your EOBs from your insurance. 6) If your online portal doesn't show any records of your visit, it may be a cause of concern. Use your own judgment. 7) A dentist trying to make you see another dentist in the practice after already seeing you, may be concerning. Use your own judgment.

Our oldest was due for her first dental visit and my wife brought both of our kids in to Glenmoore Dental. She came back with rave reviews talking about how patient the staff was with our kids. They got our oldest through her first cleaning painlessly and didn't charge for our youngest after he decided he wasn't having it and suggested bringing him back in a year or so. The kids also came home with a slew of dental-themed toys (wind-up plastic teeth with feet, sunglasses with tooth-shaped lenses, that sort of thing) that Dr. Huang gave them. Flash forward a few months and I was due for a dental cleaning. Customer service is good. First time I called I got Dr. Huang herself on the phone. She advised me to fill out the new patient forms online (big help, no handwriting everything frantically your first time at the office). Her staff reached out to me for an appointment. It was refreshing to deal with a practice that acted like they wanted my business. I had changed insurance, but the receptionist put the kids under my new policy with no hassle. The dental assistant was very professional took my x-rays and cleaned my teeth promptly. Dr. Huang spoke to me briefly, she didn't try to upsell me or scare me into more expensive procedures. Everyone was pleasant and I scheduled a follow-up appointment before I left. Four stars for now, if Dr. Huang and her staff continue the way they have I will edit this review and up it to five.

The amazingly skilled and congenial Dr. Fort plus his team of talented professionals (like gum specialist Stephanie or hygienist Shannon) can do it all -- pleasantly and expertly. You can readily tell that the entire WCDA team like each other and their work as they smile and display gentle senses of humor which make even anxious patients smile. Moreover, you won't be sent to other dental offices for complex procedures like I've experienced with other dentists. As a senior citizen with various dental problems over the years, I've had decades of experiences. These experiences have varied widely at dental offices literally around the U.S. and even a few outside the U.S. plus one on a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier where I served for a couple of years. Some dentists were good but their support team had weaknesses like an unpleasant receptionist or untalented hygienist; other times, the weak point of the practice was actually the dentist who didn't have much ability so he or she had to re-direct you to other dental offices for any procedure that was complex. It's a whole new dental world at West Chester Dental Arts where I've found everyone to be friendly, gracious and talented expert professionals in all their team roles. Recently I needed a dental implant to replace a missing tooth and was apprehensive about the process as I had heard some concerning stories from friends about the process based on their experiences with other dentists. But, everything went totally smoothly for me with highly skillful Dr. Fort and his support team. I experienced virtually no pain at any time from start to finish during the several month process and the implant fits so perfectly that it feels and looks just like another one of my natural teeth that has been in my mouth for years. The superior talents and pleasant attitudes of Dr. Fort and his talented team have given me great comfort about any dental work I may need in the future. BTY, Dr. Fort is the first dentist I've ever overheard say that he truly enjoys his work and appreciates his patients. That comment alone was enough to make me know that I had finally found my dentist for the rest of my life!
