My husband had an Americano with hazelnut flavor and half and half. We both finished our cup and I enjoyed the flavor. There are a few things on their menu I want to try. I love Raining Berrries! The food, the cool concept of the meeting room (even though I'll probably never use it), and the drinks! Great coffee house with a huge variety of breakfast and lunch options in addition to snacks, not to mention an environment like no other. There are plenty of tables to sit as well as lounge chairs in addtion to the chairs in the conference room. I love seeing that ubiquitous phone booth like I see at the other Raining Berries locations. They used to have waffles, but the menu has changed, so I went with the gourmet grilled cheese instead. It was very good with the additon of pesto and dried tomatoes adding a different dimension of texture and flavor. The bread was soft, thick, and well toasted. Came with a lot of chips. The one thing I didn't anticipate was the size of it. It was actually TWO whole sandwiches. Good thing I brought my appetite, though I had no trouble finishing it. The honey lavender latte was delicious too and really hit the spot with the sandwich. The girls here were very nice and welcoming when I came in and patient when I asked a few questions about the menu and order selection. I love, love, love this place. Although I don't drink the coffee here, I absolutely love the smoothies (so filling and tasty) and the grilled cheese sandwiches (regular and gourmet). The baked treats are also yummy. The decor is so pleasant and I regularly use this as a meeting spot to catch up with friends. I really appreciate the meeting room the offer (reservations required) that allows small groups to gather and brainstorm. You can still order and receive food while in a meeting. I enjoy this place so much that I even downloaded the app so I can get rewarded for my purchases. They have a cool lunch special now - 2 items normally açaí bowl or some sort of hot item with a coffee or smoothie for $13. They had a guest list with my name on it so I felt like I was truly entitled to the experience. (This makes me feel more legitimate to walk up and ask for free items). I love the look of the whole store it's always so gorgeous to walk into. Their menu options are amazing as well plenty of breakfast and lunch options along with smoothies, coffees, AND tea. This place is tucked into a little plaza next to a Sprouts and is modernly decorated with an office type vibe. It even has a pseudo meeting/conference room (assuming it's for parties or private events). There are tables, chairs, and couches to lounge and use while you enjoy whatever you get. The menu is on video screens on the wall (by the way you cannot read it if your glasses are polarized!) and is pretty straightforward. There are bowls, smoothies, teas, kombucha, and a selection of food like grilled cheese, waffles, and other breakfast type foods. The employee who took our order was courteous and prompt and she brought our order to us where we were sitting and waiting. I ended up geting the berry nutty, which is a smoothie with strawberries, bananas, peanut butter, agave, and almond milk. I'll probably try a berry bomb or passion berry next time. The peanut butter was overwhelming in this one and made for a smoothie that was too thick for my taste. Otherwise, it actually tasted prttty good. What a beautiful place! Raining Berries is a chain that's been popping up all over Tampa Bay, and understandably so. We already had great acai bowl and smoothie places, but this is definitely a unique spot with a ton of offerings and a super trendy, "Instagrammable" vibe. There's even a large conference room available for use at this location, 90 minutes free! My friend wanted to get an acai bowl, but wasn't sure which base to get. The boy at the counter (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) offered her to taste each base option individually! He was extremely friendly and helpful. She ended up getting half acai and half coconut (the coconut was amazing - I tasted them all too). I am always down for a trip to a cute coffee shop. Raining Berries did not disappoint. Raining Berries has a wide selection of coffees, tea, smoothies, and açai bowls. Not only that, but they have an absolutely stunning decor that totally gives you IG aesthetic vibes. Most coffee shops of this caliber are much smaller and crowded. There was plenty of room to set up a laptop (FREE WiFi) , lounge in a comfortable wing back chair, and even a large conference room available for customers to reserve. Can you say group study or work meeting? Yes! Take all my money! I ordered a lavender honey latte and the essence was just perfect. The coffee blows Starbie's out of the water! In fact, one of the other customers had ordered a decaf and actually had to check with the counter to make sure that they were not drinking regular caffeinated coffee because they said and I quote "it's just so good I want to make sure that it is in fact decaf"! We got our coffee to go, but it really would've been nice to linger in the atmosphere for a little while. This location is conveniently located within Westchase and is a perfect after school or after work drop in location. Plenty of parking is also available. The menu was impressive as other açai places have one or two food options, here you can choose anything from waffles to avocado toast and more. We got two specialty lattes and including tip, walked out for under $13. That would be difficult to do for a party of one in other places. Am I complaining that the costs are not high? Absolutely not, but Lord I hope they can keep them that way. Grab your daughter for a mommy daughter date or grab your hubby or just grab a group. But definitely stop in! It was packed and we did have to wait a few minutes to place our order but the girls behind the counter were efficient, quick, and so very hospitable. I was getting ready to present my dissertation defense online and wanted somewhere that was quiet that I can do my presentation, since my cats are crazy and jump all over my keyboard, so I knew that wasn't a good idea. Raining berries has a free Conference Room you can rent. I rented the room out and I told them what I was doing and I was freaking out and the whole time. They were cheering for me and then when I got done, I was like "I did it!" and they were so genuinely happy for me and made the entire moment special. I really liked this place. Very cute inside. The smoothie I got was delicious and there was no added sugar (which I LOVE and appreciate) but it was more like a juice than a smoothie. They have an enclosed space that you can reserve for groups but make sure you call ahead to reserve it if you're planning on using it. The only recommendation I would make to management is to encourage staff to wait until patrons have left to start mopping the floor. I have mixed feelings about Rainberry. I really want to like it. The first few times I came, the customer service was super sweet. But when I came later in the day, there were about five or six girls working, and they completely ignored me for 10 minutes while I was standing at the register. I even tried to politely get their attention, but they still ignored me. After waiting for about 10 minutes with no acknowledgment, I just left without placing an order because they kept ignoring me the whole time. I understand work can be stressful--I had just gotten off work myself also working in food/restaurant industry.--but that kind of behavior was just unacceptable. Curbside service is not offered here, but they did not hesitate to help. Ziara is an absolute sweetheart, and never rushes your order. Since I had been to different location of Raining berries I was confident that I will be served to an amazing coffee. I went to Raining Berries and loved the way how it is decorated from inside. I saw the menu and I also saw the specials they had for valentine so I decided to go for the special coffee which was Sweetheart Hot Latte and I also ordered bagel which was Everything bagel with cream cheese. I took a seat in the cafe and waited for around 5 minutes before i was served with delicious and freshly roasted coffee. I loved the coffee and it was delicious. It made my Saturday morning. I take my son to get waffles here (and other locations) after work on Fridays. We were very disappointed with our visit last Friday to the Westchase location to kick off Mother's Day weekend. The presentation of the waffles was very disappointing and I was shocked they had started closing up and mopping the floors all around us while we were still sitting down. It was 7pm and the store hours online state 9pm closing. I will no longer recommend this place due to the complete disregard of our long time patronage and disrespect serving us that beat up waffle while creating an unpleasant and unsafe environment. read more
