The coffee is good - but here's the reason for the 3 stars: the price is absolutely ridiculous. Paying $11 for a large (probably 16 oz) latte with an alternative milk in Carrollwood is really hard to stomach. The flavors of the coffee are fun, but just like any coffee shop, you may get a not so great latte sometimes, and when you're paying $10-$11, your tolerance for sub-perfection is low. This location is super convenient for us and even has a drive through, yet we find ourselves avoiding it every time when it's time to choose a coffee spot. Most interesting experience I think I have had to date at a Coffee Shop Drive Thru. I asked which of their breakfast burritos is better and the differences between them because the names sound pretty similar and the response was "I don't know. I've never had them. Up to you, I guess." I don't know mind not having tried certain menu items, but you should maybe know the differences between them and at least tell me which customers order or like more? Also a 6 year old gave me a coffee, not the one I ordered, which isn't even the point. I am confused as to why a 6 year old is working? Was super excited to check out Eclipse Cafe, especially after seeing all the fun coffee and tea options. The girl at the counter was friendly. I ordered the Strawberry Lavender Matcha Cold Foam since I love those flavors and had never tried them combined. I even double checked with the girl that my order was correct because the picture showed a pink cold foam and mine came out white. Stopped in while on the road to grab coffee and didn't realize this was a mushroom coffee spot (I'm not from Florida, but apparently it's pretty popular there). I didn't order anything with mushrooms and instead went with one of their specialty lattes with cold foam. The drink was very expensive (around $11). Unfortunately, the espresso wasn't my favorite and the cold foam was just okay. The drinks also weren't particularly cute or unique, which is something I usually look for when visiting coffee shops on vacation. Service was fine, but nothing stood out. There are plenty of tables inside if you're looking for a place to sit and get work done, though the interior itself wasn't especially cozy or aesthetic. We decided to try Eclipse Cafe Sunday morning. The place was clean, had a cool aesthetic, and the staff were very friendly. The food was a bit of a let down for the price. Two of the items we purchased were 3/5 - Asiago bagel and my wife's bagel was fine but not great, the lunar eclipse coffee (3.5/5) was good but not over the top. The pistachio latte was spectacular and the waffles in a cup were such a great idea, delicious, and perfect for kids. Chocolate milk is always a hit. I'd not recommend this place if you want breakfast (with the exception of the waffles in a cup, or whatever in a cup you decide). If you just want a cup of coffee or one of their more exotic drinks I'd recommend this spot. read more

No prices posted! I might have given them four stars if it wasn't for the fact that they have almost no prices posted on their menu screen. We paid $30 for an iced latte w/ almond milk, a glass of milk and three pastries. The iced latte was pretty good, and the Biscoff croissant my son really liked. My husband's and my pastry were mediocre. It was obvious that nothing was very fresh. I personally wasn't a fan of the decor. It wasn't bad. I just don't think I'm their target audience. I would probably run through the drive-thru for the coffee but not much else at this point. This poor cafe has been through it. It went from tiny, hometown owned restaurant to a larger corporation type place and back to small business. And we know I love a small business so here I am. The remodeling is pretty good. Very intentionally moon themed which makes it a bit dark but not necessarily bad. It's pretty and I enjoy that. I also like that they're obviously trying to make it a welcoming atmosphere. Theres even a corner of games and books and puzzles so you can settle in and enjoy your treats while being social - or not so social! The food options aren't a super wide variety and they're very egg heavy - as a non egg eater i was worried, but there's a couple of savory non egg options that looked really good. I ended up with a creme brulee filled sugar donut and it was definitely a good choice. Rich and sweet and delicious. Drink wise, their focus is on mushroom coffee which isn't really my thing, but they also have some safer latte and coffee options for those of us who aren't as adventurous. I got the Almond Joy this time - really tasty but beware the chunks of shredded coconut because I wasnt prepared for those coming up my straw! The servers were very sweet. I ordered to go and the service was quick and efficient and they were happy to help. Came here for their fun Halloween coffees and intrigued by the functional mushrooms in them. My friend got the caramel apple iced coffee and WOW, DELICIOUS. Id come back just for that. I did try one of their features Halloween coffees and was disappointed it didn't come with the red icing, syringe shot or candy bones! Definitely disappointing because it lost the novelty. Overall though staff was very friendly and the inside was super cute. I do love supporting small coffee shops. I will be back but will probably skip any featured holiday drinks. Came here with a friend to cowork. Service was prompt and friendly, they had a ton of options, even beyond coffee: Red bull refreshers, teas, mushroom drinks, and snacks. Came here on my remote day of work. The coffee girl at the front worked with me to make me a custom drink that was specifically half-caf. Add-ons are BOGO right now. I added Lion's Mane and Reishi. Wifi is strong and easy to connect. It's a quiet space. Music is not too loud like it is at Starbucks. Love this new cafe! I try to stop by at least once a week now for their strawberry lavender cold foam brew, it's become my go-to treat. On my first visit, one of the baristas helped me choose something I'd like, and she absolutely nailed it. I like flavor coffee so I was drawn to this place because they offer a lot of flavor options. The cheesecake flavor did not give a strong cheesecake taste in the frozen latte. The drink had a general sweet latte flavor. I still liked the drink but it didn't taste like cheesecake, just coffee. This particular morning I had the fun pleasure to meet and be served by Atlanta & Dalia! Both of them exude joy & a true sense of great customer service. I decided to make a quick stop at Sips Speciality and was impressed by the beautiful decor inside the coffee house.
