Both have a solid game and are fantastic instructors as well. As of this review date, there is one purple belt, several blue belts, and a lot of white belts. The higher belt folks are patient with the white belts and don't try to smash you down...at first, lol. They feel you out and try to give you space to work a bit, then methodically break down your defenses and submit you, hehe. Ion also offers kickboxing, fitness, and children's courses. I think I will be a part of this BJJ family for a very long time and am telling everyone I know to give it a try!

Here's some bullet points about our experience: - "Water Time" meant taking the 20+ kids to a private residence to swim in the pool. We don't know whose home it was, or where it was. - my wife picked up our sons, and saw no adults in the room. She gathered their stuff and left without checking out with anyone. (other reviews also mention the scarcity of adult supervision) - Movies and TV are left to mind the children, (which is fine in moderation, but my niece watched 2 netflix movies yesterday and the LSMA website says "no screentime") I did not want to leave this review - just wanted a partial refund for the 3 remaining days that we would not be sending our boys back (they already had our non-refundable registration fees), but the owner Mr Hodge (who would not give me his first name), was adamant that they don't do money back, and then hung up on me. Which makes sense, because this place is a racket.

Even with 30+ students in a class, there is still plenty of room to roll 2. Coaches The coaches have all trained under members of the Gracie family. Scott earned his black belt from a Gracie. There are always plenty of coaches and upper-belts on hand. Classes are never cancelled due to a coach being sick, on vacation, at a tournament, etc. 3. Tuition Everyone pays the same. No secret deals, no "because you're you" rates, no bait-and-switch offers. 4. Honest coaches. 5. Have kids? Our head coach is a youth pastor. He's GREAT with kids of all ages. 6.
