I called Ben, and he was very receptive to squeezing us in for a minor plumbing issue. When Ben showed up (on time, I might add) he said, "I tell ya' what- I'm going to show you how to do this yourself, so you can save some money." He gave me a brief tutorial, called his plumbing supplier, and ordered the part for me, and said to call him if I had any issues. A few hours later, I picked up the part, and after about 20 minutes of amateur plumbing, the issue was completely resolved. We paid Ben $95 for his trip out to our house, and for the tutorial. This probably saved us about $200 from what other plumbers would've charged. Ben, of Ben's Plumbing, is a class act, and he is definitely who I'll call with any future plumbing concerns.

The repair man claimed he had tested the pipes to confirm the repair fixed the problem when clearly he had not. Even though that $875 had a 1 year warranty on the invoice, they did not honor the warranty. They gave me another invoice for $675 that notably had no mention of a warranty anymore. When I called to discuss this with a supervisor, he interrupted me and became extremely agitated. I asked him his name and he yelled "[expletive] you, that's my name." He then proceeded to threateningly ask if I would be home for him to see me in person. I would seriously caution against doing business with this company. See also a photo of the pipe that was leaking, the other company I called fixed it for $310. How could "Super Plumbers" have checked their work and verified it was fixed when the pipe is like this? My assumption is that super plumbers somehow broke this pipe, and when I called to question them they verbally attacked me *Edit to add, it has been a year and I have yet to hear from "super" plumbers as to any form of apology, comment, or anything. Remember, their "supervisor" cursed me out and implied he was going to assault me. This is truly a dog turd of a company, there's a reason they aren't BBB accredited

Also, I was able to schedule a two hour window for them to come. They did not show up in that two hour window and when they were contacted about that, there was a note that dispatch had changed the window without telling us. Technician arrived 30 minutes outside of window. He then attempted to charge $350 for the inspection. He claimed the $80 was just for a service fee. Dispatch either lied or omitted the truth. He then proceeded to do very little if anything other than take the $80. Horrible company. I will not use again.

I had asked about a veteran discount to try and get the higher than expected price down a bit. He said he had already given me a discount, so he couldn't do that as well. Wasn't sure what the discount was, but if they do have a veterans discount it's probably better than the ~6% savings from the one he gave me. Work quality (as far as I can tell) was good, but price is extremely high considering the time and parts required. Won't be my first choice next time we have an issue.

Then, after a week of calling , the manager begrudgingly sends two apprentices? who install a very precarious Dr.Suess apparatus to route gas line away from vent ..The apprentices /young men installed while mostly on the phone with Dr. Suess?..Meanwhile, stating "We are not sure if we will have to charge you" After we moved the dryer vent (we paid our contractor because we no longer had faith that this company would do it properly)it was reinstalled in an acceptable manner. I waited to review because this company gave the vibes that they would retaliate by some bogus charges . C. Woods technician also set out water heater on continuous VS demand which continually heats the water instead of when on demand-which depletes your gas much faster. There was no conversation about this. I found this company reckless and indifferent to this project , probaly because we are not in an affluent neighborhood and I believe they have some corporate accounts. Luckily, I was able to find the names and emails of the general managers of this company in case they try to send a delayed bill. Just like many established companies, poor attitude/work ethic will eventually run this company into the ground. I will try to post a picture of the original job.
