I work within walking distance of this place & thought I would check it out for lunch. Upon walking in, an employee with a full plate of food for herself told me they were 'closed' & they opened at 4, before correcting herself to 4:30. When I advised their hours reflected them as open online, she said "the hours have been wrong for years & upon check in, *guests* are told of the correct hours". Emphasis on the word 'guest'. A) the hours were 'updated' 2 months ago & it says you're open. Why lie...? B) my money spends the same, hotel guest or not. I've never been refused service at an eatery located inside of a hotel based on 'guest status'. Next time, just say you have no interest in serving me & save us both time.

Very delicious breakfast and good portion size. When you book your room make sure you add the breakfast option!

Nice menu for breakfast and dinner... too bad it's closed for lunch. Nice prices with excellent, friendly service.

The Rooster has an upscale dive bar feel with a welcoming vibe and eclectic décor that makes it feel both fun and comfortable. I was told I had to try the frozen espresso martini, and it did not disappoint. It was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. It was definitely like a dessert! After that, I asked what other frozen drinks were on the menu and was told about the frozen orange creamsicle with vodka. Of course, I had to try it and wow, it was fantastic! Refreshing, citrusy, and perfect for a warm day. We had already eaten lunch, so we only stopped in for drinks, but all of the food coming out of the kitchen looked great. We did order the fried pickles to share, and they were very good. We'll definitely be back to The Rooster to watch a game and enjoy another frozen espresso martini or orange creamsicle sometime soon.

The menu touts the place as the "Luxury Neighborhood Dive" and the atmosphere and decor screams just that. While the bar was not luxurious, the atmosphere and decor epitomized "divey". We each had a burger and fries. They were tasty and a bit larger than I expected. Bingo, which started at 7p, made the place more exciting and raucous. The atmosphere during the games increased the attractiveness of the tavern and made me want to return on different days. I can definitely see why this is a neighborhood jaunt.

It has a warm, inviting…read moreatmosphere with dim lighting, candles, beautiful wood tables, and just the right balance of being intimate without feeling formal. It's equally perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner with friends. Two of us ordered the "Beef Bolognese," and we were both speechless after the first bite. I've had Bolognese at some of the best Italian restaurants, yet this version is in a league of its own. I honestly don't know what Chef Dom Ruggiero does differently, but somehow the sauce has an incredibly special balanced flavor that's impossible to describe until you taste it. It's absolutely sublime. I can honestly say I'll order it every time I come back and recommend it to everyone I know. Our friend ordered the "Crispy Chicken Sandwich" and loved it. The chicken was perfectly breaded, wonderfully crispy on the outside, and incredibly juicy and tender inside. She said it was so good and so were the seasoned fries. My husband chose the "Ibérico Pork Skirt Steak," and every component of the dish worked together brilliantly. The pork was unbelievably tender, and it was served with Japanese sweet potatoes, apples, cashews, sesame seeds, cabbage, and miso. Every ingredient complemented the others beautifully and rested on an outstanding creamy base. It was one of those dishes where each bite makes you tell everyone at the table that they have to taste it. The service was just as impressive as the food--friendly, attentive, and welcoming (from the hostess to the server). Hush Public House has mastered that rare combination of exceptional food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that's warm and comfortable either at the bar or table. If you haven't been yet, go! It's one of my favorite restaurants in the Valley.

And I finally did. And it was great. Friend of mine welcomed me to town and suggested we meet at HPH for dinner. It was a weeknight but we had reservations, so there was no wait. I don't know that we would have gotten in otherwise, as it was 7:00pm and packed. Service was great but not obtrusive. We ordered a bottle of wine (I mistakenly thought it was 1/2 price wine night but it turns out I can't read my calendar) but it wasn't too expensive, and was a nice start for a meal with a friend I haven't seen in 30 years. We both ordered the Duck Fried Rice - me because it's what everyone told me I needed to do and he ordered it because he's had it several times and loves it. And I love it too now after my first taste. Of note, the portion size isn't huge. I was honestly hungry later in the evening, but otherwise it was the perfect dish. The restaurant is small, and in a strip mall with a tiny sign that is easy to miss. It's nice inside, and I wasn't crowded but there aren't many tables. A bit expensive for the portion size, but it was fantastic and worth it. Highly recommend.

I started with a blueberry mule mocktail and it was perfection and then I had the small side salad made with carrots, cucumbers, and spring mix and lemon vinaigrette, and it was my favorite I've ever had and then I finished with the Bolognese that has a cream sauce that is to die for. Best Bolognese in town in my opinion. The staff was more than accommodating. I showed up in my work attire, definitely not dressed for this restaurant and from the hostess all the way to my server and bartender and everyone treated me with the upmost respect. They moved me to a better table, and for the inconvenience gave me another mocktail. This is absolutely my favorite absolutely 100% amazing. This was years ago, before the speakeasy existed. I remember we were greeted at the table with glasses of champagne. Service was impeccable, food was delicious. We had one of the best desserts of our lives. 10/10 first impression. We went back maybe a year later after the speakeasy was built in, and it seemed like all their attention went to that instead. They were out of a bunch of dishes on the menu. I remember we all got our food except for my husband and we finally had to ask the server what was going on with his dish and that's when they told us they were out of that dish he had ordered too. They offered to make something else on the house, but at this point we were all almost done with our food so he ended up with nothing. They did try to make it right, I'll give them that, but it was a weird experience. We decided to give the restaurant one last try for my mom's birthday over the weekend and it solidified our opinions on this place. First of all, it's EXPENSIVE. I get it's Scottsdale but they are trying way too hard with $80 ribeyes and $1500 bottles of wine, but not giving you anything for it. Don't get me wrong, I'll enjoy an expensive meal when I feel it's warranted. The food, service, details need to go above and beyond to justify my $500+ tab. That's just not the case here. The server didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Didn't even offer a birthday dessert? We ordered salads before our meals and our entrees showed up two minutes later. My sister had her leftover pasta boxed up and they never brought it back. She asked about it and they said they could fire her a new one, but we were ready to go at this point. These are not issues you should be having at an upscale restaurant at this price point. After all this, we won't be returning. There are much better restaurants at lesser price points that offer amazing food with above and beyond experience. Everyone try Restaurant Progress instead!
