We've been here twice, first time was great but second time was wow !! The service is top tier, your water glass will not go empty and dirty plates will not sit on the table long at all! For drinks I would recommend the vita Mia if your prefer something sweet & the May Day if you like whiskey ! All the food was amazing, we've had the steak frites, Wagyu tortellini, pasta à la vodka, 1000 layer potato's and more and not a single thing has disappointed. It very classy and upscale vibes ! Perfect place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, promotion, to just make it feel *special*. This visit they gave my husband a birthday card and cake which was very thoughtful! Your going to spend a pretty penny but your going to get what you pay for ! 10/10!!

Starting with Kourtney- her service was spectacular and very informational on the happy hour menu. 5 We got the scallops, prosciutto slider, Parmesan slider, meatballs & steak and mushroom skewer! Hands down the best and I would eat again are the meatballs and steak mushroom skewers! It was a good average happy hour. We already discussed it and we probably won't return but arent saying we didn't like it. We just didn't loooooooove it.

A truly lovely experience, and a great place for dinner with your significant other or friends! I ordered the Roasted Half Chicken, which was a big heap of protein that also came with some fingerling potatoes and a delicious rosemary jus sauce. Our server, Aiden, was extremely attentive, kind, and made us feel like the only table he was waiting on. He constantly checked on us, provided a lot of great recommendations, and even made some small talk to keep things light and entertaining. We will definitely be back!

Rating 5 stars based on the service we received. I brought my boyfriend here for a pre-birthday dinner and some drinks after (TYF). First time for both of us and our server, David, was great! He made awesome recommendations and really knew his way around the cocktails and menu. The aesthetic is dark, sexy, upscale and fun menu to match. We got meatballs for the starter. You get 3 and they're a good size for an app. For entrees he got the bolognese and I ordered the stuffed papardelle. While we were waiting for our food to come out, the GM Kevin stopped by to ask how everything was. I love when owners do this and unfortunately don't get it enough here in PHX. He even offered to walk us to TYF after our dinner and made sure we were taken care of, making this a top tier experience! Dishes were great and packed with flavor. We even somehow ordered dessert - pistachio butter cake and a chocolate mousse for my bf.

To start the food is always amazing even after the menu revamp it's still good (especially because I was skeptical) and drinks. The bartenders are amazing however we are sad our normal peeps have left. Tonight Sean KILLED it with us and so glad he was still there since first meeting him on Halloween. Honestly the reason for 4 stars is the fact the drunken wifey is gone and the 3% credit card fee. We have been coming here for a little over 5 years and never had to pay that. Wild change and slightly bs. You already charge a lot for food and drinks (increases over the years are noticeable with management changes) but when you always have a rather large bill usually $700-sometimes over $1000 depending on the kind of evening we're having it is going to be very noticeable. A change like that needs to be more obvious, minus a little print at the bottom of the menu. No one even noticed (since we really didn't need the menu to order) nor did our server. It truly makes me want to give you a three star but I can't discredit the hard working staff and people in the kitchen, as it is clearly the change of new management and the "rebuild" from the beginning of the year. It speaks volumes to a group that has been dedicated to the Americano since March of 2020 and now makes us wonder if it's time to move onto a different restaurant.

The interior of the restaurant is beautiful! We appreciated the fresh flowers on the host desk, the artistic dishes wall in the entrance, and the cozy booth. We were seated right away (with a reservation). Our server took good care of us throughout the evening. Attire is business casual. We had the pesto pasta, the half roasted chicken, and the steak frites. My dad said the pesto pasta was delicious! The presentation of the chicken was beautiful. The steak frites was perfectly cooked, the fries were fried well, and the peppercorn sauce was finger-lickin' good (or maybe fork-lickin' good). We let the waitress know before we sat that it was my dad's birthday, and she brought a small bowl of ice cream with a chocolate appliqué lettered with "Happy Birthday" and a lighted gold candle. This brought everyone at our table so much joy! Highly recommend visiting The Americano Restaurant if you find yourself in the Scottsdale area!

I really wanted to love The Americano, but unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. The service was underwhelming -- not terrible, but inattentive and lacking the level of hospitality you'd expect at this price point. As for the food, it was fine, but definitely not worth what we paid. For a restaurant positioned as upscale, I expected more in terms of flavor, presentation, and overall experience. I also didn't expect club music to be blaring in the background. There are plenty of great dining options in the area, and sadly this just didn't stand out enough to justify the cost.

The Americano was everything I wanted and more!! We had a very special Christmas dinner here and our server made sure that the night was perfect. He was also super friendly and it was lovely chatting with him and the rest of the team. The food was all truly spectacular! The swordfish was the best I have ever had! My aunt also said the salmon was the best she has had in AZ. We also tried their focaccia, crostini (which was eggplant and proscuitto that night, it was so, so good), and the spaghetti pomodoro. I wish the later was a little spicier since that's how they described it, but I love heat so that might just be me The only miss of the evening was the vegetable plate. It was sooo bland. It was really disappointing that this was the vegetarian option - but looking at the menu now it looks like they might have removed it which is for the best lol. I definitely think The Americano is a great option for a meal with the people you love! I want to go back and try some of their raw bar options.

We went back again since we really liked it last time. The restaurant is so beautiful, even more during the holidays. I didn't like my drink too much last time, so this time I tried the Versace on the Floor. It was definitely one of the most unique cocktails I have had, with an olive oil basil foam on top. The food was excellent again. They changed the menu a bit since last time. This time we tried the meatballs and scallops, both good. The new dish was the lobster risotto. It was so delicious, I highly recommend it. The steak was very tender. We ordered it family style and they slice it up into pieces so we can share. We had to get the tagliatelle bolognese since we thought that was the best dish last time. It didn't disappoint! The only dish we did not like this time was the spaghetti. It was overcooked, but they replaced it with another tagliatelle. The service was very good this time. Our server was attentive and quick. However, I will say that I noticed both times we went that the girls up front are not very friendly. Which is unfortunate because it would be nice to get a friendly greeting at this great restaurant where you will end up paying a lot for dinner.

I've been to a lot of bars and restaurants, and I can honestly say that Sean stands out as one of the best bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. They are incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely make every guest feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Not only are their drinks consistently excellent, but they handle busy nights with an impressive level of calm and efficiency. Even when the bar is packed, they remember orders, keep a positive attitude, and make sure guests feel taken care of. That kind of service is rare. What really sets them apart is their personality and work ethic. They create an atmosphere that keeps people coming back. You can tell they care about both the customers and the success of the business. Every time I visit, I see them going above and beyond, helping coworkers, keeping things organized, and maintaining a great vibe for everyone around them. Employees like this are a huge asset to any establishment, and in my opinion, they absolutely deserve recognition!

From the moment we walked into The Americano, everything was just right. The hostess welcomed us with such a warm, genuine energy, and that feeling carried throughout the entire night. Our server, Abrielle, was incredible attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel effortless. You can tell she truly cares about what she does. We even had the chance to meet the owner, Kevin, which made the night feel even more special. He was so down to earth and welcoming, and it really shows in the atmosphere he's created. The vibe here is unmatched beautiful space, amazing energy, and everything from the drinks to the food and drinks were absolutely incredible. This has easily become our favorite spot to visit every time we're in town. Great service, great people, and always a great time.

The Americano came highly recommended by friends so my husband and I went there on a date night. It's very sleek and modern. The restaurant itself is dark and has a sophisticated, upscale club feel. They have some fun specialty cocktails we enjoyed. "Versace on the floor" was interesting. My husband had the duck breast and I had the special, Trenette All'aragosta (Lobster Pasta) with a side of broccolini. The food was great but the service was just okay. Started with the hostesses. They were not welcoming when we checked in. Our server was just okay. For the type of restaurant this is we would expect the service be friendly, at a higher level.

The tiny tini. The dirty martini was super delicious.

The food is so delicious I had the shrimp cocktail to start. The shrimps we're giant and chilled to perfection. Next, I had the steak aside of asparagus. The meat was flavorful. I ate all of the asparagus they were cooked perfectly. I had the Keylime pie for dessert. I went for restaurant week and I got stood up my date called the restaurant and said he wanted to take care of the Bill since he stood me up. The staff was so funny and friendly about it. They brought me a few extra drinks.

Hello Faith. Our terrace is fully covered and does have misters!

We decided to grab a table in the bar instead of our reservation in the dining room since it was 8pm we wanted a little more action. We ordered the pork chop and pork tenderloin. The pork chop showed up completely different from the menu description and didn't look like any photos at all. Even had a different potato without being told. I actually made a joke about the giant steak knife provided, assuming I wouldn't need it for pork cooked medium. Boy was I wrong!!! I could barely cut the meat and chewing it was impossible. I asked the server to take it back as it was honestly inedible. After seeing the pork tenderloin I decided to go with my trusty chicken flatbread which is actually very good! My dining companion asked for her dish to be redone without the very sweet sauce. . The manager even decided to argue with her about the sweetness of the dish. They brought out the rock hard pork chop again instead! At this point we just decided to share the flatbread. The server was a nice guy but made sure to remind us they closed at 9pm (It was 9:02). We would have been gone by 9 if the food wasn't so messed up. Plenty of people were still in the restaurant. We ended up leaving our half full wine just to get out of there. I would return for HH at the bar but NEVER have dinner here again.

The service was great. I also enjoyed their extensive tequila and mezcal menu. The only downside is the parking -- it's pretty small and shared with Lou Malnati's next door!

The staff and service were friendly and attentive right from the start. The drinks were fantastic--a little too easy to drink! As for the food, the short ribs I ordered were incredible, and my wife really enjoyed her Mac and cheese. The only real miss of the night was my daughter's beef stroganoff. They swapped traditional egg noodles for spaghetti-style noodles, and overall the dish just missed the mark for her. Thankfully, the desserts brought things back on a high note--they were absolutely delicious. Overall, a solid spot with great atmosphere, service, and drinks.

Instead, we were publicly embarrassed and treated like criminals for absolutely no reason. After we were seated, I closed the curtain because the table next to us was loud and obnoxious. Minutes later, the manager, Hannah, walked over and decided our entire group was "too intoxicated" to be served. Not a single person in our group was causing a scene, being disrespectful, or acting out of control. We were sitting at our table, ordering dinner. What makes this even more ridiculous is that after taking our drink order, Hannah personally brought out three green tea drinks in champagne glasses. Then, almost immediately afterward, she decided we were somehow too intoxicated to stay. Which is it? If we were supposedly too drunk to be there, why were drinks being served in the first place? We had already ordered what would have been around a $700 meal, and instead of being treated with basic respect, we were stereotyped because we were a bachelorette party. It felt like Hannah had already made up her mind before giving us any chance to prove otherwise. Restaurants absolutely have the right to refuse service to genuinely intoxicated guests. What they should not do is make assumptions based on the type of celebration or the size of a group. This wasn't responsible service--it was poor judgment, inconsistent management, and an incredibly embarrassing way to treat paying customers. We'll happily spend our money somewhere that values its guests instead of profiling them. !!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!! We ended up at ZUZUs, they treated us with respect and dignity. Food was 10/10.

The bar is a little loud and there's way too many lights on and open windows for a dinner spot in my opinion. We ordered cocktails east coast sour is amazing I could have drank 10 it was dangerous lol They were offering a signature summer menu and it was excellent. The food and price. $79 each person got and app entrees and side plus dessert. I got crispy calamari fries and my man got meatballs. We shared everything so it's like having the best of the menu! I got the pork chop and mashed potatoes. He got the filet and roasted broccoli with lemon. For dessert I had some butter cake and he had crème brûlée. The service was outstanding and again the food was 10/10.

Food was great. The restaurant was super clean and they had complimentary valet. Service at the restaurant was where I rated them lower. Our waiter, was less than attentive. We told him it was our first time at Bourbon & Bones but he was more focused on regulars and a manager. The servers and support were fantastic. We received a phone call 2 days later, which I thought was a nice touch. We frequent Mastro's, Maple & Ash, Fleming's, and Steak 44. Food wise I put it in my Top 3. Unfortunately. I would put waiter service at the bottom. If you are going for food alone it's a great choice. If it's for service. I would suggest Mastro's or Maple & Ash. They are the best!

The service we received was superb, and our food came out in a timely manner. We ordered the Hickman Deviled Eggs to start and WOW!! They definitely put their own twist on these bad boys!! They are plated beautifully and taste even better! I chose the Pick Two option for lunch and I was very satisfied. I was a bit worried when someone mentioned the brisket was dry.. although I had a tiny part of one that was dry, the rest of it was juicy and tender. Yummm!!! The Prime Brisket and Pulled Pork were perfectly cooked and d went well with the Sweet Potato Fries. My coworker got the Snitch Burger and even though the bun was on the thick side, it was a tasty burger! Prices are reasonable and parking isn't an issue. This place has a very casual vibe with the bar seating on one side and the dining room on the other. Give it shot and hop on The Joy Bus at Bootleggers Modern American Smokehouse!

Well, this was not the review I was expecting to write. I was first introduced to Bootleggers when…read morethere was one on Shea. You can go there to see my review and how happy it made me. That location became something of a semi regular stop even after I moved to the other side of the valley. I use to introduce all my friends when they visited me to Bootleggers at that location. After it closed, my husband and I decided to do a small gathering (5 people) at the Scottsdale location expecting the same experience at 4pm. Oh god how wrong I was. TLDR: If you want to be full after you ate, cool, ice in your drink, ADA accessible and have clean bathrooms, this place is not recommended. Full Review: We walked into an empty restaurant and you could tell the AC was dying/dead. It wasn't as hot as normal and we figured a place has a problem every once in awhile and continued to stay. We should have left the moment we got there The 2 girls working appearently never understood the concept ice. The water had like 3 half melted cubes in it. Considering that even though it was 120, but 101 out, and we were seated inside, you'd think there could at least be that. Now this where you might say "wow, you sound picky and entitled. its just eater." I wish I had the forethought to take pictures. Because if you were there, you would get it. I had to ask for refills for the table because they never even tried and were barely around. Reminder the place was empty minus us at 4pm. The ladies restroom had a small layer of water and I had to move random furniture to help get my mother (who is a veteran in a wheelchair) into the bathroom. It smelled horrific and was just gross. Getting her in and out was like a puzzle. So if you are wheelchair bound looking for ADA friendly, skip this unless you have a friend willing to just move the stuff in your way because there is no way you can do it. Now the Food. You would think that at least the food would be fine. That was of course the main reason I brought people there. The Apple pie moonshine and Peach moonshine were fanatic. The food tasted delicious BUT...big BUT here all the portions are hyper reduced. Like I use to get 5 eggs on the deviled eggs, only 3. The sweet potato fries of heaven, was half of the portion. Same with every single appetizer. My pork belly tacos had 3 tacos but the plating wasn't just different, but the tacos were ridiculously small. The only item that had the same portions I was accustomed to was the BBQ platter. My husband quietly paid the bill (around 300) and we left to find a place with AC and apologized profusely to our family. They were hot, still hungry and my mother felt like a burden due to the staff. I don't know if that was just the naturla difference between the 2 locations or if it has new management but, Good bye Bootleggers. NEVER AGAIN. Which is really sad because this use to be one of my favorites.
