They converted my 2010 Marin mountain bike into an e-bike, and it was not a simple project. I have a small frame, wanted solid range, and needed it to work safely with a rear child seat. Alexander went back and forth with me for months figuring out what would actually work. We initially tried to make a triangle battery fit inside the frame. Once the real measurements came in, it was clear the manufacturer specs did not match reality and it just was not going to work. Instead of forcing it, Alexander pivoted. He found a rack with the right weight capacity and then custom-machined and reinforced it so it would be sturdy enough for both the battery and a kid seat. That attention to safety and detail mattered to me. Throughout the process he was thoughtful and straightforward about tradeoffs, timing, and cost. Nothing was oversold. When I had a quick issue after pickup, they replied to my email quickly and helped me troubleshoot it right away. Three years later, the bike has been completely reliable. The setup feels stable and balanced, and it has allowed me to keep riding in ways that really matter to me. If you are considering a conversion and want people who take safety and craftsmanship seriously, I would absolutely recommend Eugene Electric Bicycles.

I was surprised how fast you fixed it, but the charge was $76.00! Although I was not thrilled with the response that there was an additional charge for a new inner tube, I decided to let it pass. Then I noticed my cell phone holder was missing. Your representative said they couldn't find it but would continue to look for the missing part. I had to buy another holder and sent you a text requesting a refund of the cost. Since the cost was $16.00 for anew holder and the difference in the cost of the bill and the estimate was $16.00, I would appreciate a refund of $16.00. Jack, The price you were quoted is the price you paid. The remainder of your phone holder is not at our shop. As you stated, it was a fast turnaround. Your ebike was in one area of the shop and nothing was removed from the handlbars. We are remiss that you lost your item at some point... But have no fault in this. You contacted us for a job, that job was done, that is all. Perhaps it would be best for you to take your ebike to another shop going forward. We wish you the best. I came in to check out one alt handlebar (Jones H Bar) and they had it in stock along with the other bar I was considering (Surley Moloko) so I got a good feel for both of them. They had a good price on both too. In a world of mega shops and online retailers, this is the kind of place really stands out, allowing the customer to check out equipment hands on and make better informed decisions. Edit to add: a couple things that this shop didn't have that made it a great place to shop; no high pressure, and no "hyper-masculine" attitude. I was able to look and check out items without someone peering over my shoulder, and a number of different folks came in and I noticed the staff was helpful to all of them. As to the lack of a hyper-masculine culture- well anyone who bikes a lot knows that biking, and bike shops tend to suffer from a certain culture- lots of talking of pace lines or peloton, shredding and scar comparison. They can also be dismissive of overweight and older people (such as myself) who might need, um... more robust equipment.... The staff treated this middle aged ultra Clyde as a serious rider which I really appreciated. This shop was very oriented to bikes as fun an and transportation, with gear that is useful to most people who want to get out and enjoy riding and commuting. They may have more specialized equipment as well but I wasn't looking for that and so can't speak to it. But if you are an avid rider looking for more comfortable handlebars or that perfect rack bag, they definitely are worth checking out. Got the bars and tape and very happy with my purchase!

I had called the company I bought the bike from and they were no help at all. I took the shock to my local bike shop but they couldn't assist either. After scouring the internet I came across Squish Dynamics on some thread (MTBR or Pinkbike I don't recall) and decided given the glowing reviews about Andy I couldn't go wrong with giving him a shot to fix an issue I was having with my shock. It was not easy but where others failed Andy came through. I live in Texas and all my Rockshox repairs are heading to Andy as step 1 from now on. No reason to bother with others when you can just go straight to the best. Rockshox Rockstar!

Fast forward to 2017 when he was at the Mountain Bike Oregon festival in Oak Ridge as Squish Dynamics. He flushed and bleed my Guide RSC brakes which were starting to get sticky (the issue a lot of riders are having with the lever pistons) so I could get through three days of riding some awesome trails. I've pointed several riding buddies to him who were having issues with their Rockshox forks and everyone has been completely satisfied with the customer service and quality of his work.

1,500+ miles and going strong…read more... Ever since we adopted Jackson Louie, some seven (7) years ago - our journey of Burley cycling began. In case you are scratching your head, why the two word "human" name for a dog? Well, his previous owners who was going to surrender him to the pound, named him "Louie" after France King Louie the 16th. It didn't quite fit him, being that he's well over 100 lbs at that time, I asked his previous owner if I could put a prefix in front of his name, and so "Jackson Louie" was reborn aka "JLo" for short! Okay where was I again? Oh yes (got sidetracked), so I found out that Jackson Louie enjoyed the outdoors so much, especially water, he would get sad when he saw me head out to go cycling, I decided to take him along with me and so our Burley Bee trailer joined in the journey with us. Nathan, our little poodle mix also joins in the fun. He rides attached to my rear rack with a basket I converted as a dog holder. I'm pleased to say that after years of using our Burley Bee trailer, and after putting more than 1,500 plus miles, I can confidently say, this trailer is going strong. It has withstand many terrain and weather. From rain to high winds, from mud to grass to concrete pavement, our Burley Bee trailer keeps on hauling. It's like the "Energizin Bunny," going, going, going.... hahaha! I've also cycled through off pavement road where there were plenty of gravel rocks during our nomadic weekend vanlife excursions, and the Burley Bee trailer held up very strong. I think what I love most about our Burley Bee trailer is the super lightweight, very easy to fold down after each use. I did add a piece of wood to lay on the frame to hold Jackson Louie's weight. There is a trunk space towards the back where I use it to put my bike lock, dog water, treats, and extra blanket and towels for when we cycle towards the Bay waters. All in all, excellent bike trailer and if you're looking for a trailer that is well made, consider Burley. Cheers!

Versus converting an enclosed - child carrier, for instance. I was very happy with the website shopping cart experience. The shipping was initiated less than 24 hrs after I purchased the trailer. When the package arrived, I was very satisfied with the contents. Burley is a household name in the PNW, for cyclists at least, they have been around for a long time and they are a trusted brand.
