Canes Chicken was really good, you can tell the chicken is fresh and made right. During chow time the wait is pretty rough, but after work it's fast, efficient, and the food comes out fresh. We've been to a lot of Raising Cane's locations and this one did pretty good. The chicken was moist and the breading was crispy. The sauce of course is amazing. Put that on every bite. We shared a couple Caniac combos and I got a sandwich. The sandwich is just the same chicken strips on a bun. It was good though if you like that format. This location is on base at Camp Pendleton in the mainside area. I used to be stationed here but no longer so I probably won't frequent this location too much. Just reminiscing old stomping grounds on this trip. It's a solid option though if you're on base. They do have a drive through. Only had one bathroom which is a single seater. read more

I let the guy at the counter know that I had a mobile order which he acknowledged by looking at the screen behind him, then proceeded to get me one of five cups for my order. Then I asked about the other cups and he gave me four smaller cups (I only ordered four regular drinks). Then I let him know that the floor was wet since someone had spilled ice on the floor and he thanked me for letting him know but didn't put out a sign or go and clean it up. To make things worse, the chicken strip sizes were noticeably smaller compared to other RCs that I've been to in the area. Also the fries did not seem fresh cooked, and only warm in temperature. The bathroom needed a good cleaning and the trash bins were overflowing. And if that wasn't enough, the music was blasting so loud that the guest were practically yelling at each other in the lobby, not to mention the kitchen staff in the back. Not sure why this place isn't getting better reviews. I understand one of the reviewers had a bad experience, but c'mon. First of all, I like Raising Cane's in general. It's right up there with Chick-fil-A and is probably... A little better? (Don't tell Chick-fil-A that I said that...) The chicken is good and crispy, the secret sauce is awesome. The crinkle cut fries are the weak point (and certainly nowhere near as good as Chick-fil-A's waffle fries). I particularly like the sandwich combo, which is just the three piece combo with a bun instead of the Texas toast. Now for this location in particular. First and foremost it is on base, so if you don't have base access, you will not be able to come here. There's usually a line for both walk ins and the drive through, but they do a good job of keeping the line moving. It's never taken longer than 30 minutes for me to get in and out. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. read more

So I went through the drive-thru last night with my wife and kids. I ordered 2 box combos, the sandwich Combo and 6 sides of the bread. When I got up to the 2nd window there was a girl outside of the window grabbing the orders and giving it to the people in the cars. When my family and I got up there she took our card then turned around and told a co-worker can you tell so and so to hurt the f**k up right in front of my kids then another co worker said the customers are right there and she just shrugged her shoulder and gave us our food and card. She literally ran off after giving us our food. That's not what made me mad, as soon as we got home I saw that they got our order wrong. They forgot the 6 sides of bread and the sandwich combo. I should have checked if we had everything before driving off but what that girl did just had thinking what happen to professionalism.
