My (seriously) sweet and southern Momma-in-law resides in Monroe so I'm usually here about once a year. Of course, there are certain food stops that I like to make while I'm in Monroe (hello Johnnnys), but I am not ashamed to admit that I will throw a one eyed cryin hissy fit if I do not get me some fingers during my visit. Although I've been married for over ten years, I was only introduced to this deep fried deliciousness a few years ago. I really do have the sweetest mother-in-law there ever was on the world, but I was not shy about expressing my irritation with her for the inexplicable delay in my introduction to these hand breaded (never frozen) crispy chicken boobies. She knows I LOVE good food, so what the eff, hubby momma? The dippin sauce is mysterious and delicious. For me this canes is better than the one in West Monroe. they put the sauce in the bag unlike the other one. and for some reason there have been several times where I've received the wrong order (which you think would be bad but every time they accidentally give me a bigger order so I'm not complaining.) the staff are also nice as well. read more

Cane's is usually pretty standard everywhere, chicken needs a bit of seasoning, fries need a bit more salt, tea is freshly brewed. The young, Black man at the front provides great customer service every time I've come in, and makes sure that he calls out names LOUD. The main purpose of my review is because they gave me a baby chicken strip, the size of my thumb. At least give me 2 baby strips next time, instead of one mini strip. read more

My fiancé and i decided to grab a bite of canes tonight. the drive thru person was rude and unprofessional. She yelled at myself and my fiancé because she was not able to get the order straight. We both are old enough to be her parents. Once we got to the window she was moved and there stood a young black girl. I'm not sure if the manager removed her to keep down confusion. I call it "white privileged " I am by no means prejudice, I simple believe in customer satisfaction and respect.
