The bread is literally just plain Texas toast with butter, which is fine but not exactly exciting. Even the sweet tea wasn't very sweet, which feels like a miss for a place that leans into Southern-style food. Now every time I come here they have new employees, and each employee's attitude is worse than the other.They're not making any eye contact, don't acknowledge you when you come in. They're too busy cleaning and talking crap about other customers. Then, she goes, and tells another co-worker " I tell people it's closed, they need to get out". Managers need to train on customer service with their staff. Hiring incompetent people to run a store and you don't understand that they're the ones ruining people wanting to come here having good customer service doesn't cost money. From the way he handled things to the lack of professionalism and basic customer service, it felt like my concerns were not being taken seriously at all. A good manager should listen to customers, communicate respectfully, and try to find a reasonable solution, but I felt like none of that happened here. The attitude and way the situation was handled made an already frustrating experience even worse, and as a customer, I shouldn't have to feel like I'm being ignored or treated as if my concerns don't matter. Today we each ordered the box combo, which comes with 4 chicken fingers, toast, fries, coleslaw, a drink, and cane's sauce. The cost isn't too bad for a combo, and it seems they mostly just do combos here. The food came out quickly and it's pretty good chicken. The seasoning isn't anything "special" but the texture of the chicken fingers is good. The flavor can get a little bit tiring (one-note) by the time you're on the 4th one, which is why I'm docking it a star. The toast, though, which I always get double of instead of the coleslaw, because it's so soft and buttery. She says you want some hot sauce? and throws the entire container full of sauces at me in my car. I've never been so disrespected at any establishment especially customer service. The drive thru went by quick and there was a woman outside taking the orders. (For some reason the screens were down so she had to be outside). The box combo was a good size, the fries were good. Not crispy, but I prefer soft fries anyways. The sauce wasn't anything special, I wish it was a bit spicier. The fried chicken wasn't dry and the coating was pretty good. The Texas toast had a good toasting to it and was nice and soft. I think it would be good with slaw, but my cousin said their slaw is too monotone. (Mushy, no complex textures or anything). Overall, I probably wouldn't come back again. this place has messed up tons of my orders. i usually get a caniac combo and sub the coleslaw for toast. i often dont receive the substitution. one time i even received less chicken fingers than i was supposed to and when i asked for the missing ones got a dumbfounded look. today they gave me only one of the two sauces that is supposed to come with my order. Pretty all right. I passed by the place and was dying of hunger from finishing a super long shift drilling holes at the construction site. Got the classic box combo which contains: 4 chicken fingers, toast (subbed it for extra fries), crinkle cut fries, coleslaw,and a drink (lemonade), and one small tub of Cane's sauce. Chicken: Super crispy and tender. Isn't oily at all and combusting with flavor. This was my favorite thing to eat. Fries: Soggy and cold a.k.a not so good fries.
