I frantically looked for taxis and came across Central Coast Taxi. Julie answered the phone and immediately put my mind to rest. She patiently explained that she would need to drive in from Pismo (1+ hr away) and how long it would take for her to get to us. She also provided helpful guidance on what we need to do to ensure SLO airport had a rental ready for us. She got to us on time and drove us to SLO airport. She went over and above to take us to the rental car pick up location after we got the car keys. Highly recommend Julie from Central Coast Taxi- She was punctual, kind and very knowledgeable. The cost was very reasonable too.

I contacted Central Coast taxi and spoke with Julie, who explained that there were no more taxi services in San Luis Obispo, but that she would be able to set up our return ride. She gave me Sammy's number to pre arrange for the ride and we were able to contact him with our arrival information. Then we texted him when we arrived and he was there to meet us as scheduled. He loaded our bags in his taxi and drove us directly home. Everything was very professional and we would definitely use Central Coast taxi again.

    Avoid this shady company at all costs!!…read more We rented a limo from Stardust for a wedding in Santa Ynez in November 2011. The limo was really nice and clean, they were on time and everything else was acceptable. Stanley, the driver, said he was going to take highway 101 instead of 154. We told him it would add an additional 20 minutes of drive time and requested he take the 154. He said he would take the 154 if we paid him more money. With no choice, we gave Stanley $30 in cash. All six of us groomsmen were absolutely disgusted with Stanley. We felt that he extorted the money out of us and took advantage of us running late. Later, I called Stardust to complain and spoke with the manager, Adam. He said he would resolve the problem and call me back within 5 days. He never called me back and avoided my attempts to contact him thereafter. Obviously, these guys are shady. Read these Yelp reviews and check out these guys on the BBB website.     Worst. Customer. Service. Ever!…read more Stay away! You might as well burn your money if you're gonna pay them. You see all these 1 star reviews, and they are dead on. (Why can't I give a 0 star?!) This company is crap, is run like crap, and has a crap manager/owner. I've had 3 horrendous experiences with them now, and I'm done. I'd rather pay 5 times the price at a different company for a smaller limo just so they don't get my money. Bad Experience #1: A large group of us rented their party bus for a friends birthday. The limo was fine and they even provided a photographer on hand to take pictures for us. They said they'd take all the pictures so we wouldn't have to worry about it. So we didn't. The 4 hours end, we pay them and are told that the pictures will be sent in next 2-3 weeks. 3 weeks go by, 4 week, then 5, then 6. Finally, I called them up. Talked to a customer service rep, and i use the term "customer service" loosely, and tell them the situation. She says sorry, she'll have the manager give me a call in next few hours. Nothing. A day goes by, nothing. So I call again, same girl. I tell her I didn't get a call and I needed to talk to a manager ASAP. She said he's not in the office, but she PROMISES to have him call him me this time. Nothing. I email them directly. Nothing. This goes back and forth for 3-4 more times. After weeks of running me in circles, I am finally am told that the photographer no longer works for them and that she took the pictures with her when she left. WTF?! I figure I'll get through eventually and so I keep calling, I get another CSR and tell her I need his direct line or something. He doesn't have one, she says. He only has his personal cell phone on him and she can't give that out. I try to call again and tell her I'd like to go down to their office and wait for the manager. What I'm told is that they don't have an office. Who says that?! What does that even mean?! After a month of this, with broken promises, getting the round around, unanswered emails, they broke me down. I gave up. We never got the pictures we were promised. No mention of refund or even a "sorry." Where was the manager in all of this?!! Bad Experience #2: Another group of us hire a limo to go wine tasting in Paso. Again, limo is fine. Our driver takes out to 1st winery, no problem. 2nd winery, he drives past on the highway. He has to go a few miles down to turn back around. Fine. Then he drives past it again! Goes a few miles down to turn around. Then again! In total, he wastes about 30 minutes of our time that we paid for. Finally get there, we forget about it and have a good time. It's finally time to get dropped off, and he drops us off, what do you know, 30 minutes late. So now he wants to charge us for the extra 30 mins! We tell him we're late 30 minutes because he spent 30 minutes driving around in circles. After much arguing and such, he finally lets it go. Bad Experience #3 (most latest): Shocker, a group of us rent a party bus to go wine tasting for a friends birthday. Everything went well surprisingly. The limo driver was cool (or so we thought) and we all had a good time. The story goes downhill once we get dropped off. As we're leaving, the limo driver informs the guy who booked the limo that he was charging us an extra $300 because we broke one of the window blinds. We tell him that it was broken when we got in, but he wouldn't have it. The argument begins. Luckily, one of us had taken a picture of the inside as soon as we got on, before we even moved, and in the picture, it clearly shows the blind already broken. Evidence! Case closed right?! Nope! Apparently they company doesn't care about "facts" and "evidence" because they are still planning to charge us. We are currently fighting them over this $300, so we'll have to see how this story ends. I know this was a long review, but it is necessary. Seriously. STAY AWAY!!
