Our return flight from Hawaii arrived around midnight, and so we needed a ride home from San Luis Obispo to our home in Morro Bay. I contacted Central Coast taxi and spoke with Julie, who explained that there were no more taxi services in San Luis Obispo, but that she would be able to set up our return ride. We had a wonderful experience with Central Coast Taxi. We traveled in peace knowing they would be our scheduled ride home from the airport. We had a very late arrival at slo airport and found out that one of their drivers (Sammy) is available very late on certain nights. We have had issues in the past with ride share services cancelling at the last minute of a scheduled ride, or being closed late at night and did not want to experience this again so I prepared by contacting this taxi service. With Central Coast Taxi, we were able to travel confidently with our plans in place and have a confirmed driver. We texted with Sammy before and during our trip; oftentimes with him conscientiously initiating the contact to make sure our plans were still the same. We were able to enjoy our trip and know we would be able to get home quickly from the airport on our return. Visited Pismo Beach for the weekend and decided to take a Lyft to SLO. Enjoyed the night and decided to try Lyft at about 1030p and they couldn't locate a driver. Uber quoted me ~$120 that's beyond ridiculous so I checked out yelp for a taxi. Hadn't took a taxi in years so I wasn't sure what to expect. I called at the perfect time, Sammy picked up the call, we exchanged info and he was at my location in 20 minutes. It was the easiest call and ride home. Needed to use Centralcoasttaxi after a car accident on vacation. They picked us up at the scene of the accident in Morro Bay and brought us to the hospital in SLO to meet up with our wives, who were transported by ambulance. Then they picked us up at the hospital and brought us to our rental in Pismo Beach. This company is top notch and provided superior service in our time of need. Our driver, Samuel, was so attentive to our needs and really helped us get to the hospital quickly to check on our wives. He came to the scene of the accident immediately upon my call and helped us load all our belongings. His car was very clean and comfortable. He gave us his number for our trip back to the rental property after the girls were released from the hospital. He picked the girls up at the hospital while we were at a pharmacy getting their prescriptions filled and then picked us up at the pharmacy. Got us home safely after a really traumatic night. Samuel gave us information on rental car agencies and provided some insight on who could provide the best service for our situation. I can't say enough about this incredible little taxi company! From the moment we first called and told them about our trip and the sketchy flight connection, they were on top of everything. They gave us clear instructions as to how and when to stay in touch during our flights and when we got there, Sammy was already waiting because they track your flights. He was super helpful with all our luggage and even found us a market that was open late at night and waited while we shopped. Then in the morning they were back again to take us to the rental car. Searching the internet I called the highest rated taxi company. Julie answered the phone. She couldn't get me to Irvine. I thanked her and hung up. I stood in the parking lot wondering what next.
