The space is thoughtfully designed and smelled amazing. I've visited many salons that struggle to create a clean, curved French tip on my toes, but my nail technician executed it perfectly. She paid close attention to the shape and even helped me select the perfect pink shade for the base color. The attention to detail and level of care really stood out. My first time coming to this salon- it was an impromptu nail day after yoga. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called ahead and they had time to accept two walk-ins for me and my friend (we had struck out at two other places).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's in the same shopping center as Moby Dick and PJ Skidoos. Parking is easy and complimentary in the shared lot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I lucked out with Mia- she was wonderful and allowed me to see what the color would look like on my nail when I was having trouble deciding between two colors. She was patient but also asked if she get started on the shaping while I decided on the color.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was my first time getting a jelly gel nail- so I was kind of indecisive. Treatment consisted of shaping, cuticle care, and a hand mask. I got the cuticle oil at the end but noticed my friend also got lotion, which I didn't get so I think could be slightly different per tech. On the other hand, my friend picked a color and the color on the nail didn't match it- it was more orangey- when she brought it up; her nail tech went to my nail tech to ask for help. They did re do it for her but I think it took some courage for my friend to speak up. The gel nail manicure was $40, and a $8 tip. Wouldn't be opposed to going back. What a great place. The service here is amazing, the space is beautiful, and they handle their guests and services with such care! I broke a nail and my nails kept chipping (!), I've tried various nail salons in the area and was searching for a more reliable spot; I think I've found my new place. I called on Friday afternoon and asked if they had anyone available within the next half hour and to my surprise, they said they could take care of me. I got there super fast but they quickly got started on removing the dip on my nails. They offered me water, tea, or soda while I waited. The space was packed and clean! You could tell they really care about the work they provide here. I waited a little bit but I was ok with it because I didn't have an appointment. Tina came over and did such a wonderful job! Unlike my last 3 experiences where the nail technicians cut too close, left blank spaces on the nail, or even didn't really clean under the nails or around my nails, it was perfection. Tina really took her time and even with the glitter on one of my nails, she hand sprinkled it so it would be evenly covered. They aren't friendliest bunch. Basic service, a rushed pedicure and an ugly manicure left a sour taste for me. It was an overall uncomfortable experience, including a hidden fee for the french design that I thought was included (maybe I'm just not familar with nail salon etiquette, but if I ask for an add-on that I didn't list in my original appointment request, I think it's nice to be informed of what my add-on would entail, including price). This is my new go-to nail salon! I've been seeing Colleen for the past few months for my manicures and she has always delivered! She's meticulous and her bedside manner is great. I've shown her photos of what I've wanted and she always makes it look even better! I've gone to other nail stylists where the quality went down once I became a regular, but Colleen has been consistent through every service. I've done Gel X, SNS, and gel manicures with her and I've been happy with the result each and every time. On their IG page, they tag all of their other nail stylists and there's a good amount of talent here, depending on what you're looking for! They currently have happy hour specials from Monday through Friday for gel and SNS manicures as well as pedicures. Additionally, they have an abundant variety of colors (both SNS and gel) to choose from. The salon itself is well decorated and super clean. I've been here a couple times, each time to get a gel pedicure and I think once I've gotten my nails done. I've been coming here pretty consistently since the service wasn't terrible, my nails when I got them were really nice. However, the quality of the pedicure has severely declined. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today I came to get another gel pedicure and I had to quite literally tell my technician what to do.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Rather than soak my toes to get the gel off, she straight drilled them. When cutting the ingrown skin around my toes, she kept pushing the skin in and I had to show her where to cut. The paint job was also so bad, I had to tell her where to paint since she kept missing parts of my nails. The massage is also not worth mentioning. So I went to this salon twice, the first time with Colleen and the second time with Naomi. Colleen did AMAZING. I wanted to do a fun caterpillar set. I gave her the inspo (see picture) and she did AMAZING. The second time, Colleen was all booked and after seeing Naomi's instagram where it looked like she had done the "ombre look" before, I booked with her. She was SO NICE At first it looked great, I was in a rush so it[[HIGHLIGHT]]s my fault for not paying attention to detail. I still think the nails look okay, but its not really what I wanted. Now, ive noticed that the length is not the same across all na[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]ils and the "ombre" is more of a splatter of nail polish. I also realized that 3 of the nails are were placed weird so they stick up instead of straight. Only one of them is really noticeable, the other ones are not so bad and can only see if you're paying close attention but still :/ The vibe and service was still really good. Naomi was super nice so I feel bad but im a little disappointed especially since I paid $95 for this. Update #1: after not even 24 hours the silver border has started to chip and literally come off. Update #2: I went back and she was super apologetic and said that since its metallic it might do this and she fixed it but its the next day and the thumb started to bubble and it is now chipping....again. Went here for a last minute pedicure and I was able to hop on the schedule with no problems. The establishment itself is big, bright, and clean with plenty of polish options. I love that I can schedule appointments online myself since I tend to schedule my "pampering sessions" very random and last minute as I never know when I'll have downtime. Being my first time here and two hours before my appointment, I opted to have my service done with any available staff member. I got assigned to Kathy who fortunately was very sweet, efficient, neat, and gave a wonderful massage. As prices have dramatically increased for nail services in the area (and yet sometimes the work still is sloppy/rushed/not relaxing) it's nice to see that they offer happy hour deals Monday-Thursdays, and their quality of work doesn't suffer. Raizun is the best! I've been going here for almost a year now for my nails. Melissa did my nails at my very first appointment and I have been booking with her ever since on a regular basis, about once every 2 weeks. I usually get a dip and gel and I've started getting nail designs. It is so much fun talking with Melissa and coming up with what we want to do with my nails. She is so kind, skilled, knowledgeable, artistic and talented. Melissa is AWESOME! I'm always very happy with my nails and I consistently get compliments on how good they look. She's super detailed and I mean come on look at her work! Crystal is meticulous in her work. I highly recommend scheduling an apt with her since her slots fill up fast. Second, I've been to several nail salons but this place is made well. It's a very clean salon, a lot of great open spacing, air circulation is on point, and the massage chairs are so good. I've been here a few times, and they are always more disappointing than not (gel chipping fast, not drying gel all the way, rushing, etc.) The last time I went was the last straw, though, cause they charged me $180 for two gel pedis and a basic mani, and my partner and I tipped. Then, hours later I had a missed call/voicemail (attached) saying that they forgot to charge me for something and they charged my card an additional $25 without my consent. This is absolutely not unacceptable and unprofessional and I will not be returning! I tried to give them a chance cause it's close to my house and an aesthetic salon but they are always rushing around and they girl who works at the front desk (not Yen) always has a nasty attitude. My daughter got her nails done here and she was very happy with the result. I paid for the service. I thought the nails were pretty from far but when you get closer, it looked a little sloppy. The previous nail color wasn't erased completely so there were some residue left that showed even after the new nails were done. After the nails were done, the black powder was kind of all over her fingers and were not cleaned off too well. I still gave a pretty good tip for the lady who did her nails because she had to stay after they closed to finish up. That's probably why she was rushing.
