It is a long journey back into your body, but focus on what you accomplished not what you have lost. Each day I would focus to see what part of my body was gonna work correctly and I just put 1 foot in front of the other no matter how bad I felt in God is good. I have my life back today and so does my daughter.

They noted that I was already diagnosed with Lyme Disease, so they tested me for other tick-borne infections. Sure enough, I'm positive for three. They've also been the FIRST to make any progress with my leg issues, which swell tremendously and turn dark purple. Not only that, but they've been the first in 20 years to take my chronic pain seriously! While we still have a long ways to go, my experience with their caring staff, the doctor, and level of understanding has been a God-send. Yvonne is the first person to handle my medical case in any doctor's office who actually takes the time to listen to my input. My only suggestion to potential clients is to be aware that calls and messages can take a while to be responded to- so be prepared. Have a GP on hand as well for urgent or general health situations.

Before my son started working with Dr. Patel, he was too sick from Lyme disease, multiple co infections, and mold poisoning to get out of bed or leave the house. And now, thanks to Dr. Patel's help and my son's willingness to do anything to feel better, he has his life back- and he feels great every single day. I've never witnessed anything like it. I am truly filled with gratitude, Dr. Patel. There aren't enough words to express how thankful I am. Thank you so much.

Before Dr. Patel, my son was seen by several physicians. No one was ever able to help him, or even properly diagnose him- in fact, other physicians just made things worse. If anyone has ever dealt with a complex health condition, they've likely been disappointed by the lack of care they've received- I know this has been our experience- until Dr Patel. I'm still in complete awe- because Dr. Patel's care and guidance has been so effective for my son. The healing process is slow, and naturally there have been fluctuations along the way. But I can say beyond a doubt, that with each month that passes, my son is getting closer to full remission. He is getting his life back. I actually cannot believe there are so few reviews, because Dr. Patel is honestly the best doctor we've ever found. He is open-minded and forward thinking. He's always up on the latest research. His prices are incredibly reasonable. Susie, his wonderful assistant is highly responsive and also very knowledgeable. We always get all of our questions asked. Individual results vary depending on how a patient participates in their own recovery; this isn't a passive experience. If you want to get your life back, then you'll do everything within your power (because your life actually does depend on it.) Dr. Patel will give you the right care and ensure you're going in the right direction, every step of the way. I am deeply grateful to him for the expert level of care he has consistently provided to my son.

They charged more than $900, of which my insurance allowed $400. $400 for a 15 min appointment out of pocket - that's more than a CEO makes. That's absolute insanity. Do not recommend! Update: so far One Medical has refused to recode my visit to comply with my insurance coverage. You would think that a subscription service would at least try to minimize your out of pocket by taking a look at your insurance and suggesting which appointment type to book under.

After reading the reviews here, I had a positive experience with nurse practitioner, Judith Alderman. I understood billing could be an issue. I needed a PCP, as we all do, otherwise you can find yourself in heap of a mess, so I called to verify that they accept my insurance. If you have insurance but get a huge bill, call and ask to have it recoded. My first appointment for a heathcare review went well - lots of questions. Judith advised me I no longer needed routine screenings for cervical cancer yet only the week before my DOCTOR, a specialists, wanted to see me every 3 years, so this center should not be your only source for health information particularly if you have other health issues/concerns. The office is comfortable and spacious. The bad fake Fiddle Leaf Fig trees look out of place in the nice office, especially as they sit in front of gorgeous windows with plenty of light. Real Fiddle Leafs are ridiculously easy to care for, and there are places like officeplants.com that will bring and care for live plants. There are health benefits to live plants too, but ok. The lights over the seating area are huge white flowers and are amazing. You do have to download the app but it seems all medical groups either have an app to communicate with patients or will be getting one. UCLA, Sutter Health and Stanford, all share access to your health history and now prescriptions are all electronically sent through a main database, "Prescription Drug Monitoring System". Government agencies, like police departments, have access to PDMS, so let's face it, our healthcare is no longer as private as we'd like. The app is faster when you're expecting lab results or have a question, you'll get responses and results much faster. Overall, a great experience.

He listened to what I had to say and most importantly was non-judgmental. I had not followed what a prior sports medicine doctor had told me, and he never once criticized me. He actually ended up giving me lots of advice on how to deal with the pain - and instead of throwing a bunch of pills at me - he asked "well I hope Aleve is ok"? We both chuckled. Oh he also encouraged me to use things like epsom salts and whatever else was helping me feel better. He also laughed when I told him Id get my tetanus shot at Costco and told me 'nope - youre not leaving my office till its done'. He's got a great sense of humour, very easy to talk to, and cares about the health of his patients. While Im not technically his patient, I was told I could easily have him as my primary care if Id like that. If youre undecided, or have fears about going to the doctors (Ive had my share of them this year alone), I wouldnt hesitate to go see him. Ive never felt more sure about choosing a 'right' doctor. and Dr. Lin is incredible too. I feel like with either doctor you cant go wrong.
