We had a brief incomplete chat about a couple of my relatives and their diagnoses, ending before the end of my info - and she changed MY diagnosis based on this brief incomplete chat about my relatives - AND she didn't tell me what more severe diagnosis she had changed me to, based on this feeble evidence - AND she resisted changing my diagnosis back to what it had been for 2 decades! She has a good sense of when a patient is potentially seriously ill, but is also able to advise when a problem is not so serious. My sons have had some unusual issues here and there, and she has rapidly identified them and facilitated great care. Anyways, I think this balance of judgement is exactly what you want in a pediatrician, and I highly recommend Dr. Zivitz. On a separate note, I do wish the office would see sick patients on Saturdays. Since COVID, they have a policy of not seeing urgent care visits on the weekends, which has been unfortunate for us on a few occasions as the telehealth visits are not the same.

At the time, I wasn't having a good experience with my previous doctor's office, so my husband suggested that I ask to see Dr. Ling. I'm very grateful that Dr. Ling was willing to accept me as a patient. From my experience, Dr. Ling truly cares about the individual health of each of her patients. She doesn't just treat a test result or prescribe medication and send you on your way. She takes the time to understand the issue, orders the appropriate tests, reviews the results, and develops a plan to address the problem. One example is my blood pressure. It had been difficult to control, and several doctors had tried different medications. Some of the medications caused unpleasant side effects. Dr. Ling patiently worked with me, trying different medications and combinations until we found an approach that works. Today, my blood pressure is under control and, importantly, I'm not experiencing the side effects I had before. Another example is my bone health. I needed treatment that involved injections, but I really don't like shots and was also concerned about the cost. Instead of simply telling me that injections were my only option, Dr. Ling was willing to discuss a pill alternative and let me try it. If it works for me, it could save me both the inconvenience of injections and a significant amount of money. I really appreciate that she considers both my health and my concerns. Recently, I also needed a special lab test because of a hereditary health issue in my family that could potentially affect me. I brought the request to the office, and they were able to schedule me for an appointment the very next day. When I arrived, I waited less than 10 minutes, and Dr. Ling reviewed the request and signed the lab order right away. The office staff are also very thoughtful--they routinely ask whether I need any medication refills when I'm there. The office staff are friendly, helpful, and responsive as well. One time, my husband and I discovered that our online pharmacy had significantly increased the price of one of our medications. We asked the office to change the pharmacy, and they took care of it right away so I could get my refill the same day. They even allowed me to keep one particular medication at a different pharmacy because it was much less expensive there. Overall, my husband and I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ling and her staff. What stands out most is that we feel like real patients, not just numbers. Even though the office is busy, we never feel like Dr. Ling is simply trying to rush us out the door. She listens to our concerns and genuinely wants to find solutions that work for us. With all the stories we hear these days about how difficult it can be to find a good primary care doctor, we feel very fortunate to have Dr. Ling as our PCP. Knowing that we can see her in a timely manner for regular checkups as well as unexpected health concerns gives us tremendous peace of mind. Thank you, Dr. Ling, for taking such good care of us!

I called early in the morning to encounter a rude nurse. On top of the medical expertise, isn't this a service business? You can't be curt and rude to the clients - especially those concerned about their infants/toddlers well being. This nurse needs to go work at DMV to match her personality. Then I called the office to be answered by Gina - the rude front desk receptionist who pretends to be a doctor. I said my daughter has 100.3 fever and she replied with - "She needs to have a 100.4 fever in order to come in" LOL - you can't make this stuff up. We have found some of the staff to be quite capable. Dr. Zivitz has been great. So there are some good people here. They just need to get rid of the bad apples. In conclusion, this type of antagonistic culture at their facility will lead to bad care for your children. Please find another doctor's office to ensure better care for your children.

Half ass exam. Not returning and I will be getting a second opinion. Bedside manner goes a long way. Shouldn't say "this is not good" while ultrasound was going on. Rushed me out.
