Luckily, I got through to Dr. Myers office and they had two last minute cancellations for this morning. So thankful we got in and had all 4 wisdom teeth removed under anesthesia. Receptionists, doctors and dental assistants are ALL extremely friendly, informative and helpful. When I overslept for my appointment like a buffoon, and woke up in the hotel just as I was supposed to be arriving, I called them up & they managed to squeeze me in later that same day, even though their schedule was pretty booked by the looks of it (quite a few patients were there when I arrived), knowing that I didn't live in the area. As an aside, I didn't have insurance, but I looked around for options and came across the Aetna Dental Discount card, which is a very reasonable rate and deceptively simple discount plan. One wonders who it can be so turn-key: you go look up the plan, fill out your info, pay under ~$200 and somehow, semimiraculously, all of your dental expenses, INCLUDING oral surgery, prescription medication and x-rays are all discounted by 50+%! This is a great plan for freelancers, and people who are self-employed, btw. So I called these guys, knowing that their standard rates are good, to verify that this plan was all it claimed to be, and they reassured me that it was and that I could get major dental work haunting me for the past 5 insurance-less years in a single day, with no separate consultation appointment and accordingly no additional 'consultation fee' - the likes of which every place I contacted in San Francisco (quite a few) took for granted. The surgery was fast and simple, in the end - definitely not warranting the numerous appointments that other dentists attempted to book me for, greedily wringing out every penny even after I explained my financial situation and explained that I could provide very detailed dental records. Dr. Logan and his assistant conferred with me briefly as to the level of anesthesia I wished to receive during the procedure, and then sent me off with a very informative packet of information, very reasonable prescription for pain pills, and succinct, practical advice on preventing complication. As I was paying, the receptionist said, "Let me see, you may qualify for an additional discount--" on top of the one afforded me by the Aetna Dental Discount card. And indeed, she was right - there was some sort of out of town discount on top of that, and in the end, my entire procedure was under $250 (+the ~$100 for the yearlong Aetna plan)!! Places in San Francisco were quoting $500+ for the same exact procedure, even with the plan! On the following morning, they called me up to check in - a very personable call which came across as friendly and genuine. As long as I live in a 400 mile radius of these guys, Dr. Logan will be my go-to dentist!

He explains his treatment plan in easy to understand language. I had six visits over two months that included an oral exam, x-rays, four restorations, and two crowns. The crowns are computer designed in the office then milled and baked in a few minutes. There was almost no initial anesthesia pain and absolutely no procedure pain. I was amazed and pleased with his efficiency. I would give Dr. Langford and his staff a higher rating if I could. Make your appointment now as he is booked out for many weeks.

I used to be a dental assistant and had never seen a dentist refer out for crowns, so I decided to leave that practice. After some research, I found Dr Ledesma and am so glad that I did. I was on a very tight schedule because I was moving about 4 months later and was in braces that would not be removed till a month before my move date. Dr Ledesma and his staff worked to squeeze me into their busy schedule and he did an amazing job on my crowns! I had put off getting these crowns done for many many years because I was worried about them not turning out good. It is very difficult to get a good match when doing front crowns. That's why it is usually best to do the front 6 together, but that was not an option. Even with the obstacles that I threw at him, he was able to exceed my expectations. I would highly recommend Dr Ledesma to anyone in need of dental work!
