As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a gentleman (I wish I'd gotten his name!) who immediately made us feel welcome. He was friendly, clearly passionate about books, and incredibly knowledgeable. He asked if it was our first time visiting, and when we said yes, he surprised us with an amazing gesture....a free book, each, tailored to our favorite genres. We were blown away by the generosity and thoughtfulness. The store itself is a treasure. Books galore, neatly organized by genre, and the place is not super larger, but makes you just want to look at it all. They also have a great selection of puzzles throughout. It's obvious that this place is loved -- both by the people who work there and those who visit. I purchased one book and I felt the price was reasonable. I can't wait to come back to Red Wing and when I do, I think another stop at this charming bookstore is on the list. Highly recommend to any fellow book lovers!

I recommend making an entire day in Hastings and supporting all the local businesses on the strip, grabbing coffee food, site-seeing, etc. The antique mall has a wide variety of vendors and items for sale. Some of my favorites included Vera Bradley handbags and stickers for $1. As many of us are still recovering from the finale of Stranger Things, I was geeked to find Stranger Things stickers and snag some gems for a great price. Additionally, some of the clothing vendors had really cool items. While I am not a Packer fan, there was a $17 unique knit top that I would have bought in a heartbeat had it been Vikings. Overall, the shop has so many items from collectors coins, jewelry, furniture, statues, stuffed animals and more. There is something for everyone. Enjoy!!

The lady we worked with was fantastic and actually pulled the one we ended up buying first - she had us try a couple to make sure we had the preferred length and thickness. The price was fair and she cleaned the pendant (and our other jewelry we had on) for free as well as set the pendant on the chain and put it in a complimentary box for us. My mom even had the jeweler check her bracelet as well which they did complimentary! My family has gone here for years and I have memories of my first boyfriend getting me a necklace here.
